This spot is incredible! The rustic cabin is perfect for unwinding. Literally the dream, a peaceful spot in the woods. Tim is a super nice dude and way accommodating. The cabin has a lot of stuff that one may have forgot. Some games, some firewood, things for cooking, a little coffee maker. It was nice to take the family camping without hauling all the gear. Thanks again dude!

Weekend Trip to Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Petoskey

This park was so upscale, well kept, and offered a lot of activities. My family and I stayed in one of the lodges which had ample room for us. The accommodations were clean and offered the comforts we typically look for and enjoy when we go out camping - like a shower with good pressure and hot water. The grill and fire pit on the side of the lodge was a great space for us to relax. We didn't get to use the pool, but we certainly took advantage of the playground, the jumping pads, and did some gem stone sifting as my kid is on a big rock kick. This park is minutes from Petoskey the city and state park. We used one day to trip up to Mackinac Island. If you adventure, make sure to clock in a few days here because there is so much to do. The stairs up to the loft are a bit steep so it required a bit of watching when our kid or dog went up and down the stairs.

I stayed in a cabin and it was so peaceful and relaxing I didn't want to leave. And Tim was the best. Being cannabis friendly was a big plus for me. I'll definitely be back.

I just got back from an awesome stay at tree hugger. I cant say enough about this property. Perfect. Cabin was great, beautiful trails to hike and everything you could need for a peaceful relaxing weekend. Highly recommend for anyone that enjoys getting away and enjoying nature. Todd is an excellent host. Will be back to visit again!

Weekend Trip to pineleaf.

We had a wonderful time staying at Pineleaf! Our host, Tim, was very welcoming and hospitable. We stayed in the cabin. We woke up every morning to a great variety of birds and wildlife surrounding us, especially in the gorgeous field that the deck overlooked. The bed and outhouse bathroom were exceptionally clean. We highly recommend staying here and hope to come back soon!

We ended up not staying here. Our travel plans changed within 24 hours of booking and Hipcamp wouldn't refund us due to the property's strict cancellation policy. I would be more careful booking in the future. I hear this is a great property, but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.

Tims cabin is so awesome and relaxing. It's just you and nature. It's a little drive off grid on a little dirt road easily accessable for any vehicle. Tim make sure to help you in anyway. If it's all the stuff he stocks in the cabin just in case you forgot something, to offering you information on what there is to do close to camp. This was our fourth stay and it was only for one night. My wife and I were on the way home from the U.P. and needed some where to stay about half way. It was nice catching up with Tim ( who we consider a good friend ) I'm glad he's giving us a chance to enjoy his piece of paradise . Thanks again Tim!

We had a beautiful time here. Amazing place to disappear to. Absolutely wonderful property with extremely helpful and responsive hosts. We loved the ability to take a little canoe trip, and went for several long walks in the woods without seeing any neighbors. Loved every minute!
