We are situated at the end of a private road with only 2 residences. 12+ wooded acres to enjoy(hiking/exploring). At this time, only Sprinter Vans, Truck Campers and small trailers are ideal for the RV sites. Tent campers set up at the back of the property in the woods. Several hiking trails and locations to camp. There are multiple fire rings out back and plenty of fallen wood to burn or you can purchase seasoned split wood bundles on site. Suggested Local Attractions: The property borders a public golf course, downtown Lake Orion or Oxford are less than 1.5 miles as is public access to All-Sports Lake Orion(the lake) as well as others in the area. Dozens of miles of hiking/mountain biking trails. Bald Mountain State Park and Addison Oaks trailheads 2 and 3 miles respectively. Disc Golf courses. Public beaches, paved trails, etc. Or you can just hang out and watch the various wildlife that frequent the property. At least a dozen breweries, distilleries, restaurants a couple miles away, easily able to walk/bike/drive.

This is strictly rustic camping on your own, I live in the tiny house and you are able to choose your site anywhere on the property. There are no facilities for use at all. You are responsible to bring everything needed. No more than 2 nights are allowed. 1 tent per site no more than 4 people to a tent, Extra persons is another site and limited to one tent and 4 people. No limit on number of sites. There are residential homes and quiet time is strictly 10pm until 8am, Fires are allowed. All garbage and waste must be removed and will be charged for failure of properly removing any garbage and waste.

We enjoyed our vacation on Tabitha's secluded campsite. We loved seeing the turtles and the walking trails. Communication was excellent, she answered all of my questions and provided clear directions on how to get there.

Loved our stay, it was a total vibe- very raw land which we appreciate. The goat, chickens, and turkeys follow you everywhere (including the shower) which is hilarious, as they become your own personal groupies- they are little thieves though, so keep your food guarded, they stole a peach from our toddler and some watermelon. Don’t worry it was local and organic. The zip line into the swimming area was really fun and we loved hearing the train pass by several times a day. Our only issue was the amount of poison ivy at two of the RV sites, with a toddler and a dog who love to explore it was impossible to stay out of it. Luckily we were able to utilize a different area for socializing but if the spots are all booked this wouldn’t have been an option. All that said we would still recommend this campsite and would love to return in the future. It was peaceful, wild, calming and exactly what we needed. Om Shanti

My husband and I loved staying here (we stayed a full 10 days)!! The campsite is very private, spacious, and relaxing!! Communication with Tabitha was great and she responded to my questions/concerns quickly!! T-Mobile cell service really wasn't too bad (it was much better than the service at our house)! We enjoyed the trails through the woods and playing with our 3 dogs in the wide open space in the campsite. Watching the turtles was also a plus! Highly recommended!!

I really enjoyed our stay here, it was the perfect place to try out our new truck bed tent. There was so much wood to collect from the forest to have a fire and enjoy the outdoors, I really got to enjoy the wild life. The outhouse is very cute. Michael was a very nice host and very informative and has great communication. If you’re looking to get away from the “city” with access to everything you need this is just that place for you.

This little hidden gem is perfect for those in southeast Michigan who want that up north feeling—without the long drive or the bears. The site I stayed at was incredibly spacious, and well laid out.
The amenities were thoughtful, with a fire extinguisher right at the pit making it the safest setup I’ve used. The trails were a nice bonus, good for a relaxed walk through the trees. Firewood was plentiful and good quality.
Because it’s not rural, you do occasionally hear traffic in the distance, but it fades into the background. At night, what stands out are the crickets and forest sounds.
Overall, it’s spacious, safe, well-stocked, and tucked away in the trees. I'm already planning my return trip!

What a peaceful and tranquil place to have as home base to explore Detroit and Ann Arbor Michigan. Temps were high, so having a 50 Amp hook up was so important to us to be able to run our a/c. Also being able to fill some water in our tanks was very helpful as it has been hard to find publicly. Camping World is only 12 miles away in Chelsea and the dump is free if you have A Good Sam’s membership. The hosts were responsive when we needed them but also gave us our space to do our own thing. We were in a 34 ft class A RV and we fit, but you may need some help being guided in, so let them know when you are close by.

A little oasis in the suburbs. Pretty, clean ad safe. Andrea is welcoming and helpful. Perfect place for a few friends to spend the night around the fire. And a great place for birthday gatherings, weddings, retirement parties.

Look no further……STAY HERE! Place was awesome and so was the host. Property is beautiful with lots of diff trees. Short drive to beaches if you’re looking to take a dip. Stores close by if you need anything. Little town looked cool too. We’ll be back to further explore. Thank you Michael!

We were so happy to be accepted on such a short same day notice! MICHAEL was awesome, great communication and care! We loved our stay under the stars, listening to all the birds and the frog concert was awesome. We had a great fire with all the wood that was in the forest. We enjoyed our stay and loved the quiet and serenity of the property. The outhouse was just extra cute, so cozy and thoughtful! Thank you for having us even with an oversized Sprinter !!!

We absolutely enjoyed Mike's property. It was so peaceful and beautiful but not far from city amenities. Mike was very gracious and his wife even provided us with some natural flea and tick spray for our pups. We would highly recommend this hipcamp and hope to be back again in the future.
