Quiet rural area with forest beside a working farm. You can see lots of deer and wild turkey from the primitive camp sites that look out under the trees to the ag field. We're near all Delaware beaches, Ocean City, Maryland, and Nanticoke River boat ramps and canoe launches. Like to ride bikes - find a bike trail nearby at Redden Forest, or at Trap Pond State Park or if you want paved riding, try the  Georgetown-LewesTrail.  Want to take a tour of a local brewery? Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton - local tours.  October camping? Don't forget to book the 1st full weekend in October and you won't miss the Apple Scrapple Festival in Bridgeville. Food, crafts, antique cars, rides, vendors and did I say food?Best of both worlds - solitude and forest camping but near the crowded beaches and rivers.

We have a large pasture surrounded by woods and adjacent to our alpaca barn available. Wildlife such as Whitetail deer, Bald Eagles, fox, and song birds are regular visitors here. Farm tours and visiting our Alpaca Farm Store are highlights of our farm.

Please let us know ahead of time and we'll be happy to discuss this and answer your questions!

Our sites include a picnic table and fire ring. There's also a well maintained Porta- Potty for our campers and we have firewood available for purchase at $5/bundle. This is listed under "Extras". (Please, no outside firewood to be brought on the property)

Caroline County Maryland is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking in nearby Martinak and Tuckahoe State Parks,Adkins Arboretum, access to public boat ramps, touring the Harriett Tubman Byway,produce stands, wineries, orchards,and close proximity to the Maryland and Delaware beaches as well as Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Dorchester County. We're also less than two hours from Washington D.C., and Baltimore, and less than an hour from our state capitol, Annapolis.

Located in a quiet development 

Learn more about this land:Quiet Location for couples and small families. This is a great stopping off point for a night or spend the week.There is a state park 10 minutes from our house you can also bring your boat for an extra fee.  We are 45 minutes from the beach and you are in a private place. Picnic table and grill are provided. This is not a party location but great for weekend getaway. Near the Choptank river and is 30 minutes from Easton, 1 hour from Baltimore and 1.5 hours to Washington DC. You can also ride your bike on paved roads.

The Agape

The Agape is located on 14 acres and over 2000' of shoreline in Maryland’s Eastern Shore, with breath taking sunsets every evening.

Pull up your RV [or rent ours], pitch a tent, kick up your feet and relax by the water. Soak in the sounds of nature and the sight of wild birds, from the Osprey, Bald Eagle and even the Great Blue Heron.

We are a pack it in, pack it out leave-no-trace camping site. There are no hookups, but during your stay, feel free to patronize the entire property. 

The views of the Wye River from the dock are absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is also plenty of water for fishing, crabbing and even a small, man-made beach!

On days where there is great weather, inquire about use of our inflatable tandem Kayak!

Black Walnut Point Inn

A secluded gem, this Maryland private island haven is one of the most unique spots on the Chesapeake Bay. Our gate secures the half-mile drive through 52 acres of bird sanctuary before opening to 6-acres of wildflower gardens and lawn surrounded by water. The sun rises over the Choptank River and sets over the Chesapeake Bay, which makes wind, waves and endless water views the hallmark. Nesting eagles, resident osprey, migrating butterflies, waterfowl and songbirds are commonly seen along with dolphin, otters and rays. The back cove is a spawning ground for rockfish, and is home to sustainable oyster farming. At night the stars are uninterrupted, another surprise of nature, making lodging at Black Walnut Point Inn a quiet, secret place of peace
