Big Laurel Ranch

Big Laurel is a working cattle farm on land that has been in our family for 4 generations. The farm consists of 370 acres of bottomland pasture along the creek and quiet woodlands where you can explore jagged rock cliffs and beautiful vistas. The woodlands are undergoing transformation as we continue an ongoing forest rehabilitation project to return our land to its natural

state as a deciduous hardwood forest. Spotted on the farm is an amazing abundance of wildlife including wild turkeys, white tailed deer, pileated woodpeckers, bobcats, coyotes, foxes, bear, and red tailed hawks.

The Reformed Hunting Cabin features a firepit with hanging cookpot, cookware in the cabin, compostable toilet, and swing.

West Virginia’s Coolest, Newest, Vacation Cabin Rental and Hip Camping Resort!  The idea for creating a cabin rental/camping vacation getaway in the Allegheny Mountain Range came to life over several meetings at a Bob Evans restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, between co-owners Paul and Christy Liimatta and Joe Boffo. Joe had been accumulating land in the Genoa, West Virginia, area for several years and had dreamed of building cabins, tree houses and uniquely designed vacation rentals and campsites on a beautiful area called Hampton Ridge. Wiley's Last Resort

Wiley's Last Resort is about a hundred acres on top of Pine Mountain in Letcher County, KY.  Jim Webb aka "Wiley Quixote" purchased the property in 1996 and began restoring, developing, and naming all the nooks and crannies that make up this wonderful place.

This is one of 4 look outs on your way up the mountain. Just a five minute drive from camp. Sun setting

Call for details if your RV is longer than 25 foot. Bridge can be tight to cross. We have a 35 foot travel trailer and can cross the bridge. Experienced drivers can cross with a longer RV.

The property is roughly 70 acres of forest with a road going to the upper flat area on the back of the mountain for an amazing view. There is a creek that runs through the property, which fills a pond, then continues flowing to meet a bigger creek. Gardens, chickens, guineas, rabbits, and a couple dogs currently on site. We will be getting goats soon. You can take a quad ride or walk the road to the top of the mountain, picnic spots throughout the yard.
