Enjoy the lovely setting of this A Frame that is sitting on a bluff overlooking a creek through the trees. Behind the A Frame is an open meadow up top with a firepower area and also the shower house/washroom. From the parking area, you can walk up a trail to get up to the cabin; or if you have more of an off road vehicle you may drive up top and around to the back side of it. On quiet evenings, hear the sound of the creek down below and listen to the woodland sounds!

Hello, if your reading this, something in my words must have caught your eye. This is a small farm with approximately 75 acres I moved here with my parents when I was 5 which was back in 1983. From Open Fields to a couple ponds and a creek that runs at the bottom of the property it's just a quiet little getaway accompanied by five horses who have the majority of the range to run.  We are kind of in the middle of nowhere where  but within just an hour's drive you can get to Dale Hollow Lake, Standing Stone State Park, and many other neat places.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent and relax down by the creek or in the woods. Country Backyard Oasis

This property is a small 3-acre property owner by a private family. Trying to offset the cost of maintaining the property. It is the site of a log home (currently with siding) That was built prior to 1870. The family has planted apple and peach trees, blackberries, chestnut tree, walnut trees grow there. The family loves the remote location. It is across the street from woods, distanced from neighbors and approximately 100 yards from a wildlife management area which means great for fishing, etc. Also near to Barren River State park (a few miles). The Amish neighbors (just a few miles away) have public produce stands for local treats.Learn more about this land:100 yards from Federal wildlife management area. This area is great for hiking, fishing, creek.Also, this property is located in Amish country. We are a short drive (6 miles) from several public Amish produce markets. We would love to introduce you to our Amish neighbors for some melons, pumpkins, eggs, berries, peaches or tomatoes. It just depends on the season!This property is a field behind a house so not total privacy but you can camp away from view of the house.Also campers welcome to enjoy free range eggs from our chickens!

Eagle Creek

My mother and father bought the property in the 70s to raise livestock, but since then it has been used more for pleasure and get together with friends and family. We are fortunate to have a relaxed and fun filled life for everyone who likes to enjoy the outdoors. We do a lot of trail riding on mules and horses, ride to beautiful Dale Hollow Lake, and just have nice hikes in the woods. We are located 10 minutes from Dale Hollow Lake. If you want to enjoy all the blessings of the outdoors, then you will love pitching your tent here. We have always wanted a place to get away and we were lucky enough to find this beautiful little farm in southern Kentucky in 2017.  We really consider this our place of tranquility where you can come escape and recharge.Learn more about this land:Pitch your tent along one of our ponds or on one of the hill tops overlooking some really nice valley's.  We have picnic tables and free firewood available. Just minutes from two wonderful lakes if you're into boating or fishing. We also rent jet skis. We love meeting new people and are always looking for a reason to grill out should you just want to relax for a little while.  Hope to see you soon!

This farm has been in my family for 3 generations, the Road is named after my great grandparents.
 Sitting right on Barren River Lake we are at the end of a dead end chip sealed road.
 Come join us for a few nights and share in the little piece of suclusion that we call home.

Pitch your tent in the back of our 60 acre farm and stay completely secluded from people.  You will drive 2 miles down a chip sealed road and then almost a mile down a dirt road past where the public road ends.  Stay as connected or as disconnected as you want.  Our farm offers the perfect escape from the day to day race of life.  If you want to get away come spend a few days with us!!!  We only allow booking of one camp site at time to ensure your privacy.  Upon arrival there are 2 sites to pick from(see map in photos section).  Camp firewood available for purchase at the barn on your way in. Signs are in place to take you to camp sites from the address that you will receive upon booking.  Can't wait for you to come spend a couple nights with us!
