Enjoy the lovely setting of this A Frame that is sitting on a bluff overlooking a creek through the trees. Behind the A Frame is an open meadow up top with a firepower area and also the shower house/washroom. From the parking area, you can walk up a trail to get up to the cabin; or if you have more of an off road vehicle you may drive up top and around to the back side of it. On quiet evenings, hear the sound of the creek down below and listen to the woodland sounds!

There is a couple camping spots available in the meadow and the fireplace is very central to the location. You can drive up with 4wd or walk up! This is a rural, and private setting! There are country neighbors around us and barking dogs and farm noises can be heard from time to time. Traffic from the highway can be heard, yet it is a very peaceful and quiet setting for the most part. On top of where the A frame is sitting, just behind it is a peaceful fireplace with no house in site and meadows and trails to walk ! There’s a picnic spot, Composting toilet, sink, and shower! The A frame is available for rental as well!

The A Frame is overlooking the bluff. There is also another camping site just close by you can book as well… it’s more of a tenting option. You can feel welcome to bring firewood or use ours and have a fire as well! This is a rural, and private setting! There are country neighbors around us and barking dogs and farm noises can be heard from time to time. Traffic from the highway can be heard, yet it is a very peaceful and quiet setting for the most part. On top of where the A frame is sitting, just behind it is a peaceful fireplace with no house in site and meadows and trails to walk ! There’s a shower house and composting toilet just a short walk behind the A frame.

Marie has a beautiful and tranquil property. I am a solo traveler and i felt very safe. The rushing stream was a peaceful sound. I stayed very cozy as it had turned a little cold and I wasn't prepared. Thank you Marie.

Hidden Gem!

The EH frame

The EH frame was the perfect get away space!! We loved having fires and sitting out on the porch drinking coffee! Just very peaceful and relaxing! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful retreat

Marie’s land is just beautiful! Half of our family slept in her cozy EH frame and then two of us camped right near by. The bathroom set up was great to have (like hot water to wash dishes!) especially with all of her little touches (towels to borrow, toothbrush kits, shampoo/conditioner in shower). Our kids enjoyed exploring her land and playing disc golf with her setup. We had a wonderful stay!

The EH frame

We really enjoyed our stay at the EH A-frame.. had a nice little break away from the city. We were able to relax by the fire and watch the stars later that night. It was much needed! Would definitely stay again!

Nice, secluded tent site.

Creekside Meadows

This spot is lovely and secluded and the hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. I arrived near dark, so they provided a large light to help me set up my tent. They also provided firewood and kindling, as well as an extra lantern. A few things to note: - this campsite is in a forested area and the creepy crawlies do make their presence known at night. I very quickly noticed many wolf spiders and grasshoppers. However, during the day time, the bugs were not nearly as bad. - the tent site is up a short, but steep trail. I took a few trips and had no problem going up and down, even in the dark, but it is important to note it’s not a drive-up site. - the compost toilet is very nice! I know compost toilets can be daunting to some, but this one was very clean and easy to use. I did not use the shower, but it also appeared very nice. The bathhouse is a short walk from the tent site. I enjoyed my quick 1-night stay and the hosts at this site - it’s clear they love their land.
