Our property is 4 miles down the road from BLM, where you are able to do any outdoor activities you desire. Personally, I love to ride horses and hike there. You may be greeted by horses or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). 

If you are a horse or dog lover, you are able to interact with our animals on the property!

I am on the property, as well, for any questions/issues/concerns. There is a runoff river that runs through the property but rarely has water. We like to use it for campfires instead!

Brittney offers horse rides around the property. This was a nice addition especially for our little one who loves horses. Brittney was very responsive when we messaged her. 

There are a couple trees on the lot that can be used for a little shade. But this is a desert, be prepared. 

Gate post and lads to the back of the property. Make sure you close it back once you enter.

Beautiful views of the Idaho sunsets from the hill overlooking Glenns Ferry. 34 acres of peace and quiet to enjoy local wildlife, stargazing, hike around, or just use as a base to explore the local area, go fishing, hunting, or visit the winery in town.

Note: you can hear the interstate and the train as it is a small town and both are within a mile from campsite

Campsite is a 4 acre pasture with a small grove of trees that holds a prepared firepit as well as a rope hammock and small sitting area. Lots of birds and wildlife are around (owls, hawks, hummingbirds, deer, endless quail and rabbits, the occasional coyote or fox) and with easy access to the town and I-84 for exploring.

We are just a few minutes drive from town where there is a grocery store, several bars, a golf course, Y-Knot winery, and fishing on the Snake River. This is a great location for exploration of the area, birding, fishing, or hunting up near Bennett Mountain. Only 20 min drive from Bruneau Sand Dunes. We are also very conveniently located off of I-84 for road-trippers passing through. As we are near the interstate there are some constant road noise sounds. It is generally fairly quiet and makes white noise but is something to be aware of if that sort of sound bothers you.  

You may bring your car into the pasture (mindful of vertical irrigation pipes when driving in pasture) and camp anywhere you like in this pasture (recommend near the grove so you are close to firepit). 

LGBTQIA+ friendly, Pet friendly.  We are a tent and car camping only site as we do not have facilities for a trailer and we the pasture is on a slight slope so will not be able to find a level spot for a trailer. 

 We do have 34 acres and the property is all available to hike on ... if you would like to hike up the hill (there is no direct car access up there) it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding area and night sky but can be quite windy. 

We have firewood available and will try to have a small supply at the firepit, but if you would like extra or want to guarantee some available please add it on.

This is a private piece of property located just a few minutes from the 1000 Springs area known for its crystal clear waters and natural hot springs. Come play in the area and camp on your own private acreage at night. We have 3 designated tent/truck or car campsites at the moment. We will be developing a few RV slips soon and geothermal pools so please watch for that in the future!

Hagerman / Buhl / 1000 Springs Area. Tired of large commercial campgrounds?  We understand. Camp with privacy and space. On6acres is a lost piece of private ground in the Snake River Canyon only 10 minutes from boat launches and hot spring baths in the Thousand Springs area. A 6.5 acre sloping desert with canyon views, ponds, native plants and trees. Including turkeys, deer, eagles, hawks, fish, rabbits, lizards, otters, and many other wild animals.   

**This is a natural, untouched, raw property. ******Please set your expectations correctly. Right now the experience is much closer to actual camping experience rather than a commercial campground but with the benefit of only being 10 minutes from the river in one direction and 10 minutes from town in the other direction. Come stargaze with very little light pollution and enjoy the quiet nature around. There are no amenities other than 3 designated/private spaces to pitch a tent or pick-up/van campers and a professionally maintained outhouse.  Respect the property, and the wildlife and ecosystem it supports. We are happy to share the space while we continue to grow and develop this awesome piece of ground.

Pitch a tent or pull your camper van down to our gorgeous riverfront bench! *Please note we can only accommodate 22' TOTAL length of vehicle and trailer* This property sits lower than the main house so it's a private location right on the river! Miracle Hot Springs and 1000 Springs are both within a couple miles from us. Box Canyon hike and other hikes are also accessible from our place. Bird watching is incredible and you can explore as much nature as you wish!  You are welcome to fish off the banks too! If the weather is nice, we also have a canoe onsite.  There is a potable water spigot at the main house, and a porta potty on site at the river.

*We have lots of native grasses and brush that do not get irrigated therefore, we do not allow campfires (even in receptacles).*

**We cannot accommodate LATE ARRIVALS, sorry!  Our camp is hard to find in the dark and we've had too many people get lost. Please arrive to camp before dark, thank you!!

**Note: Maximum TOTAL length we can accommodate is 22' (vehicle AND trailer). Perfect for tent camping, campervans and very small trailers. This is due to the narrow turn around radius. If you are pulling a small trailer, make sure you feel comfortable turning around and backing up.

*If the weather is rainy in the 2 days prior to your arrival, we may need to ask you to cancel your booking.  The driveway to camp and the camp area are not suitable when the grounds are wet.*

The Mendoza Ranchette

Private acreage home with serene views in every direction.   Enjoy the manicured landscape, horses grazing in the pasture, and from July to October enjoy picking cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and apples.

We are 7min from I-84 & 7min from Twin Falls and its many attractions: Perrine Bridge, Snake River Canyon, Centennial Park, Shoshone Falls, Dierkes Lake.  Enjoy local wineries and farm to table restaurants nearby.

We allow dogs and horses!  Our property is not fenced for dogs. Dogs to be well mannered or leashed during your stay.

For RVs / Travel Trailers - 
 -  Our primary site has water and full 50amp service. We are able to provide a converter for from 30 to 50amp for this spot.
 -  Our secondary spot is a covered RV Bay with water & 30amp service. This spot is large enough for the tallest 5th wheels and your slide outs.
 -  Utilities are $35/night. We do not allow generators.

For Tent / Car Camping - 
 -  Our primary spot for tent camping is on the front lawn, alongside the house.
 -  We have a 1/2 bathroom with a toilet and sink available
 -  If the day you are interested in shows as booked, we may still be able to accommodate you.  Feel free to reach out to us directly
