Minidoka County Fairgrounds: The fairgrounds are located East of Rupert encompassing an area of approximately sixty-five acres. The grounds includes a rodeo arena, display buildings (antique building, a commercial building, 4-H building), and open air pavilion for livestock shows, family reunions, and other community events. Hidden behind the main grounds is our small and quaint campground in a groomed grassy field. with a spectacular view of Mount Harrison.
The Minidoka County Fair held the first week in August and includes a full week of events including entertainment, open class exhibits, food, rodeo, 4-H and FFA livestock shows. Numerous events are held at the fairgrounds throughout the year including Moto-X races, rodeos, auctions, 4-H events. weddings, horseshows, family reunions, and more. Note-Dates have been blocked for these events. We are fortunate to have this multi-purpose facility for use in our community.

This is the land where the original Maroa school house was built in 1914. Our house is original and is where the teachers lived. We live in a quite neighborhood surrounded by beautiful farmland. There is very little noise and traffic and the night sky is amazing!!We're located one mile from US-93 and 10 minute driving distance to Twin Falls for fun shopping, great bars and restaurants, and historic hotsprings within the area. Just a mile up the road are the fish ponds, a great place to explore and get the catch of the day or head down to the Snake River for more water related opportunities. There are nice parks nearby and great opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, ATV and dirt biking, biking and running trails, boating, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing or snow boarding. There is excellent outdoor recreation any season of the year. The great Snake River canyon is 2 miles away with nearby Nationally Recognized Shoshone Falls, the Niagra of the West, with a drop of nearly 500 feet.We truly live in an amazing part of the world! Nearly every day of the year you can watch the BASE jumpers from the Perrine bridge, one of the only legal places in the country. You name it, you can do it here. We're only a few hours from Yellowstone National Park and historic Sun Valley is 90 mins north or the famous City of Rocks rock climbing area can be found south of here.About 45 minutes to an hour north of here is Craters of the Moon National Monument for some excellent caving hiking and exploring.We use this area for storing vehicles or riding toys so please be respectful of our homes and the neighbors.

Oakley is a Great town to visit. Oakley features Victorian style houses built in the 1800s which are very amazing to look at. There’s also a great new swimming pool and park to visit with a playground. We are also located 15 minutes away from the world famous City of Rocks National Park and Castle Rocks National Park. We have beautiful sunsets almost every night. We also are 10 minutes away from the Oakley Reservoir which has great fishing and kayaking there’s plenty of mountain roads to adventure on and see wildlife.

This was a great place for a quick overnight as we roadtripped through the Twin Falls area. The offering of a bathroom and water was really nice. The space was flat for a tent. We enjoyed playing with one of the cats, who was very friendly. The goats were fun, and quiet at night. For directions, using the address via copy/past was correct in Google Maps but for some reason the loaded link through Hip Camp took as a way that ended at a different farm (could have been user error on our part!)

This was a great stop for the night. Close to the highway, in the middle of town, but also quiet and peaceful. We lucked out and had the place to ourselves. Our dog had the run of the place. 30 amp power and water worked with no problems.
