Welcome to Olive Rock Ranch! Our unique property is nestled on 19.35 acres in Aguanga. This hilltop location has endless views of Dameron Valley and the Palomar Mountains. Come sit and relax on your patio overlooking the stars and sunsets. Our property features an olive grove farm with plenty of hiking trails. You can explore nature at its best with our natural habitat full of quails, white tail rabbits, and natural vegetation. We love animals as well and have horses, ducks, and chickens roaming onsite. We have many nearby points of interest including the Palomar Mountains where you can get outside to take a hike or explore. We are driving distance from Julian, CA where you can check out their famous pies! We are also close to Borrego Trails where you can run and recreate and we’re only 2 miles from Emerald Creek Winery where you can kick back afterwards. Lastly, we are only 18 miles from downtown Temecula and all food and activities they have to offer. Even though we are near to activities you can find great things to do on our property as well. You can explore our 20 acres and hike through the olive groves all afternoon. You can also feed the chickens, ducks, and horses or head out the gate where you can find miles of dirt roads to roam. You can expect some natural noises during your stay. At a distance sometimes you’ll hear coyotes, owls, and the wake-up call from the rooster. Occasionally you will hear a donkey call in the distance. Your hosts live on site and usually plan to meet and greet as needed. Once you are settled you will have plenty of privacy, but we are on-site in our private home and could be reached if needed! This listing is for our spectacular yurt tent set and an RV site called the stables up on 20 acres in a secure and safe olive grove with plenty of privacy. You can expect spectacular views of the valley below, the Palomar mountains and relaxing sunsets under a beautiful blanket of stars. Our main house is about 600 feet from the site, but you will enjoy your own outside shower, compost restroom, picnic table, propane BBQ, large cooler, and fire pit! The tent accommodates up to 4 people and an additional person could bring their tent and set up on the site as well. Amenities listed below: -Private fire pit -Private picnic table -Potable water via spigot -Propane BBQ -Washing sink -Large cooler -Private composting toilet with sink -Good cell service and reception to most cell carriers no Wi-Fi -Pets allowed -Trash bins available Additional details to note Quiet hours being at 10pm, please be mindful after this time. The perfect size for 2, the trailer is fully equipped with all the basics you'll need for your stay. Enjoy golden hour sunsets on the plant filled patio with an abundance of lounging options as well as a big bbq and outdoor shower! The trailer is on the side of owner Tamarra's house and has a neighbor nearby on the side but is otherwise very private. You will have your own entry and private outdoor patio. Mount Washington is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Walk up the hill to the self realization center on a sunny afternoon. Their beautiful grounds are often open to the public to visit and are a great place to meditate. Hip and fun Highland Park neighborhood is just a quick scoot down the hill and has lots of great bars, boutiques, and restaurants. The Gold Line Metro is also located at the bottom of the hill and offers an easy and convenient way to get across town and avoid those congested LA freeways!

Until recently, it was impossible to obtain any internet access at all. Thanks to Starlink, we now have fast satellite internet on site. Please note that it is normal for the system to drop out for periods of 30 seconds up to 2 minutes at a time since this is early stage technology. STRONG WINDS The winds in the desert are very strong between February and June which may limit your enjoyment of the outdoor amenities. We do all we can to navigate around the winds but cannot control the impact it may have on your stay. POWER OUTAGES The power is cut off for 8-12 hours at least twice a year by the electrical company in order for maintenance to be done (for instance in preparation for the fire seasons). We inform our guests of outages as soon as we are made aware but cannot control the time or manner in which this may impact your stay. REFUNDS Should any inconveniences such as those listed above or anything else beyond our control affect your stay, we will not provide refunds. Please understand certain things simply come with the windy, rural, desert location. Thank for understanding! PETS There is a one time, non-refundable pet fee of $80 per pet and no more than 2 dogs are allowed. We kindly request that any pets accompanying your reservation be specified under the "Extras" section. Failure to include this information will result in the pet fee being deducted from your deposit. Thank you for your attention to this matter. REQUIREMENTS Upon booking, you will receive a link with a request to sign and agree to our house rules, verify your identity, pay our refundable security deposit, and schedule a phone call with our manager.
