White Mammoth Ranch

Welcome to the ranch! Established in 2005, the White Mammoth Ranch is a 5 acre ranch with goats and chickens. Designed with the size "mammoth" in mind, this 3 story house is 5,000+ sq. ft. with a 3,000 sq. ft. patio and wrap-around porch. Your hostess, Denise, designed and acted as General Contractor on this ranch. Her wonderful husband, John, grew up in the Central Valley and can help steer your travels.

We are on 5 acres, with plenty of onsite parking available for your RV (110v and water hookup) and personal vehicle.

90 minutes to 3 National Parks: Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite! Two miles from the Madera Wine Trail.

Sharing my life and property with rescued animals has become a full time job full of joy and lessons learned.
 What great teachers they are.
 I began to share the experiences with my animals by offering a unique farm tour called coffee with Critters and I find that I really enjoy sharing this lifestyle with like minded folk.

Your campsite will be nestled among animal enclosures, listen to the munching of hay or the snoring of the pigs.  Your stay will include a modified animal tour and you can engage with horse, alpacas, pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens and more... dogs and cats of course ;). I have a couple of spots but I would be flexible regarding campsite.  My toilet is a compost toilet.  I have a million $$ view and a modest house. My house is about 45 minutes from the Yosemite park entrance and it's an easy commute back/forth. Flowering vines cover my outdoor porches where we have big dinners when Woofers or Couchsurfers are in residence. The property is home to many animals, horse, goats, pigs, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs - dogs & cats - of course! :-) . The roosters wake us up pretty early so fair warning about that - but I love living with them and it makes the property so much more friendly with all the critters. My house is pet friendly and yours are welcome if they are 1. Fixed, 2. Are social and friendly with my pets, 3. Will not chase the cats and chickens. I can babysit your pups if you go to the park - provided they are compliant with rules above. I work from home. There are loads of trails nearby and 2 pretty ponds and plenty of wildlife, deer, turkeys and more. The property is rolling hills however there are plenty of flat areas for tents. NO FIRES PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON MY PROPERTY APRIL-OCTOBER - non negotiable.

In the Sierra Foothills, 28 miles to Yosemite, near Coulterville, Groveland, Sonora, Mariposa. Great for water sports, hiking, swimming and relaxing! Super great for dogs and kids!!2200' elevation. 4WD not needed.Summer temps- 85-100 degrees. Winter- 35-55.45mins to the north/west gate of Yosemite.Private use - 5 acres.Up to 3 dogs (and cats) are included. $50 per after the first 3.Base price is for 2 guests, $30 extra per night per person in addition.Larger groups welcome. Chat us up.The spaceLarge 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath home/cabin with well stocked kitchen (2 fridges, stove/double oven, dishwasher, back deck bbq, sundries), smart tv, fireplace (we have tons of wood), air conditioning and free wifi (works perfectly 99% of the time). Home is one floor with front and back porches.Our unique property is an old working ranch with 35 acres of meadows, an old cabin, barn, natural springs, an inground pool, hot tub and swimming cistern.Our guest house is near the road (you will hear some vehicles) and easily accessible but still very private. Roads are flat and parking easy.You have full and private access to the house, hot tub and pool areas. Clothing optional. Near the pools, there is an outdoor shower, bbq area, sink, lounge chairs, covered and sunny areas.Each morning around 8a, we will be at the pools for cleaning. Other than that, you have complete privacy.Our pools are not heated (and do not have the ability to be heated) and are covered in the winter months (November to April).Extra large living and dining room. 2 couches, 2 large dining room tables, smart tv, bluetooth speaker, games, pub table.Most of our beds have Casper Mattresses. And this will make you very happy!Bedroom 1: 1 queen with private bathroom(shower)Bedroom 2: 1 queen and 1 twin bunkbedBedroom 3: 1 queen and 1 twin bunkbedBathrooms 1&2: sink, shower and toiletBathroom 3: sink and toiletWe provide all bedding, towels, kitchen basics and paper goods. The ranch is solar-powered (not off-grid) with an artesian well and septic system. Please use biodegradable products for your showers and washing.Our property is great for dogs. Up to 3 at no extra costs. If you want to bring more chat us up. The 5 acres around the guest house are fenced but in front and at the driveway it's open. We have horses, deer, turkeys, barn cats... roaming around and we have farm dogs enclosed at our house.Our base price is for 2 guests, $30 extra per night per person in addition.When writing us, let us know that you have read the full description of our space.
