We have nearly 10 acres just outside of the town of Hayfork with gorgeous mountain views, Carr creek flowing seasonally, and quiet solitude. The milky way is visible at night in a sky of a billion stars far from big city lights, well above the hustle and bustle. Located on a quiet road, our driveway is just beyond where the pavement ends. We have a barn with a full one bedroom apartment with patio located on top. We have room for your RV, Camper and boat. Make yourself at home!

You can make yourself at home in the barn loft apartment and park your camper or RV. We do not offer water or power for RV's and campers at this time.

Eel River Escape

This property is conveniently located in historic highway 101. It's 4.5 terraced acres overlooking the south fork Eel River. It is adjacent to the Reggae on the River and Northern Nights festival sites. It's less than a mile from the tourist attraction One Log house and Richardson Grove state park. The property is a permitted educational cannabis farm implementing regenerative agriculture practices.We have several accommodation options! You can stay in our fully furnished bell tent tucked away in a charming garden. It has a full bed with foam topper, charge station, lounge chair, fan or heater, wireless speaker, and wifi. The property has hot outdoor shower and viewing bluff overlooking Eel river. Enjoy convenient hwy 101 location close to state park and dispensary. Wake up, dine and stroll in this dreamy garden! We also have camping and  RV sites that have morning shade, and epic views and two levels of camping area.

Heartwood Mountain Sanctuary

The Heartwood Institute has a rich, 40 year history. Once a massage/mystic school, we are flowing into the 21st Century as the Heartwood Mountain Sanctuary.

 A space for contemplation, meditation, and retreat from the mundane.

 A venue for events, in the rugged hills of Northern California, at the heart of the Emerald Triangle.

 Rooms, classrooms, campsites, sauna, spa, hot tub, saline pool, community kitchen, are all available to campers. Our strawbale temple is always open as a place to pray or meditate. During summer months and for larger events we open the Lodge, with a full commercial kitchen, with incredible vegetarian food.

25 rustic campsites spread across 200 acres, in Northern California, at the heart of the Emerald Triangle. 

Heartwood Mountain Sanctuary has a communal kitchen, world class sauna, spa, hot tub, and saline pool.  Meals and events in the main lodge at some times. The campsites are rough, basically a place in the woods to put your tent, but the communal facilities are luxurious.  

The road getting here is the most challenging part of the whole experience.  Plenty of people live out here with Prius's — but they know how to drive dirt roads. Inexperienced drivers should have a vehicle with good ground clearance, or 4WD. 

Please note that prices are per person and include access to sauna, hot tub, spa, and pool.

Was a crazy drive up the mountain, but the view was worth the trip! And I loved the property, all the people were amazing. Make sure to get there before dark and there isn't any service so make sure to have a plan before you get there!

Humboldt Hills Experience

2-wheel drive accessible 2 miles up a dirt road. This is an example of a back to the land movement homestead.  You can grab an apple, pear, plum, and some eggs.  Drive through majestic redwoods and above as you ascend the 2 miles of dirt road to get here.  There is much political, musical, and environmental history behind this land which we can share when you arrive.

Salmon Creek RV Camping

There are Four RV Spaces with 30 Amp Hookup and water. Five campsites each with Fire rings and Non potable water (Fire Control) on 27 acres surrounded by beautiful scenery, redwoods, mountains, and river. We have fast Starlink internet. Community kitchen with all the supplies, charcoal bbq, fireplace, picnic tables.

Only 5 minutes from highway 101 and 10 minutes from the famous Avenue of the Giants. The roads to the property are all paved. We are a short drive to the river.

The place is in the heart of the Redwoods, surrounded with National redwood parks. Historical towns Miranda, Ferndale, Eureka, and others. It is very quiet and peaceful up here, if you want a wonderful place to kick back, enjoy nature, and have an escape from the busy city life, this is the spot for you! You will be enchanted by visiting this area! Some of the most beautiful places on earth right here in the California Redwoods.

Inside is a queen size latex memory foam mattress, couch, and coffee table with storage drawers.

If you’re a nature lover, Humboldt county has endless beauty to behold. It is home to the tallest trees on the planet. It boasts majestic cliffs overlooking the ocean. Crystal clear rivers and pebble beaches meander through its rolling hillsides. There are lagoons to kayak in, dunes and forests to hike in, rivers and beaches to swim in, and gorgeous camp sites to relax in.Our small family farm invites you to camp in utter luxury under a canopy of redwoods. Located just 10 mins outside of Garberville in a redwood valley, we offer two glamping sites that have everything you need to enjoy nature in style. One of the sites is called The Orchard. You can drive your car right up to. The other requires climbing stairs to the top of a hill. We call that one The Knoll. About us: We are 4 adults who have lived on this land growing our own food and medicine for over 20 years. Our land is off-grid, but we have a robust solar and hydro energy system. We take great pride in stewarding this beautiful land and farm responsibly and would love the opportunity to show it off to you. We are also happy to share our secrets on the best forest hikes, the best swimming holes, the best beaches, the best restaurants and anything else you would like to know about Humboldt.House rules: Smoking is permitted but nowhere near or in the tent. Fires are only permitted during the wet season.For everyone's safety, we do not allow outside pets on the farm. 

The Orchard Site has a 16ft diameter round tent, privacy fencing, an outdoor kitchenette with a 2 burner propane stove, table, and shade structure.

Nothing beats stargazing in a hot tub! Feel free to use it between the hours of 7am-10am and 7pm - 10pm.  

The tent is well shaded except at high noon. 

There are dozens of trails through old-growth redwood forests nearby. 

The kitchenette comes with a 2-burner propane stove. We supply the propane. There are pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, can opener, wine bottle opener, cutting boards, coffee, tea, sugar and a french press. 

The tent is well shaded until about noon. The afternoon sun warms the tent for a cozy bedtime temperature. 

The coffee table has 3 large drawers for your personal items.
