The front of my property is very flat and grassy, from the creek fence to the front side of my house. Mature trees that line my property provide nice shade in the spring and summer, however, the property is open air. The stars are spectacular. There is no light pollution. (once it is dark, you can't see your hand in front of your face) This is a small town of about 2000 people or so. There are quite a few shops as well as a grocery store, hardware store, a couple auto stores as well as a couple dealerships. There is a drive through coffee shop as well as a couple drug stores available in town. There are 3 to 5 different repair shops around. There is a beautiful golf course, 5-8 minutes away, just around the corner. . I live in a peaceful and extremely tranquil spot here. A good hideaway, if thats what you’re looking for. Hide away and recoup before your next big adventure. There are a few kids around that love to ride their ATVs, bikes, walk, skateboard and skate up and down Conniebrook Lane. We have bike rally's coming through town often, in the summer. Mt. View, AR, the bluegrass music capitol of the world is about 45 minutes away. Beautiful drive, to get there. Scenic overlooks on the way. Wheelchair Accessibility: I am sure any electric wheelchair would have no problem going over the grass area anywhere they wanted to go in the camping area. I hope if there are any issues, it would be brought to my attention and I would make it accommodating, immediately.. I am extremely handy and mechanical.

We loved camping at Michelle’s land Rocky Creek Campground! The grounds were immaculate and the views were simply spectacular. From the mountains with river view, to the lake view, to the trails. Something for your eyes!!! Michelle and her husband were very nice and welcoming with us. Michelle greeted us at the entry and showed us around. The amenities were great! We camp with a 13ft travel trailer and usually set up our own bathroom/showering tent. However we found the outhouse very charming and fell in love with the outdoor showering rooms! Very quiet and peaceful campsite. Great for star gazing. Campsites are spacious and the lake is something to behold. We cannot wait to book again and spend more time!!!

We stayed here some nights when we first purchased this magnificent property. We fell in love with this view and the almost constant breeze.

Michelle was incredible. This is the second time I’ve been here and both have been an incredible experience. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure we had what we needed. She even took my kids to go see and pet their sheep. Highly recommended for families or even singles.

Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

It was my first time tent camping. Was a bit nervous on night one but by night two I was so content. It was beautiful there. I was very thankful that the fire pit came with a griddle already. Ok so back to the first night, I was actually pretty terrified, I was trying to sound tough up above, it was SO dark. The road I had to go down to get to the campsite looked like they wanted me to end it all, but apparently i was just nervous and dramatic. It is steep, it is rocky, DEFINITELY wouldn’t recommend any small cars on that road but it was worth it! The stars were SO beautiful, there were so many, makes me wonder where those stars be hiding at when I look up at the sky at my house🤔 Your camera can not capture the true beauty of that sight so take a mental picture too, and keep it! We were by a creek which was a plus because I love a big body of water. The first night (in my head) it was surely the seen from a horror movie that I survived to be able to tell you that you MUST go experience it for yourself. I finally got to heat up a can of beans on a open fire out in the wood to eat because I was hungry, im not sure if I felt like an accomplished homeless person or the winner of Naked and afraid. Either way it was pretty dope. Oh so if you’re no lumber jack then I suggest you get the bundle of firewood. First night had to fend for myself, It was fun looking for the wood but it was all damp and wouldn’t stay lit. Beautiful scenery, 100/10 recommend, what are you waiting for??

I stayed for my 2nd time in 2 weeks, this weekend. And I plan to go back next weekend, too. It's only about an hour away from home for me, and I enjoy the solitude. Even though this site is fairly close to the road and to someone else's private property, it still is plenty private. It's out in the country, but also only about 15 minutes from food, fuel, and groceries.

We enjoyed our time at Camp Toasty! We were the only ones in the area. This is truly a DIY camp experience. We enjoyed fishing in the river, playing on the playground and hiking around. We plan to return in the future. This was our first Hip Camp experience. We did not receive the bundles of firewood nor could we access the bin at the gate so will likely bring our own next time. Thank you for hosting a wonderful and relaxing experience. On to more adventures!

I was looking for a cool place to solo camp, and I sure found it! I stayed last night, cancelled another reservation at a different place, and reserved my site here again for an additional night! This place is pretty awesome, and I don't want to leave. But, I'll be back soon! There's plenty to explore here, and the host encouraged me to do so. The hogs on the property are neat, too. Both are friendly. The one with the tusks looks scary, but he's a big ol baby. The creek is amazing! But don't try driving down to it in a regular sedan or if you don't know what you're doing. Ive been down there and back 3 times since yesterday in my Subaru Outback, and even that can be tricky. If you try it in a Corolla or something, you're gonna ruin your own day. I haven't figured out how to operate the shower yet, but it has a tankless water heater on it and I could really use a hot shower. But, I'm fine with stinking. Because I love it here. John has been very responsive and has offered some good suggestions of things to do while I'm here! I'd give it a personal 10/10 if I can get that shower, so for now I'll go a solid 8.5/10. If you're not a big baby, you can camp here just fine!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible Stay at Rocky Creek Ranch! Our stay at Rocky Creek Ranch, hosted by Michelle, was nothing short of amazing. The views of Harper’s Cove on Greer’s Ferry Lake are absolutely breathtaking — the kind that make you stop and just soak it all in. We brought our 25-foot travel trailer and had zero issues getting in or out. The site offered plenty of space, giving us room to spread out and relax. Michelle has thought of everything for campers’ comfort: clean showers with very hot water, towels provided, and even extra touches that make the experience feel special. One of the highlights was their beautiful man-made lake with crystal-clear water. We enjoyed the paddleboards and kayaks, and the nicely built floating dock — complete with a tiki bar-style umbrella and seating area — made for the perfect spot to unwind. Michelle was an incredibly accommodating host, making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better camping experience and will definitely be back!

Lovely, well care for spacious property with lake view and a private pond. Easy place for campers who seek privacy to find it here. Host was welcoming upon arrival and appreciated the helpful communication. Just two miles down the road found an old boat ramp that some people continue to use and place to access the lakes shoreline.

3 nights at Barnyard Camping Experience

We had the best stay at Sherita's site! The camper was adorable and stayed cool and comfortable even during a severe heat warning! The bed and cushions at the table were both super comfortable and we slept great. Sherita was the best host! From fresh eggs, the cutest coffee bar with fresh coffee in the barn each morning, and wonderful conversation, she had it all! We loved taking with her and learning about and interacting with her animals. The outdoor shower had fantastic water pressure and was private enough that you didn't feel exposed. The site is perfectly located for whatever you want to do. We were able to drive to Petit Jean for hiking, to Morrilton for food or supplies, or a little further to Conway for shopping and fun. We HIGHLY recommend staying here and can't wait to see what the future holds for this site and Sherita!

3 nights at Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

We stayed 3 nights at Camp Toasty #3 and had a fantastic time! The campground is full of family-friendly fun—ninja hurdles, a playground, zipline, beaches, pet pigs, and great fishing spots. Our kids (3 and 7) had a blast exploring and playing all day. We hiked to both Little B and Big B waterfalls—both were stunning! Just a heads-up: Big B is a steep, rocky climb and not ideal for small kids. Little B was much more accessible and still beautiful. Though canoeing wasn’t possible due to high water levels, the thoughtful owner set out boats, paddles, and PFDs on a nearby slough so the kids could try kayaking. It was such a kind gesture. The hosts were incredibly welcoming—provided directions, clean water, a fan for the heat, and even treats for our dog! They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restrooms were clean, and there was so much to explore—we never ran out of things to do. Highly recommend Camp Toasty #3 for a fun, peaceful, and adventure-filled family getaway. We’d love to come back!
