The gates will be open to Williams Rock Area by noon of your arrival. It's primitive camping, so find your own "spot" on the property, respect the privacy of others at their "spots". First come first serve on each spot. The camp spots are not graveled, leveled, etc.. just the bare earth. The majority of this property is the woods, open fields, rough terrain, etc. So you will experience all Nature has to offer. Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. The camp host from April 27 - July 1st is on call for guests needs, but is not on site. Checkout time is by Noon. Check in is at 2:00 pm. Weekend Trip to Valley of peace campground

This was hands down the best camping ever!! We had such a great time. The creek was beautiful, the campsite so well groomed, and the host was so friendly. We did tent camping and enjoyed the fire pit, there was also a grill for our convenience. I would come back to this campsite or any other with this host again and again! Bonus was finding a cave, exploring the terrain and hearing the coyotes at night. Five stars!!

This place really is a Valley of peace! We enjoyed camping on the creek, fishing, exploring the land and the cave right next to our site! Walter was amazing and checked up on us once a day. We also love the mountainous area and Jasper is a really cute town. We didn't want to leave but will for sure be back to enjoy more of the views!

Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

It was my first time tent camping. Was a bit nervous on night one but by night two I was so content. It was beautiful there. I was very thankful that the fire pit came with a griddle already. Ok so back to the first night, I was actually pretty terrified, I was trying to sound tough up above, it was SO dark. The road I had to go down to get to the campsite looked like they wanted me to end it all, but apparently i was just nervous and dramatic. It is steep, it is rocky, DEFINITELY wouldn’t recommend any small cars on that road but it was worth it! The stars were SO beautiful, there were so many, makes me wonder where those stars be hiding at when I look up at the sky at my house🤔 Your camera can not capture the true beauty of that sight so take a mental picture too, and keep it! We were by a creek which was a plus because I love a big body of water. The first night (in my head) it was surely the seen from a horror movie that I survived to be able to tell you that you MUST go experience it for yourself. I finally got to heat up a can of beans on a open fire out in the wood to eat because I was hungry, im not sure if I felt like an accomplished homeless person or the winner of Naked and afraid. Either way it was pretty dope. Oh so if you’re no lumber jack then I suggest you get the bundle of firewood. First night had to fend for myself, It was fun looking for the wood but it was all damp and wouldn’t stay lit. Beautiful scenery, 100/10 recommend, what are you waiting for??

I stayed for my 2nd time in 2 weeks, this weekend. And I plan to go back next weekend, too. It's only about an hour away from home for me, and I enjoy the solitude. Even though this site is fairly close to the road and to someone else's private property, it still is plenty private. It's out in the country, but also only about 15 minutes from food, fuel, and groceries.

I was looking for a cool place to solo camp, and I sure found it! I stayed last night, cancelled another reservation at a different place, and reserved my site here again for an additional night! This place is pretty awesome, and I don't want to leave. But, I'll be back soon! There's plenty to explore here, and the host encouraged me to do so. The hogs on the property are neat, too. Both are friendly. The one with the tusks looks scary, but he's a big ol baby. The creek is amazing! But don't try driving down to it in a regular sedan or if you don't know what you're doing. Ive been down there and back 3 times since yesterday in my Subaru Outback, and even that can be tricky. If you try it in a Corolla or something, you're gonna ruin your own day. I haven't figured out how to operate the shower yet, but it has a tankless water heater on it and I could really use a hot shower. But, I'm fine with stinking. Because I love it here. John has been very responsive and has offered some good suggestions of things to do while I'm here! I'd give it a personal 10/10 if I can get that shower, so for now I'll go a solid 8.5/10. If you're not a big baby, you can camp here just fine!

The spring fed Cave Creek will take your breath away (in all the ways). May valley of peace be with you !! Our family of 4 (6yo and 9yo in tow) stayed in Creek side camp spot, all the way at the end of the lane. Wait until you see it, it’s PERFECT! Boxes checked: -Safe Private spot -we were completely secluded back there, only saw Walter when he was checking if we needed anything. -Space to sprawl out -we use and 10person tent, have double clothes line, and 2 fires when we camp -wood to gather -fire is life -cool rocks -solid hours of entertainment -Waterfront -blue! crystal clear, clean & Crispy! (Cleansed my soul in that water, whew!) -Incredible views; I can’t say enough about this.. (Mt Judea is geographical God wink) -we saw caves (don’t forget your head lamp) -went hiking (don’t forget your water) -had fun going around the property but my favorite was sitting still and listening to the whippoorwill (don’t forget your hammock). Thanks for the upgrade, wood bundle and stickers for the kids. ☮️

Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

I got to pick a tent site that suited my needs when I arrived, which made the 2-day stay all that more comfortable. John is an affable host, and a wonderful, conscientious steward of the land he shares with the public. I enjoyed the time he took to chat with me and entice me to paddle down the creek. My dog and I had a very successful first time experience in the water and it was easier than I thought and sensuous way to spend a half day in nature. 10 Stars

It was a cozy cabin that had everything we needed and the hot tub was a nice bonus as well. We also enjoyed the trip through the farm to see all of the animals they raise.

3 nights at Valley of peace campground

We spent three nights at the site across the creek and it was amazing. The host is kind and very helpful. The creek is beautiful with crystal clear water and lots of good spots for fishing. The stargazing is absolutely incredible. We can’t wait to go back

2 nights at The Buffalo Farm

We loved our stay at the Buffalo Farm cabin 1! It was exactly as pictured and went above and beyond our expectations. Star gazing while in the hot tub was unbelievable! We also saw a fox in the field behind the cabin. The cabin was in a great location - in the quiet countryside, but not too remote. An added bonus was LC’s tour of his farm. It was fun to see the animals (some close up) but our favorite was getting to feed the buffalo. LC is an amazing host and took care to make sure we had an awesome stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to 1440 Dreamland

Wow, what an amazing place! The scenery and caves were like something out of a movie. There was so much to experience and explore. Two days was not near enough time to fully appreciate it. Joe, the host, was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of. Absolutely exceptional experience and would love to come back!
