Here’s a review you could leave for campsite #11: ⸻ We loved our stay at campsite #11! The site is surrounded by plenty of trees that offer great shade throughout the day. Tanners Pool Trail was absolutely beautiful and well maintained—perfect for a peaceful hike. The ground at the campsite was soft but firm enough to set up easily, and we were impressed with how clean the outhouses were and how close they were to camp. Having a water source nearby to fill up was super convenient, and we appreciated the firewood available at the little “store.” We were the only ones there during our stay, so it felt very private and quiet, which we loved. We enjoyed fishing—didn’t catch much, but it was still a relaxing experience. The host was incredibly fast and responsive, which made everything smoother. Just a heads up: the road in is pretty rough. It’s manageable going down, but the ride back up is definitely bumpy. That said, we made it just fine in a front wheel drive vehicle. Highly recommend for a peaceful, well-equipped nature getaway!

Super nice owner! Came to check on us and gave us a few fold out tables to use and showed us where the potable water was. Got rained out for the whole weekend but will definitely go back!

This place is serene and peaceful just as its name Valley of Peace. Beautiful creek and views. Walk along the creek or take a dip in the cool refreshing clear water. Walter is an excellent host, making sure you are felt welcome.

Weekend Trip to 1440 Dreamland

MY Boyfriend and my little westie dog, Remy had an amazing time at 1440 Dreamland. It truly is an amazing property. I love all the caves and rock structures. I have never seen anything like it anywhere before. Joe goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and does what he can to accommodate throughout the trip. And drove down and checked on us every morning. He is a fun guy with a big personality. And we will definitely be returning to this wonderful place with all the beauty and R&R it has to offer. We spent three nights at the site across the creek and it was amazing. The host is kind and very helpful. The creek is beautiful with crystal clear water and lots of good spots for fishing. The stargazing is absolutely incredible. We can’t wait to go back

FIVE STAR REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed 5 nights on Mount Judea with my boys at Valley of Peace campground. The longer we were there, the more friends came to camp and visit. I cannot say enough amazing things about this beautiful place and the owners. All sites are along cave creek on Mount Judea. All sites can accommodate large groups (14 max). My favorite sites are 7, 8 (mine), and 9. These are at the swimming holes (I will be back this summer to swim). There is a small cave to explore on the property. The boys caught plenty of fish. We rafted. It was PERFECT!! At $23 a night, with WIFI (sketchy), potable water, fresh farm eggs can be purchased and delivered to your site, as well as, bundled firewood. We planned on driving to the Buffalo, but loved it so much, we never left. The nature was all around us, with horses and cows and stunning butterflies. If you want to camp Arkansas with your family or friends, Valley of Peace is a true experience.

I picked site 3, and enjoyed my time immensely. Camped for 2 weeks. I have a bigger canvas bell tent and found enough flat space for it. Sites 1-4 & 7&8 get the earlier morning sun. 5&6 are right along the creek and are shaded a little more in the morning, The water was cool and refreshing and the mountains surrounding were nice to climb in. It’s a very beautiful area.

We loved it here! The area was beautiful and we hiked all over. There was a small playground area the kids enjoyed playing at. The little outhouses were nice as well. There were numerous campsites to choose from.

2 nights at The Buffalo Farm

We loved our stay at the Buffalo Farm cabin 1! It was exactly as pictured and went above and beyond our expectations. Star gazing while in the hot tub was unbelievable! We also saw a fox in the field behind the cabin. The cabin was in a great location - in the quiet countryside, but not too remote. An added bonus was LC’s tour of his farm. It was fun to see the animals (some close up) but our favorite was getting to feed the buffalo. LC is an amazing host and took care to make sure we had an awesome stay. Can’t wait to go back!

My group could not believe we found a place like this! It was our first time using HipCamp and Walter was a fantastic host. He was very accommodating with a couple things out of his control (rain,wind,etc...) and gave us some free ice and other stuff! We enjoyed our first night so much we decided to book another. Site 6 was by far our favorite, the babbling brook was so peaceful. Be careful, the nearest (actual) grocery store is about 35 minutes away, and it is a dry county. Do with that what you will... Thank you so much Walter!

Wow, what an amazing place! The scenery and caves were like something out of a movie. There was so much to experience and explore. Two days was not near enough time to fully appreciate it. Joe, the host, was fantastic and made sure we were taken care of. Absolutely exceptional experience and would love to come back!

Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park lies within a private nature reserve of hiking trails, waterfalls, bluffs, cascading streams and wildlife -- it is all here. The campground is off the radar -- there are no highway signs or advertisements -- yet offers comfortable and safe refuge to guests whether staying in a tent, camper, RV or one of our cabins. On site you can find swimming, paddling, fishing, hiking, a 6-acre foraging field, and 9-hole Frisbee golf course, a Ninja rope course with zipline and slackline, rope swing, bouldering, climbing, psicobloc and more outdoor pursuits than one has time. And Woolly Hollow State Park, Cove Creek Natural Heritage Area, and Greer's Ferry Lake all lie within biking distance. New to camping? Need a flush toilet, kitchen sink and faucet? Hate bugs, thorns or wild critters? Steep rough roads? Dust and gravel? Or simply don't like being outside in the weather and in a primitive setting? Then this is NOT the place for you!! NO! NO! NO! But if you want to sneak away and find a lovely little place to unwind and bathe in a forest under a tall canopy of standing pines and oak trees, then Pinnacle Springs is where you need to be. Pinnacle Springs offers stream side camping on the banks of the North Fork of Cadron Creek -- central Arkansas' premier whitewater stream -- and is less than an hour's drive from Little Rock (only 15 minutes from Conway and I-40). Camp by the side of a river. Camp at the foot or atop a towering bluff. Camp in a cave. Camp in a riparian jungle. Camp in total solitude or camp with all your friends and family. We offer so many choices one can select a site that perfectly fits your needs. And if you want total seclusion -- a real "wilderness experience" and are willing to "hike-in" a couple of hundred paces we can provide that too. FYI: If you are unaccustomed to STEEP dirt roads do NOT reserve a site on the island -- sites atop the ridge in Camp Toasty are much easier to access. No traffic noise here! Rather, you'll be soothed by the sound of cascading water echoing off the bluffs -- great for outdoor sleeping and keeping the air fresh and alive. Many of the camp sites are equipped with a heavy picnic table, fire pit and grill, lamp post and level tent site. And if you like to swing -- we have trees! Hammocks and slack lines are the best no trace tree things ever! And although Pinnacle Springs Campground lies in an off-the-grid wilderness setting there is good cell phone service, a water hydrant can be found near the front gate behind the store, and electrical outlets for recharging phones and such can be found on the ridge at nearby Camp Toasty. And from March through November hot water showers are even freely available. Guests are encouraged to explore any of the trails that crisscross the property especially if you like waterfalls, scenic views, cascading streams, and goat trail bluffs. The Tanner Pool Trail is especially popular after a heavy rain, Bluff Trail offers a nice perch for viewing the river below, and the 1+ mile "Circuit Trail" is a great way to start one's day. Our place is a bit rough, rugged and unruly yet we call it home -- a place where everyone regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, political views, religion, national origin, or culture is welcomed to come enjoy nature's marvelous works and wonders. We love everyone!! So we invite you to come down to the Cadron and sit a spell. Unwind. Kick back. And enjoy! CELL PHONE COVERAGE: While we recommend that you leave your cell phones at home or packed away we also understand the importance of "staying in touch". Overall cell phone coverage throughout the watershed is pretty good BUT there are a few deep bluff-lined valleys on the creek where one may lose a signal from time to time -- either walk around the bend or to higher ground and you'll usually find a signal. Nevertheless our evaluation: VERIZON - Seemingly good signal everywhere. AT&T -- Good in campground but a couple of "weak spots" both upstream and downstream (taller bluffs). T-MOBILE - Good signal atop the ridge but close to nothing on the creek, USCellular - The worst. Those camping close to store are invited to connect to our local area wifi signal -- CadronBoy. BTW#1: We don't take kindly to folks trashing our property. We are a "LEAVE NO TRACE FACILITY" thus if you bring it, you take it! Best to also leave axes, shovels and hammer and nails at home. Thanks. BTW#2: This is DIY camping! If you are one of those people that has a "hard time figuring it out on your own" we strongly encourage you to stay elsewhere. There are a lot of nice campgrounds in Arkansas that are more accessible, better staffed, and have some really nice amenities.
