Group trip
Came to Shiloh Ranch with four friends on a road trip this past week and it was by far our best stop.
Sandee offered us kindness and hospitality, helped us with directions to our next destination, and informed us about the nature around us.
The casita itself was well stocked with plenty of blankets, cooking supplies, and seasonings
The property was stunning and we had a blast looking at the night sky and rummaging around looking for petrified wood
I could not recommend this place enough.

Sandee was so helpful and kind. She called me even though we got in super late to explain where everything is. The space was clean and well oragnized- kitchen stocked with supplies and utensils if your lacking. We will 100% be coming back !

We loved staying here. It was quiet, the sunsets and stars are like nothing else. Sandee is super nice and has a gorgeous property.. easy to find. Over all a really pleasant place, we'd definitely stay again.

Sandee’s guesthouse at Shiloh Ranch was an amazing weekend getaway from the city. The upstairs was perfect for our teenage son and his friend to watch movies, play guitar, and just enjoy downtime. There was also plenty of space for them to explore the property and toss a football around. The guesthouse had everything we needed to cook meals inside or out on the grill. The location was beautiful and not a long drive from the Petrified Forest!

Weekend Trip to Shiloh Ranch Guesthouse
The Casita was perfect for my husband and me. It is close to the South Entrance of the Petrified National Forest Park (maps might be taking you to the North Entrance). The patio with the fire pit is where we spent most of our evening grilling, playing Trivia for Dummies, and stargazing. Cooked a nice breakfast in the quaint little kitchen that had everything you needed (and more) to prepare food. Sandee was very helpful and had a lot of great suggestions/info about the park. Even though the park entrance closes at 5pm this time of year, you can still stay in the park until 6:30 in case you get a later start.

My family of four loved staying at the Shiloh Guest House during our visit to the Petrified Forest National Park. Our two young cousins enjoyed having the top floor and deck to themselves, plus having the opportunity to chop wood, build a fire, and gaze at the stars. Sandee has filled the guesthouse with all manner of entertainment, including books, board games, and DVD's. The kitchen has everything (including Nutribullet, electric grill, oatmeal, spices, and s'mores roasting tongs) but a microwave.
We didn't understand the layout of the guesthouse until we arrived. Each story has a tiny restroom in the center (right in front of the door), with small rooms on either side. The first floor contains the primary bedroom with full bed and the kitchen/dining area. The second floor contains the room with the two twin-sized beds and then a living room/lounge area that could allow for two additional small guests.
Be aware that the restrooms are a TIGHT squeeze, more suited for slim families. The first floor has a shower less than 3 x 3, with a large step. The second floor does not have a shower, so everyone will shower on the first floor. But the tankless water heater provides nice hot showers.
