Your spot does have privacy and seclusion but the neighboring dogs tend to bark at noises and not much we can do to keep that from happening. They are contained on their property and not aggressive. Only 2 miles from "Buckshot Speedway", dirt track fans can enjoy the ultimate weekend. Less than 30 minutes from Talladega National Forest making a great place for hunters. Campsites are approximately 40' x 40' allowing plenty of room for tents, overlanders, car or hammock camping. Extra amenities, depending on availability, at additional cost, such as towels, all natural bug deterrent body wash, all natural bug deterrent laundry detergent, firewood, fire pit, fire starters, bbq grill, etc. Additional options are subject to change and highly recommended to submit request ahead of arrival to help better assist you. We recently added an outdoor building with washer and dryer, bathroom/changing room, outdoor shower AND a hot tub that overlooks the lake. There is a public boat launch just down the road along with lakefront restaurants and boat rental establishments nearby. There are multiple convenient stores, grocery stores, a Dollar General and even a hardware store just down the road.
At this time, we are allowing guests to camp in our RV on-site (what we call "transient occupancy").

Wonderful rest stop. Very peaceful with minimal bugs. The site was nicely laid out, complete with fire wood, string lights and a table. I didn't actually meet the host but he was very quick to respond via phone to a minor problem( I got lost) The gps coordinates will take you right there. Would definitely recommend and stay again when I'm out that way!
