Nunn is located 30 minutes Northeast of Fort Collins, and is considered a prairie landscape, even though mountains are a short driving distance away. Living on the prairie comes with its challenges - mostly with its strong winds that we can get on occasion. Please keep this in mind.
You're welcome to walk around the ranch and view the animals, we ask that you DO NOT enter the corrals. If you happen to be here in the spring, this is when you will find new calf's! Oh so fun!!
We are a dog friendly ranch and love dogs ourselves. We have 5 friendly pups of our own. Feel free to bring yours along!
We have some outstanding sunsets, lots of open space and plenty of fresh air. We also have fantastic mountain views to the west.
There's many things to do in this area, just to mention a few - Lory State Park, Horsetooth Reservoir, Pawnee National Grasslands - specifically the Pawnee Buttes, Also great restaurants/brewery's in Wellington as well as many choices in Old Town Fort Collins - as well as many shops and boutiques.

Beyond words a-mazing
A-MAZING!!! The sheep wagon was perfect and adorable! The bed was comfortable and did not feel like I was in a sheep wagon. Shannon was amazing and such a great host! I HIGHLY recommend this site hosted by Shannon! Absolutely beautiful area!!!!
My family and I had a great experience, and we hope to return. The sheep wagon was lovely and comfortable. The land was beautiful and quiet. Shannon, the host, was very accommodating and friendly. And, finally, my kids and I loved seeing all the animals on the property and admiring the beautiful garden next to the wagon.
The sheep wagon is place where you feel as if you are back in time. The wagon was clean and very comfortable to sleep in. Shannon was a great host! We forgot a lighter for our camp stove and she was gracious enough to let us borrow one. There is also a great view of the sunset and sunrise. We enjoyed watching the family work the ranch with the horses and cows. Highly recommend trying this experience!
Shannon was very welcoming and friendly. I would have loved to stay but cancelled at the last minute - simply wanted to drive the last leg of a week-long trip and get into my own bed. Shannon was exceptionally welcoming, and understanding of my last-minute change in plans!
We had an amazing stay at Silent P Ranch. The cows came up to meet us for coffee at the picnic table in the morning and Shannon was a great host. The vintage Shepard wagon was comfortable and cozy.
This is such a beautiful spot! The directions were great and it was easy to locate. The scenery was amazing with stunning gardens and animals such as horses, cattle and dogs. The sheep wagon was so cute! Shannon was so welcoming and such a great host!
