RADZ Retreat is our personal get away and we long to be good stewards of the land and share it with you. There are 2 full RV hooks ups with 30, 50, and 20 Amps each with water and dump. There is also 1 dry camping spot and you can use water and dump on site. There are 35 acres to hike and watch wildlife. We are a short 5 min drive to Lathrop and into Walsenburg. There is a 200 ft elevation hike to enjoy beautiful views of the Spanish Peaks and Cuchara river valley. Be on the look out for elk, deer, turkey and more.

Site 2 is to the right (northeast) side of RV area (marked with #2). It is a pull through site with full hookups (Water, dump, 20/30/50 amp electric). Turn right off of CR 346 onto a black rock road. Keep straight on the rock road (staying to the left of the RV area). Drive between two small trees then make a right turn to drive around the circle drive. This will bring you to the northeast side of the RV area. You will now be facing the rock road you drove in on. Your hookups will now be on the driver's side.

Site 1 is to the left (southwest) side of RV area. It is a pull through site with full hookups (Water, dump, 20/30/50 amp electric). Pull up the black, rock road straight to the left (southwest) side of the RV area. The hook ups (marked #1) and two trees will be on your driver's side. As you leave, first back up so you have enough room to drive forward and turn left around the circle drive. This will bring you around the trees and will direct you back down the black, rock road to make a left onto the county road.

RV Dry Camping Site 3

Site 3 is a dry camping, back-in spot to the right (east) side of the black rock drive way. The back of the site is marked with two blue reflectors and #3. Turn right off of CR 346. Pull up the drive way staying to the left of the main RV area. Drive between 2 small trees and then turn right to follow the circle drive. Very carefully drive between the two campsites. Then turn left and drive back down the rock road toward the county road. Once you pass site #3, fully back into the site. Be sure your vehicles are off the road and on the site pad. Keep vehicles off the main rock drive way.

Had a great experience here, highly recommend! Very pretty views, we saw lots of wildlife- turkeys daily, and deer and elk. Listening to the elk bugle was fabulous! The stars at night were awesome. Debbie was so nice and helpful, gave lots of info for the area, too. We caught La Veta during their Oktoberfest (always the first Saturday of Oct) and had so much fun- dogs welcome! Quiet convenient spot for the area. Walked the dog around the property and on the road. This was a perfect spot for us- felt like we were home (except it was thousands of feet higher in elevation and had ELK!) hookups worked great too. Thanks Debbie for letting us try your place, it was perfect for us!

This was a peaceful and beautiful camp site. Full hook ups were wonderful to have. I can't express how much help and kindness we received from the host!! She was wonderful to work with and the communication was immediate. We definitely will jeep it in mind for another trip. 😊

This site was really nice place. About a mile off the main road and so private. The site had all the essentials and it was easy to pull into. We had great views to the east and the west. I would highly recommend it. Scott from Austin.

Great dry camping spot in an area with few options for dry camping. Ryan and Debbie were very communicative and their place was easy to find. Great views of elk grazing across the street. The nearby town of La Veta is very cute and welcoming and it was nice to get tips about the area from the hosts. Quiet. Safe. Friendly. Respectful. Great stop.

Beautiful land. The hosts were very responsive. 5 minutes away from Lathrop State Park. Full hookups were great we had no problem getting our 38ft Fifth wheel in and out and the site was very level. We will definitely be booking this campsite again.

The spectacular scenery. A very peaceful spot, I had some nice visits with a small doe in the area. Very close to a lot of historical/famous sites that can easily be enjoyed on foot or in a vehicle. Has water, electric and “sewage” hook-up available and easy to use.

Super great hosts! Very responsive and friendly. Cool spot. Water, power, and wifi when they get it going! Just outside of Walsenburg and very private. Would stay again for sure! A real Blessing.

Quiet, peaceful, lovely views. Dogs loved being off leash. Full hookups were convenient. Located next to state park with nice hiking trails.

We loved staying on Ryan's property. It was beautiful and very convenient to town and other amenities, while being private. We very much appreciated the full hook-ups. We didn't have any problems driving our Tundra and 26' long trailer onto the property. We happened to be staying there at a time when Ryan and his family were staying in their cabin, and we couldn't have asked for friendlier, more accommodating hosts. They gave us excellent recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. They showed my husband around the property and even let us know when the amazing wildlife was around for a visit. We also met one of their neighbors who was also super friendly! Overall, it was an excellent stay and we hope to come back again soon.

We booked with Ryan at the last minute after a mishap with someone else's site. Ryan was quick to answer and very accommodating, which enabled us to get back to camping and relaxing. His property was beautiful and easy to get to. We were grateful to find it and and would stay there again. Thanks Ryan!

This is a great spot! Beautiful camp spot and really awesome views of the mountains and valley nearby, loved it. The camp site was easy to get set up, hookups were great, and a nice flat site! Thanks for a great stay Radz Retreat we will be back!
