The Duck tent is our latest glamping tent, over looking our duck pond with beautiful views of the mountains. Then there is the Forest tent, it is located in the beautiful trees over looking the duck pond from the tree line . Each tent has a comfy Queen sized bed and both are very private. Just mention in the messenger which tent you would like and we will be sure that you have it booked! Located in the Garnet Mountains of Montana, we offer beautiful views and wildlife viewing all the while providing you with a homestead experience . We offer a homestead tour of our place and enjoy some greens from our gardens and visit our goats and rabbits and purchase some fresh cheese and milk to take back to your tent too . The price includes the use of the wood fired hot tub for an evening soak with a beautiful private view of the mountains and small lake . Enjoy a hand made fresh baked pizza to order from our homestead, 15”for $35 , or just come and relax and enjoy your views We love to share our experiences with our guests! There is also a luxurious outdoor shower to wash off all that campfire smell , as well! Short drive to Twin Lake Trailhead, Georgetown Lake and the Town of Anaconda. Twin Lakes Trailhead(3miles from tipi) open up opportunities to hike into several high alpine lakes and access the Continental Divid Trail. You can hike right off the property onto Forest Service roads and trails. Fishing and boating at Georgetown Lake. A wonderful location between Yellowstone National Park and Glaicer National Park. I'm a outdoor, horse enthusiast doglover Montana woman. I'm sharing my property because this is where I go to unwind and relax. Unload the horse,unload the dog and leave the phone in the truck. The tipi location is in the mountains and primitive road getting to the tipi. Recommend a a high clearance vehicle. Dog friendly tipi please be consider and be a responsible dog owner. Wide open space with natural landscape and amazing view of the Helena Valley and surrounding mountain ranges. This land is undisturbed, aside from the road and parking pull-throughs that have been created for RV parking. Self contained units only and as they say, "Pack it in, pack it out". See what Lewis and Clark traveled through as they made their way west from the Missouri River. Prickly Pear Cactus, sagebrush and natural grasses are prevalent. Helena, the capital of Montana is a mere 20 minute drive, where all the amenities of a small town exist. National Forest abounds to the west and Canyon Ferry Reservoir is 20 minutes to the east. Access to the property is 4.25 miles from Interstate 15. This is a high mountain dessert with an elevation of 4090' above sea level. Average rainfall is 6", so campfires are not allowed due to the dry grasses and sagebrush. Pets are allowed on leashes and quiet time is from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We are located approximately half way between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks.

The RV Park has 10 sites with full hookups. These sites are pull through and most can accommodate large RVs. This is a dog friendly park, please keep your dog on a leash and pick up after your furry friend. Recreation Opportunities Close to the RV Park. The RV Park is within a 15 minute hike of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. The Boulder Hot Springs is approximately a 2-mile drive from the RV Park where you can soak in their pools always heated with thermal water. Fishing access to the Boulder River is a short drive from the RV Park. Access to off road recreation is approximately 2 miles going north or south. Helena Mt. the capital, is a 40-minute drive. Butte Mt. is about a 50-minute drive where you can see all the historic mining era. Boulder MT (RV Park) is halfway between Yellowstone NP and Glacier NP. Wildlife is abundant with mule deer and whitetails. Certain times of the year elk hang out in the hayfields which are adjacent to the park. Views of the mountains are very nice. Explore the Ghost town of Elkhorn 12 miles away. The Boulder Valley is an agricultural landscape, and with that comes Mosquitos. Please be prepared to handle them mostly June-July.

Come prepared! We are in grizzly country , BE BEAR AWARE! All campers need to keep all ice chests and food away from their tents and in their cars when not using them! This is grizzly and black bear country, keep all cooking utensils , dog food and pans , in your vehicle when not in use! Also you pack it in, you pack it out, we do not dump your trash or take care of it for you. Very important to obey the bear rules and our rules for camping on our land to stay safe!
