*Cell Service/Internet: We are located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains right on the South Arkansas River surrounded lots of shady trees, amazing nearby hikes, fishing & much more. This is the perfect environment to relax and be immersed in nature but not so perfect to be fully connected like you are at home as there is no Cell Service provided by any of the large carriers, (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc…). We do provide free WIFI that will help send a text, make a call or check an email, but that is about it. The free WIFI works best near the camp store and some of the closer RV sites. It does not work at all at the tent sites. We highly suggest you bring your own internet (Your personal Starlink will work great here) if you are wanting stay fully connected, work remotely or do other heavy internet tasks. We want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible so please do not come here and have the unrealistic expectation that our free WIFI will meet your streaming, remote working or internet heavy needs.

Enjoy the privacy of this wonderful goat farm situated just northwest of the Overlook Campground in Buena Vista, Colorado. It sits at 8500 feet with spectacular views of the Collegiate Peaks, 10 minutes from downtown Main Street, countless hiking trails, and rafting companies! This property backs up to BLM and connects with the Midland bike trail system. This property is unique due to the close proximity to dairy goats, and the ability to tour the farm if you so choose. Directional rock cairns lead the way to this fun space! Goat tours are available upon request. On occasion the goats free range on the property and may pass by this space. If you want to camp in privacy and enjoy the idea of staying near a working goat farm, with chickens, guinea fowl & a rooster you will likely hear, the ability to quickly get into BLM and hike the many trails then this is place for you!

Creekside Chalets has added 3 Creekside Camping spots all with access to the North Fork of the South Arkansas creek that flows through the property. The sites are located in an aspen grove along the creek with a picnic table provided and room to park one vehicle up to 20 feet long and space for a tent. 30 amp power is provided to each site, a porta-potty within 250 feet and water from a camp spigot. The campsites are pet friendly, $30 per pet per stay, max 2 pets.

The House where we live is the corner stone of the Bruce Property and is on the Colorado Register of Historic Houses.The residence was constructed between 1905 and 1912, using red bricks made on the site. John and Sophia Bruce, early pioneers in the North Fork Valley, were first involved in cattle raising. The family later became successful fruit growers. Located along the West Elk Loop, a Colorado Scenic and Historic Byway, the large two-story residence features a steeply pitched hipped roof with prominent attic dormers.As a guest of Riverwalk you will have full access to the river during your stay. In addition, there is the Riverwalk Trail System that skirts the North Fork of the Gunnison River from the top of the property, by the Riverwalk Yurt, (available on this site) meandering downstream past the Riverwalk TIPI (available on the site) passing the Grove Yurt (available on this site) and terminating at the bottom of the property with the sandy Riverwalk Beach. There is a trial that zigs through the Cottonwood Grove and zags back along the gentle Monitor Ditch skirting a newly planted grove of young trees.For RV Campers we provide 2- 30amp,1-50 amp and 1- 110-amp electrical services and potable water. There is a dump station available. There is also access to our heated shower house with running water and bathroom amenities (<3 min. walk, may be shared with other guests). The property is perfectly geared to groups of friends gathering in a central location between the onset of the Rockies and the termination high desert to the west. Friends or family will reserve both Yurts and the RV Site for a perfect reunion setting!

After traveling the US in our motorhome for almost 5 years my husband Scott and I know the value of a smiling face and a helping hand after a day (or week) of travel. Exploring and experiencing this amazing country, its diversity and incredible people enhanced our lives in so many ways.
In mid 2017 we found out our first grandchild was on the way. Long story short we parked the RV and parked ourselves here in Paonia, CO. In December of that year, we moved onto this amazing property full time and started the long list of fix ups (the list is still long). lol
We are blessed to have our two adult sons and (aforementioned) grandson living on this property with us. Our philosophy is to live in the moment as the present is the gift. Whether enjoying a sunrise or a sunset or anytime in between you’ll likely find us outside most days.
In that, we love all that nature has to offer including fresh fruits and veggies, animals, beauty and fragrances.
Sage View Ranch is being created with the desire to have people experience the natural rustic beauty and magic of Paonia.

The Goodview Campground is the perfect destination for your adventurous travels. It is conveniently located along Highway 285 and the banks of the Arkansas River just south of Buena Vista, CO, with sweeping views of Mt. Princeton and the Sawatch Mountains. Any vehicle can make it to this campground. Depending on weather it can be a big rough, but nothing major. I’ve driven it with my Ford Transit cargo van and a Prius quite easily. Different types of sites depending on if you want to be by the water or not. Clean sites, beautiful area, close to Crested Butte. No water, so be sure to pack in all you need. No bear vaults so take your own or store your food in a hardtop vehicle. Brush up on bear safety, which goes without saying throughout CO!
