The Cider Patch
We loved the openness and views from The Cider Patch site especially the sunset. Walking the drive provided the opportunity to observe a variety of farm animals. The toilet was very clean.

This place has become my favourite year round trip! Between the quiet and the lovely farm, the animals and the adventures you can conquer I SUGGEST COMING BY AND STAYING ! Plus OBVIOUSLY BROOKS AND RUBY the best tour guides you can ask for, so lovable and so welcoming! It's like 10 minutes outside of Woodstock so supplies are easy to come by and the market they have makes it even better for farm fresh foods!!! Highly suggest staying here and enjoying the lovely accommodations they have!

We brought our little teardrop out and stayed at the Fringe camp site. It was a quiet weekend, with just took farm sounds. We were in town to do some day trips and check out the area and the campsite was exactly what we needed.

Great location and easy camping. Unfortunately I didn’t spend any real time at the farm, but it was a very nice location with excellent sites. Level, clean, and quite private.

We loved tent camping at Greener Pastures!!
Carl and Andrea have done so much work to keep visitors feeling welcome and curious!
With tons of fields, animals, and areas to explore, we didn't get bored once! Our toddler had an absolute blast with all the animals, and we especially enjoyed the guided tour with Andrea. We learned all about the hard work that goes into sustainable farming, and even tasted the difference from their farm store. Seriously, do not miss out on the meat!!

I went to celebrate both my birthday and my dog’s birthday at this farm and we absolutely loved it! My dog made friends with the owners’ dogs, which was so sweet. We stayed for two nights and the hosts were always just a text away — whenever I needed something, they were there to help. The place where we stayed even had Wi-Fi, which was a huge plus. I really enjoyed walking around the farm with my dog. I would 100% come back with my dog and definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a quick and relaxing getaway.

The family is so friendly and welcoming. Their dogs were such a highlight and spent a lot of time hanging out with us on our site! We enjoyed exploring the acreage of bush and seeing all the cute animals. Overall it was a great camping experience. Would definitely recommend.

We picked the spot with unobstructed access to the sky, and it was perfect. Set off from the road, you'll hear an occasional vehicle but it's really not a problem. It was a great spot. Our dog met the two friendly dogs on the farm, and she absolutely loved sleeping on the grass outside our rig. She would've been there all night if we allowed it!

The Fringe
Nice spot for a quick overnight campout. Our site, "The Fringe" was nice and private. Everything was clean and well maintained. The porta john was one of the better ones I've had the luxury of using. My only complaint would be the road noise during the day and early evening. But that died down later at night.

We had such a lovely and unique stay at Andrea and Carl’s farm. It’s a true working farm, so it’s not exactly quiet—but it is incredibly tranquil and relaxing. We were surrounded by cows, sheep, and free-range chickens, and every now and then the sheep made us laugh out loud with their antics.
Andrea and Carl were wonderful hosts—friendly, welcoming, and clearly appreciative of having us there. We picked up some fresh eggs and honey from their little farm shop to take home, and also bought a big bag of firewood for $7, which lasted us two nights.
One of the unexpected highlights was Brooks, their golden retriever mix, who was an absolute delight. He was friendly, sweet, and somehow managed to be around without ever overstaying his welcome—like having a bonus dog included with the booking!
It’s also just a very short drive to Woodstock if you need to pick up anything or want to explore a bit.
If you’re looking for a peaceful farm camping experience that still has lots of charm and personality, this is it. We’d happily come back.

The farm was quiet, calm and refreshing. The forest is spectacular. The 2 German Sheppard mix was friendly. Especially Brooke was very welcoming for the entire trip!! Always stayed with me and my girlfriend. Andrea was helpful appoint arrival. The campsite was well maintained with portable toilet steps away. I recommend this place if you are looking for a great campsite in a forest within a farm!!! Cheers

Of the 3 sites to choose from we have no regrets about chosing The Fringe. The site was clean, spacious and private. This was our first stay using Hipcamp and this stay set the bar high. 10/10 recommend. Was a great weekend to unwind while camping.

Carl & Andrea were incredibly kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay on the farm it truly felt like home. You can see how much love Andrea puts into everything she does, and it’s beautiful how they share a part of themselves with their guests. We can’t wait to come back!

My family and I spent Father’s Day weekend together on this beautiful farm with amazing views and some very cool animals to enjoy, the hosts of this property were both amazingly hospitable and so very welcoming and patient. I would definitely recommend visiting. And a special thanks to Brooks for being the best camp chaperone on four legs

We had a great time camping at Carl and Andrea‘s spot in the woods. The dogs were wonderful and getting to walk. The farm was definitely one of the highlights of our experience.

I really enjoyed my stay.i met Andrea in the farm store.Sourced with local product from meat to cheeses.Even local gourmet icecreams.She was helpful about the area and about my stay.i originally had Heart of the forest booked but fir myself as solo car camping I felt a little too open.would be great spot for families.so I switched to the Fringe set into the woods a bit and overlooking pasture and neighboring farmland.i was encouraged by Carl and Andrea to wander the farm.it was perfect time of year for lambs.i was always accompanied by their 2 beautiful dogs and had a few visits with the pups at my site.i brought some carrots to feed the horse.this is a very serine space.so if you like birds chirping,roosters crowing,lambs baking and a crackling fire then this is the place for you.

Carl and Andrea were lovely and their property was perfect for a fall camping excursion. We stayed on The Heart of the Forest site which was spacious and a short walk to the toilet, the walkway of which was lit perfectly to see in the dark. Their farm shop is a must visit with great smelling goat soap and an array of grass fed meat for you to cook for dinner. We will visit again!

I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was my first time using the app and I have never thought of camping on someone’s property.
I had called because I booked at the last minute and Andrea was so nice to talk to.
Andrea welcomed my friend and I along with her two dogs once we got there and made us feel welcomed.
The camp sight was surrounded by trees and was so nice, we had a lot of space.
There is a portable washroom that is kept very clean.
I would definitely stay here again!

Our stay on Carl and Andrea’s land was wonderful - we can’t recommend it enough!
The trees on the campsite offered many options for tent and tarp setup, as well as a bit of privacy from the driveway. There is a picnic table and a fire pit. You will need to bring your own chairs for the campfire.
Washroom was very clean and just a short walk away from the campsite. Garbage and recycling bins are located by the washroom.
One of the family dogs accompanied us often and was very friendly!
We visited the farm shoppe on Saturday to try some local treats and also stocked up on some meats to bring home with us. They do carry sausages and hamburgers in the store, so consider them as an option for your meals while camping!
Andrea and Carl’s passion for what they do was very apparent during the farm tour, and it was a great way to become familiar with the property to then explore it on our own.
Overall a 10/10 for us! We absolutely loved it and will be back

The campsite was tidy and well maintained with a fire pit, some Muskoka chairs and a picnic table. Everyone we spoke with was pleasant and welcoming and I loved the company of the farm dogs.
We booked for three nights, but stayed only one because I neglected to asked clarifying questions; this was through no fault of the host. I looked at the picture for Heart of the Forest and thought it would be more secluded than it actually was. I also didn’t realize how busy the road would be so the sound of the traffic was fairly constant. These were answers I could have gotten beforehand if I had asked the questions; particularly since my husband and I were looking for a very specific type of environment.
I would recommend this site to those who are not necessarily planning to just escape and stay on their campsite for the duration of the duration of their trip, since it really is lovely. It just wasn’t the site for us.

I cannot express to you how lovely this place is! My gf and I planned to only stay the only night but we stayed an extra and tried the other site!!! Both of them are so beautiful and cozy! They have wonderfully dogs! Brooks and Ruby, who will absoultely steal your heart and your bed (they are the most gracious your guides I've ever had)
If you want a chance to stay somewhere quiet and cheap and absolutely gorgeous and fun to walk around! Please please stay here atleast 2 nights! You'll get to expierence the whole farm and the animals!
This was probably the best camping expierecne I've had in a long time and I can't wait to come back!
The owners are so welcoming and gracious with their land and animals!!
Plus we got a little picnic which was ADORABLE!!!
12/10 would stay again !

We had a wonderful night at the farm on the fridge site. Very beautiful and great to walk around with our dogs. The farm shop was great and we stocked up on some local products which we enjoyed at our beautiful site!

The Fringe was the best Hipcamp we’ve camped at yet . We were greeted by Andrea on arrival. On welcoming us she reminded us that we were welcome to roam and enjoy .
We enjoyed the privacy, tranquility and even the sounds of the animals and seeing the family “do chores” together.
Being from the farm also … we felt right and home and had a great little getaway .

Overall, the owner’s description was pretty accurate and they were responsive and nice to work with. However, we were led astray by some of the other reviews which mentioned clean bathroom facilities. We were disappointed to find that there was just a porta potty but this wasn’t the fault of the owners. It was also very buggy which made the experience less enjoyable. All par for the course but it just didn’t turn out to be the experience we were hoping.
