Awarded best Hipcamp site in WA 2023, 2024 and now 2025! This campsite is designed for people wanting a quiet, eco-friendly stay. Just five kilometers outside of Margaret River, we welcome campers to come and experience the magic of Fair Harvest. The gardens and farm of Fair Harvest were established in 1995 and have matured into an extensive Permaculture demonstration system. In 2022, we were proudly awarded the nationally-recognised Eco Certification for Ecotourism camper amenities include 2 showers ( on timer as we have limited rainwater), 2composting toilets, and an outdoor kitchen built from timber harvested onsite. We are dedicated to creating a more sustainable lifestyle and sharing our beautiful farm with others. As a permaculture farm recycling is a huge part of our culture so please read our detailed guidelines to waste management for campers. The farm features extensive food gardens , a beautiful Yoga Barn, and a farm and forest walks. Our campground is close to town, bush walks and cycle trails. Enjoy eco-friendly amenities and a great vibe, a place to retreat in a beautiful part of the world. Visit the animals, discover our veggie garden and observe the many birds part of our ecosystem. Due to farm commitments, events, courses and retreats, the campground is open to the public only certain times of the year. Open everyday during holidays and long weekend. Open Wednesday to Sunday outside holidays Closed from mid june till mid September We have limited space for caravans, RVs and camper trailers. Please message us first to make sure we still have space. Please note that shady site are limited. We highly recommend campers to read the rules before arrival, thank you in advance! Fair Harvest Retreat Rules 1 - CHECK IN is between 2 and 6 pm, for late arrivals let us know your ETA. CHECK OUT by 10 am 2 - ON ARRIVAL, stop at the self check-in area. Register your details. Find your name and camp site number on the whiteboard. Grab a map and set up your camp. 3 - KIDS should always be accompanied beyond the immediate campground. 4 - Enjoy a SHORT WALK around the gardens. We kindly ask you to keep the gates closed and not to pick the food. FARM WALK, follow the walk trail sign around our forest about 30/40 min.. 5 - DOGS should be on a lead at all time, we do have 1 designated paddock (not fenced) where you can have your dog off leads, please ask us. Our 2 farm dogs are free to walk around the farm and are really friendly. Jimmy - Black X Kelpie love to get the stick, very gentle. Max - Tan x kelpie , love to chase Jimmy. Please make sure your bins and food are out of reach. 6 - FIRE - you are welcome to light the communal fire (firewood provided) 
 this is the only fire allowed on site. Please check current fire Ban info with us. usually from December till March WATER - the campground run with rain water only, we are limited please used it wisely. 7 - WASTE & RECYCLING - SO IMPORTANT! We are doing our best to provide a great recycling model. PLEASE help us …. All food even meat should be given to the chickens (bin in the kitchen) There is a 10C refund bin (this goes to charity) A recycling bin at the front gate. A general waste bin at the front gate. We do not accept mixed rubbish in our bin, so if you don't separate take them away with you. We will be more than happy to explain and help you with your waste. 8 - QUIET time from 9pm - please be mindful of others campers - no parties or late music. No generators. 9 - VISITORS between 9 - 4 and please ask them to park in the general carpark 10 - We are a SMOKE FREE farm.

Fair Harvest is a permaculture farm 5km out of Margaret River in Australia’s beautiful South West corner. The gardens were established in 1995 and have organic veggie gardens, fruit orchards, poultry, composting systems and more. we run courses event and our cafe is open Thursday to Sunday 7.30/10.30am. We are close to beaches, walk trails, mountain bike tracks and vineyards. This renovated truck has been turned into a living area with a queen size bed upstairs and a living area downstairs with a tiny kitchenette. Completely recreated using recycled pine pallets. The amenities toilet and shower are shared with our campground as well as a campkitchen and a campfire when not off season.

Lovely little family friendly campsite. We played with the dogs, went for a walk through the veggie patch, saw the horses, kids went on the swing ad nauseum, and loved the fire pit and instant gas hot water showers. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We spent two days here and really enjoyed it. It's relaxing and you feel really at home. There's a café, which is very good! The shower and toilets are great. There's a really nice atmosphere. We'll be back!

The most amazing place we’ve stayed at. It felt great to feel immersed in a more organic way of living and be present. The whole property was inspiring and we all left trying to come with ideas of how we could do the same 😂

Had a open space to the farm with my partner, they were really friendly poeple and could ask them anything with easy. Definitely would recommend to my family and friends.

This place is magical! I could have easily spent a week here. Really lovely and relaxed quiet property with heaps to see. Hosts are very friendly and easy going, hot showers and free firewood. Thanks!

Jodie and Dots property is magical. My Two daughters and I became quite attached and didn’t want to leave ‘ that world’. They are very lucky to have the opportunity to share that with the public , and are very generous to share their wealth of knowledge and delicious products. Hopefully their passion to showcase just how little we need and just how big we can achieve when we work together as a community , will rub off onto next generations.. I have been telling everyone about their beautiful sanctuary , but deep down I want to keep it secret. Well done to you both.

Beautiful farm, quiet, plenty of space, can wander through the vege patch and local forest, communal fire pit at night. Composting toilets are great. The showers did struggle when the campsite was at capacity over the long weekend - cold showers are surely good for your constitution!

It was great to stay at their place, even though it was for a night, it was very inspiring to see how they manage the Permaculture, and learn about the ecosystem interactions. Well located, good facilities and cleanliness.

The place is peacfull, Good facilities Nice owners I went with mumma for 2 nights in the campground They have a massive comunal fire pit and out door kitchen for everyones use.. Its good to chat with all the travellers far and wide amd hear the stories around the firepit..2 friendly doggies on the farm all they wana do is play ball and tug a war 😂👌 100 percent would go again Good vibes good times Get amongst it

Fairharvest is a really special campsite, beautifully immersed in nature and with a fabulous campfire to gather round. The cafe, yoga and close proximity to Margaret River are other great features. Highly recommend.

Lovely set up and a hearty feel to the place. The camp kitchen, toilets and showers were eco-friendly, well thought out with position and well maintained. Some sites a little close to each other but that's dependant on how busy the grounds are. Gorgeous nature walks and wildlife around.

Such a great camping venue for the kids, better vibe than a caravan park but not completely off grid and great amenities being the fireplace, camping kitchen, toilets and showers. Being on a farm is beautiful and the kids loved exploring!

We loved our stay at Fair Harvest. The place is like a little paradise. So many birds, nature is blooming. The communal fire and kitchen area makes it very easy to have a good time with everyone staying. I loved the yoga sessions with Ashleigh and Sandi in the morning. Also loved the walk through the plantation.

Such a lovely campground at Fair Harvest. It is very clean and green. The camp sites are spaced well, leaving you with your own little piece of paradise. The horses and chickens are a nice addition as well!
