Oracle campsite @ Delphi Farms

This spot was just what I needed. A reasonably priced quiet spot to sleep near Olympia. Thanks Jimbo! Found the spot without trouble. Relatively flat and big enough for my rig. Might be tight for anything much larger.

Did not feel safe. No signage and it’s not a meadow. There were squatters there with lots of junk all around their camp. Bathroom sink, pressboard desk collapsing from the rain. No where to walk and stretch your legs.

The place was fine for a quick stop over. The signage could be improved because I had a hard time finding Campsite 5. It was also right next to the road, which was a bit loud, so not ideal. There were other campers the night I stayed but there were lots of trees between me and the other campers, which was nice.

The site was super affordable, so maybe good for some folks. And it had a hose with water and a toilet. Here were our issues. #1, no signs of any sort for camping spots or that it was even a hipcamp. Driving around wondering if we were even on the right land. Found one guy living there who was great, and then he explained our options. Then another couple came in, also puzzled. #2, the road noise was more than we liked. So we left after first night, requested our money back for second night, but did not hear back from anyone.

Need somewhere to relax in the quiet to revamp before hitting the road again? Grabbing a spot in the field is perfect. Beautiful surroundings to wake up to. Deer and rabbits playing. Easy to find with the owners directions. Great price.

Extremely private and quiet! Could have better signage to show exactly where to go, but other than that it was perfect! We had the entire field to ourselves, and at first it was a bit creepy like something reminiscent of a horror flick, but after we chilled for a bit it was perfect! Couldn’t have asked for a more private location.

Great stay! Huge field, and the beautiful deer wandering around near our van were so fun. Only thing was the sites were not well marked and we weren’t entirely sure where we were supposed to park. Overall amazing property and would come back.

I enjoyed staying at Jombo’s property. Great place close in to Olympia/Black Lake. I had a rendezvous with others in the area and this spot worked well. I stayed at site#1 which is on a raised mound overlooking the field and hillside. Great spacing from other sites. This is a great choice if you wish to use solar power and/or Starlink.

Sites were a little confusing to understand. But it didn’t seem to be an issue, plenty of space to set up and the tent sites on the hill looked really nice. Bonus Disc golf course right down the road.

Perfect spot for a peaceful stopover on our longer camping trip. Arrived very late but still easily found the property and a nice, private spot thanks to Jimbo’s proactive directions and detailed instructions. Gorgeous starry skies! Convenient location close to amenities. Would stay again!

Oak Grove Meadow site - 03

Camp spot was easy to find with the instructions provided. The porta potty was a ways away from the field 1-4 spots. There was a site with things laying around everywhere and appeared to be abandoned with trash everywhere, no one showed up either. I didn’t feel at ease or comfortable.

This is an ok place to spend a couple of nights. It was great to find something available in the area last minute. I would suggest some kind of maintenance though. The lawn should definitely be mown. I don’t think a person with a regular sedan can make it.

Site 5 - Parking in the field

The campsite was very nice, and Jimbo and his wife were very accommodating and communicated well with me when I had questions. I accidentally stayed at the wrong campsite (I was supposed to stay in the field), but since there was no one else at the other sites and I had already set up my tent, they were kind enough to let me stay there. There was a porta-potty, but I had trouble finding the water. Overall, it was a great setup; just make sure you pay attention to where the site you reserved is and don't be afraid to contact Jimbo!

We loved camping out on Jimbo’s land. When we had nowhere else to go, he let us stay long term. When we couldn’t bring the camper with us after leaving, he allowed us to keep paying to store it there. The area is quiet and beautiful, lots of nature and very private and secluded. 15/10 would recommend

The meadow is really pretty with wild flowers. There was a deet grazing less than 10' from my door! The lane to get to the meadow is pretty tight and could use some trimming as the branches scraped my rig but once in the meadow, there was plenty of room to maneuver my 5th wheel.

Very serene spot. There is some traffic noise from Delphi Road but that slows to a trickle after about 10pm. It rained for the full three days I was there but I did not have any issues whatsoever getting out. The trees along the driveway are a bit low but they're all very small branches so I just went super slow and it wasn't a problem but I imagine if someone has a new Class A or 5th wheel, you might be hesitant to drive in.

You get to experience wildlife

It was peaceful. . Jimbo is very nice it wasn't crowded and even at maximum capacity it wouldn't be crowded. It is primitive, and unfortunately there's no campfires in the wooded area, but there's a porta potty, and I believe you can get water and eggs, fresh. , it's perfect for those who want a somewhat wilderness experience,(not to the degree that I do, but there is access to the wilderness not far away. ), yet also want to be close to the city, but not actually in the city. It's like it is mentioned in the advertisement. The camp host stays out of your business (which means you don't have a Park ranger watching your every move. Lol. I spent 16 days.. ), and I haven't been approached once, however that doesn't mean we haven't been in contact.. .. you want your privacy, you got it,, just no crazy stuff, like tearing up the property, but if you need something don't be afraid to ask. They are well accommodating.. (just so you know.. he is a little older than he shows in the picture, so he might be slow answering the phone or door. Jimbo has a heart of gold. . I do recommend highly, but it is not the gorge. Though it currently has an area that is flat that can accommodate a larger group, and I do believe it might be possible to have a fire pit down there.. RV trailer and stuff.. (close to 2 acres, just a field, flat.. , . I wouldn't suggest having crazy wild gatherings though. Talk to Jimbo about possible large group. . He is reasonable.

The ground was really soft so it was hard to keep traction. I didn't stay there bcuz I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get out if I did. Other than that it seemed like a nice place.

Jimbos place was perfect for my car camping setup and a convenient drive to my office near downtown! He provided written instructions that were so clear that I could find my site in the dark. Will definitely stay here again!
