Welcome to Christmas Tree Ridge Hello, We live here full-time. Our space overlooks the Tahuya Valley to the south and sits above a deep, forested gully to the east. Once a Christmas tree farm, this land is now a quiet, off-grid spot to rest, explore, and recharge. Allisha offers hosting/planning for women’s-only camping retreats here. More details can be found within the individual booking options—reach out if you’re curious or want to know more. Future planned retreat dates. Contact for other dates. August 29st-31st. Retreat bookings are request only No other campers are booked during retreat weekends. 🏕 Site Overview: (See the site map in photos) Valley Ridge Lookout – Largest site, w/TiPi, big views, outdoor sink & shower, with outhouse nearby. West Perch – Smaller site with water and power, tucked along the western edge, pull through parking. Side Step – A simple park-n-camp offshoot along the lower driveway. Gully Vista – A hike-in, tent/hammock site, via a narrow trail down into the gullie. Most guests tent camp or bring vans. If your trailering, and the trailer weighs more than your 2WD tow vehicle, this place probably isn’t the best match. ✅ What Makes This Place Special: Backs up to 150+ acres of state timberland (10–20 year growth). Hunters: check regulations. Our new link trail connects to the Howell Lake ORV network—tight at first, then opens up. Trail map posted in outhouse. We’ve got firewood—might not be perfectly dry, but it burns. Bring kindling in wet seasons. Trash-free land. Please keep it clean. No glass (if you bring it, Do not break it). Howell Lake seasonal swimming hole nearby with rope swing. 2-mile hike (4/10 hardness) or 10-minute drive. Big night skies—great for moon/stargazing. Campground runs on solar. ⚠️ A Few Notes: Some sites have steep drops—stay alert, especially at night. 1-mile dirt driveway is bumpy—take it slow. 280ft water well, Fresh water, but passes through non drinking water rated tanks and lines so I can't legally recommend drinking it. Bring drinking water or use a filter. We love this land and look forward to sharing it with respectful guests. Let us know if you have any questions before you roll in.

I present a micro campsite, built for backpacking-style tenting, in your own private setting. With a vista to the east, this spot looks clear across the main Tahuya River Valley from deep within a gully. During the wet season, the stream below adds a faint, relaxing flow as you rest and recharge. Two hammocks hang, or hang your own, along with a small bench beside a raised fire pit contraption generously donated by my neighbor. Scavenge the forest for firewood and enjoy the peaceful space. Please be sure to view the overall campground description for more details, and check the maps provided — cell service is limited and it’s easy to get turned around out here. Details: Best for hiking/backpacking style camping. Max tent size: 7' x 7'. Access is via a narrow, backcountry-style trail a couple hundred feet down into the gully. Only site here with rock-free soil. Clay base with a leafy/twig overlay makes staking and tenting a breeze. Flat tent pad, shaded all day during full foliage. Without foliage it gets sunnier, but being on an east-facing slope, the site loses sunlight early. Plan accordingly to avoid setting up in the dark.

Many people haven't had success in finding the outhouse. Tip: Walk up the hill and go as far northwest as you can and you'll find it behind the woodshed. Look at the campground description for more details and also look at the maps that I provided because lots of people get lost around here without cell service. Description of West Perch: A movable fire ring, wood, water, and power at this site. 3 min walk leads you up (+50') to the outhouse at the very top and back of the parcel. Plenty of sun at this location as well. Entrance to site is right of that red, tent shaped rock. Walk the path first if you are unsure about driving it. Small space, drive through spot, no grass again this year since I reshaped the land, more level and more room now. Rocky, but round rock so still very tentable, especially with a broom. ___Pros: ____ -Well tucked on the property with 2 separate partial directional views of the valley. -Perched well on the hill. -Open sky to the west, which is a neighboring parcel that was logged back in 22. - Unfiltered Well Water Tap (37psi) -120V Power hookup (20amp and 30amp receptacles) -Moveable ring ring to allow different camp layouts and adjust for wind direction and ash fallout on tents. -Nearby wood stack ____Cons:____ The outhouse is up that hill all the way to the north west corner of the property. 50/50 chance you fall on your ass walking back down the upper driveway as the round sandy rock can be like marbles at times. -Sort of a Con, Place runs on solar, If ya run your AC/electric water heater the whole time, we may all lose power until about 4 hours after sunrise the next day.....IF it's sunny, so be mindful about your energy usage or I'll open the breaker. -Ain't got no grass again this year is another con I suppose. Probably never will as I'm planning something else here.

I've had a lot of in-and-out, one-night, minimal car campers. If that is you, this is the new listing aimed at those folks to save money and leave the primary campsites open. It is smallish spot(about 25'x50'). Rocky/sandy, but round rock so tenting ain't too bad. There really isn't much here at this campsite yet. Long uphill walk leads you up to the outhouse by the Valley Ridge Lookout campsite(look at map).. I would rate this as the best shade in the campground, being the lowest down the hill. No water or power, but if you bring 100' hose or cord to run across the driveway, I can hook you up in a pinch. Pros: -Often shaded. - Easiest spot to find and drive too. -Cheapest and most relaxed cancelation policy's Cons: -Steep drop to the south of the site, potential rollover hazard if driven off. -Can be challenging for low IQ drivers to figure out where to turn around, wish I was joking, no one reads the arrival instructions it seams. If you continue up the driveway past SideStep, you could turn a semi around. Watched a wrangler one morning struggle for literal minutes to turn around at this campsites entrance. Lastly: This is a get what you pay for campsite. It's raw, newly formed flat ground here I made for long term parking, however I'm testing budget campsites out with it. Camping @ Valley Ridge Lookout

A future remote home site is your campsite for the time being with a Tahuya Valley view! This is for general camping with your own shelter. A new Tipi has been added at this location, however it is not available for use unless making a direct reservation request via other applicable listings. The only site with full* privacy. Blast music, dance naked around the fire, be human, zero judgement here. Just respect the site. SouthSouthEast facing slope, good sun, some shade areas thought out day. Closest and flattest walk to the outhouse, which is an underrated benefit vs. the other campsites in my opinion. Large rock fire pit, metal 2" mesh grate for setting over the rocks for cooking over the fire. *Other campers also use the Outhouse or the NW trail which has them walking up, or driving up sometimes. The rest of the property is out of sight and down hill from this site. FWD vehicles not recommended!

Recommend max sleeping 6 inside the TiPi and a max of 12 guest on site. A future remote cabin site is being occupied by a custom handmade 22' TiPi for the time being with a Tahuya Valley view! The new Tipi was added at this location for hosting retreats, however now we are opening up the TiPi to campers. Baseline Tipi knowledge to include safe fire practices as well as how to properly configure the TiPi flaps for various weather conditions is required. Furnishings include various rugs/ ground coverings, and an open firepit. It's not much yet but will keep you dry and warm. The only site with full* privacy. Blast music, dance naked around the fire, be human, zero judgement here. Just respect the land. SouthSouthEast facing slope, good sun, some shade areas thought out day.
