Bee Inspired Garden

Kay was out of town while we stayed here but her sister Liz rolled out the red carpet for us! Fresh flowers, warm cookies, firewood, veggies from the garden, and of course the gift of time to show us around the beautiful property! The kids loved feeding the chickens, frolicking in the garden, and tasting the sweet honey from the bees! The site was clean and level and never had bees near us. The views of the mountains and gardens were breathtaking and can be seen right from the site. We brought our telescope and had great views of the full moon, stars, and even several planets. It was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect little weekend getaway. We will definitely be coming back again! Would recommend for sure

We really enjoyed our one night stay. Kay was very welcoming and accommodating. The gardens are beautiful and her educational tour was great. Large private campsites with room to spread out. Also a great hilltop spot for night sky viewing!

Kay's property is beautiful and well equipped! Kay was so friendly and took our daughters in to feed the chickens and collect some eggs for us to eat! This is our second trip here and we'll definitely be back!

Quiet and relaxing with great views

Beautiful place with great views of the foothills and Mt. St. Helens. It was only 50 minutes from out house in Oly, which was perfect as we were on a quick getaway when we found ourselves childfree for the weekend. We enjoyed the quiet and Kay's beautiful flower garden. We also enjoyed great stargazing at night from our site. Was easy to park our 31 ft travel trailer. Easy access to water and electricity. Lots of beautiful places to visit around. Kay provided a packet with lots of information, maps, and food recommendations. We really enjoyed Kay's tour of her Bee's. If anyone is hesitant because of Bees, don't be! They are not a nuisance at all. So grateful for her work with them! We would definitely hope to return sometime.

Garden Inspiration

We had a wonderful stay at Bee Inspired Gardens! We were in Site #3, which easily accommodated our large 39’ fifth-wheel with plenty of space to pull in and set up comfortably. The site included water and electric, which made our stay even more convenient. The gardens were absolutely beautiful—clearly a labor of love and care. Kay gave us a personal tour of both the gardens and the apiary, and shared her knowledge about creating pollinator habitats. It was both educational and inspiring! A picnic table was provided at the site, and we were delighted to find a vase of fresh flowers waiting for us—a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Communication with Kay was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend Bee Inspired Gardens for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and educational stop!

Peace, Beauty and Mount St Helens

Kay's Bee Garden is an absolute respite of beauty, peace and privacy. The grounds are beautifully kept, abounding with flowers and, of course, bees, as it is an educational center for pollinators. The Bee Garden has 3 sites for RVs. Ours had a view of Mount St. Helens. Kay is a gracious, welcoming host.

Great site

The site was quiet, private and has a nice view of St Helens and the Cascade foot hills. Good arrangement to easily fit my 20ft trailer with power and water. Kay was extra helpful in making sure everything was going well and included information and some maps of the surrounding area. About a 15 minute drive to Mayfield Lake activities. It is a good site for astrophotography as well. I'll be back.

Our site was clean, the grass recently mowed. Kay met us on arrival. She also let the children feed the chickens and we visited the beehives and they got to taste the honey. Can’t wait to go back again!

Site has beautiful views and is well appointed. Kay is friendly and available but not intrusive. Flowers and local guide to welcome was a nice touch. Sunsets were perfect. Her gardens are inspiring. So relaxing. Plan to return again soon

Gorgeous Property!

This was SUCH a great place to stay! The property was gorgeous, and Kay was so helpful and friendly. Definitely have her take you on a tour of her bee sanctuary, and enjoy the view of Mt. St. Helens. We wish we were able to stay longer, and we will definitely stay there again if ever in the area. It is one of our favorites for sure.

Beautiful and peaceful

A beautiful place, peaceful, scenic and so wonderfully cared for. Kay was helpful and kind, available when we needed something, and gracefully absent when we didn’t. We got a fascinating tour of the Bee operations, and enjoyed the recommended hike in old growth forest nearby. This was our second year at Kay’s with several friends and had a memorable reunion on this lovely land.

We had an amazing vacation at Kay’s place! When we got there she was right there to direct us to our spot where there was a beautiful bouquet of flowers on the table. Setup was easy and we were able to put our chairs where we had a great view of Mt St Helens. It was so peaceful! There were deer in the morning and evening and a lot of birds. We 1000% enjoyed the tour of her gardens, art gallery, and bees - that is definitely a must! She is an amazing artist and her flowers are gorgeous! It was so very interesting to learn about the bees also. There were no bees in our site, you didn’t really see them if you weren’t in the gardens. There was space to walk the dogs also. Kay is an amazing host! We will definitely be back!

Tranquility amongst nature a buzz

This was our second visit to Kay’s beautiful land. The expansive views are breathtaking, the gardens are dreamy and Kay’s hospitality is inspiring. We brought friends this trip and we’ve all decided, we’ll be back! 🌻🐝❤️🐶 Plenty of room for both our 42’ Motorhomes. Close enough to feel connected, and far enough for privacy & quiet. A perfect place/site for friends to gather & enjoy. (We had sites 2 & 3). If you’re looking for tranquillity, nature , views & a gracious host, Bee Inspired is the place!

What a gorgeous piece of heaven on earth. We will be returning. Very level and clean sites with fire rings and tables. Minutes to amazing recreation (swimming, kayaking, fishing). Views were stunning! Even though it's a bee farm, we didn't have any bees. A random bumblebee here and there. Kay was a gracious hostess and was very welcoming. Nice, large sites. What a great hip camp!

We loved the land- the views of St.Helen's, the great rows of flowers, the house garden, the bees and their houses. Kay was fun to talk with about the bees, the gardens, art, and life in general. We needed a few days of peace and quiet and beauty, and that's what we got. Would love to return in the summer to see the flowers in full bloom!

If I could rate this 10 out of 5 stars, I would. Kay's place is great. Very quiet, great views, and getting to see an active bee farm was an awesome experience. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be doing that in the future. Thanks again for a great stay.

We had such a good time at the bee farm! It was so peaceful and relaxing. And the view from site #1 was absolutely incredible and there was plenty of room for our truck and trailer. And I absolutely recommend having Kay show you around her bee keeping operation.

Pure Perfection! The Best Hipcamp

I couldnt say enough good things about this site! The property is magical and beautiful. The wildflowers are SO pretty and are all throughout the property. There are only 3 camp sites so you still feel privacy and have space. The owner Kay is so sweet. She showed us the honeybees, educated us on how she has an active honeybee farm and even let us taste some fresh honeycomb! If you want to visit Washington- do yourself a favor and stay here! Its perfect beyond words.

Our Stay at the Bee Gardens

The Bee Inspired Gardens were a treat to stay at. The Host was incredibly welcoming and helpful with instructions on how to get to the campsite. She gave us a tour of her bee gardens in the morning that was super neat and the property has a gorgeous view of the mountains surrounding Mount Saint Helens. She also provided us with an 50v —> 30v adapter so we could charge our van while we stayed, and even offered up a water pressure regulator if we needed to fill up on water. I would rate our stay as 5/5 stars and would highly recommend staying with the Bee Inspired Gardens if you are ever in the area!

Beeutiful Hipcamp Experience!

Stunning mountain & valley views, clean, large lots. Easy to find and get in (great for bigger rigs). Kay greeted us upon arrival and provided all the details for our stay. Quiet and peaceful, and as mentioned, the daytime views are stunning, (but star gazing at night maybe just as beautiful.) Nature & wildlife are abundant. Our mid August visit meant the Wildflowers were in full bloom. Bunnies, deer, birds and of course the bees! Kay is graciously accommodating in sharing her vast knowledge of all things bees and the native flora that helps our pollinators thrive. As a beekeeper this stay was very special for me, but my husband (and pups) loved the stay as well. We’ll be back for this unique experience again soon!

Kay has created the perfect space for her bees and for her guests. She was a delightful host full of information about beekeeping, local attractions and stories of her adventures. She even welcomed us with flowers for our picnic tables! The property is beautiful and beautifully maintained. Mount St Helen’s stands behind the barn. Several mornings found the hills draped in thick, white, muffling mist. It’s a lovely, quiet space and we all enjoyed it very much. We got a kick out of catching glimpses of a deer with her twin, still spotted fawns! Our little group is seriously considering making the trip to Kay’s Bee Inspired Gardens an annual event!

Exceptional Views

We made a spontaneous one-night reservation at Bee Inspired Garden. My wife and I were so glad that we did. Kay’s property is a gem. She was kind enough to give us a comprehensive tour of her beekeeping operation as well as her gardens. She recommended some foliage for low light areas of our home. The stay was definitely too short. We will be back for a longer stay in the fall.

We had a wonderful week at Kay’s lovely Bee Gardens. We had a group of friends who wanted to camp together, so renting the entire site worked out wonderfully. Kay was a gracious and kind host, accommodating and friendly, to be sure we had what we needed. Kay gave us a tour of the gardens and bee houses, which was so interesting. We enjoyed the hiking trails and exploring the acreage with our dogs. Saw deer—including a mom with twins, lots of bunnies, birds, hummingbirds. The valley views and the peace and quiet were a wonderful change from the sounds of the city. Site 3 had power and water. Garbage and recycling bins were a short walk away. We had to use a couple of leveling blocks but the site is pretty level. Great to have a picnic table to use and Kay supplied flowers for each table. There was a fire ring but we chose to use a gas burning fire pit. We took a trip to Lewis and Clark State Park and enjoyed the Old Growth Trail. Seems like there are loads of other parks and things to do in the area. We are talking about making this an annual event for our group.
