Beautiful flat grassy site with shade trees and lots of space. The overall fenced area is almost 2 acres and you can park pretty much anywhere you want. Sometimes there might be another camper here but most of the time you will have the whole place to yourselves. Great for kids, pets and a very safe, secure, private place to just enjoy your adventure.

I enjoyed the fact that it felt safe with the fence around the property. It isn't a quiet street and there are vehicles all hours. While it isn't something they can control, they have neighbors who like to party into the night. Having said that, if quiet isn't necessary for you, it is a fine place to sleep.

Dave was very friendly, the property was clean, quiet, and in a good neighborhood. The other campers on the spacious property were friendly and welcoming as well. I highly recommend their little oasis!

The lot was very quiet and relaxing after our days visiting Portland. Very dog friendly. Dave was easy to communicate with before and during our stay, though the hosts were not present during our trip. No water or bathroom access here, but that’s ok as long as you plan accordingly!

We loved staying here! It was quiet and peaceful. In the mornings we walked the trails in the forest nearby. It was gorgeous. We will definitely stay here every time we visit Portland.

Dave and Ellen’s was the perfect place to park our camper. We were looking for a last minute safe place to sleep and Dave so kindly welcomed us (at night) last minute into his lot. The area is quiet, secure, and so easy. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing find. Dave was so accommodating in the space is great, especially if you have dogs. It’s basically his very big backyard completely fenced in. Convenient to Portland, convenient to mount Hood. Made some new friends with a couple who was camping there when we got there. Dave even filled my water tanks before I left.

Very nice stopover for the night. Very quiet and plenty of room to sit and relax after a long drive. Lots of shopping close by if needed and not too far from the freeway. Dave is very welcoming and friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Even the squirrels were entertaining.

My boyfriend, me and our 3 dogs LOVED Dave& Ellen’s place! Dave was so nice and helpful even telling us about a beautiful hiking trail to take our dogs on. Would definitely stay again! Such a huge beautiful space! They are doing it right, thanks again! Cheers!

Just as advertised, a large fenced field near Portland. Host met us on arrival, allowed us to get some water from a tap at his house, which is adjacent. Felt very secure. Double gate allows access in or out at all hours.

Dave and Ellen were very kind and extremely helpful. Ellen met me at the gate and helped me find their site. Dave communicated amazingly and helped me find where to throw away dog waste. It was a short trip but I would definitely go back again.

Really nice location, we needed to get to NE Portland one night and Edgefield the other, so perfect spot - and walking distance (long walk but all on pedestrian only trail near property) is historic downtown Gresham, very cool! Nice shade trees too.

Nice quiet spot for camping. Our kids loved the big yard. They had plenty of space to run around. We would stay here again.
