Amazing spot.
Craig was a great host and has put a lot of work into this property. I’d recommend staying for two nights to fully enjoy everything. There was constantly more things to discover. The beach access was a highlight. A 5 minute walk down a well maintained path brings you to a great beach front with lots of tide pools at low tide. There was also a very private cliff side bench and table set up, down a different path that gave us a great picnic spot with a panoramic view of the coast line. Every inch of the property is a work of art from Craig. Nearly everything is homemade, nautically themed, and has some sort of artistic touch. This was a very unique experience and nothing felt commercialized. Craig is clearly someone who has found something special and would like to share it with others.

Our stay at Craig’s place was absolutely magical! We actually got engaged on his property, which made it even more special. The beach access was incredible, we spent hours exploring, finding beautiful rocks, and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Craig was such a kind and welcoming host (and his sweet dog Jade completely stole our hearts!) Everything about our stay was calm, cozy, and unforgettable. We honestly never wanted to leave — thank you, Craig, for creating such a beautiful space!

Absolutely stunning ocean front property and cozy bungalow equipped with small kitchenette, couch and cute rustic decor. The kitchenette had a coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave and mini fridge as well as necessary cutlery. The composting toilet was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. For being right on the cliffside, the bungalow was very dry inside and not a bit moist or musty like most coastal houses can be. The path to the beach is very steep but well maintained. Morning coffee on the beach is a must! Beach is low tide access only. My little dog was the happiest I’ve ever seen her. She was elated, running circles on the luscious property and scaling the rocks on the beach. 10/10 would love to stay again!

This is an amazing property that Craig put a lot of work into to make an incredible place to get away. The views overlooking the beach were amazing and once you get to the beach we mostly had it all to ourselves. Craig was also a gracious host and we appreciated his checking with us to make sure things were going well.

This place was unbelievable! Private casita on a bluff top property and a trail down to the beach. We caught a beautiful sunset, roamed the trails, took a heated outdoor shower…pure serenity. Craig was an extremely gracious host and made us feel right at home. This was a once in a lifetime experience.

Beach Overlook
We had an incredible time staying at the beach overlook. Craig and his dog Jade were great hosts. He was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
The beach access and trails around the property were great. We also loved the many benches and the swing where we could relax and watch the ocean. We feel incredibly lucky that Craig is so welcoming and willing to share something so special with others.

Craig’s place was beautiful and as described in the listing. The grounds and the view were incredible, our two dogs enjoyed it as well. The outdoor shower was lovely (with a view!) and the outhouse was clean. It was like elevated camping and we only stayed one night but it was a fun stop.

Craig’s place was beautiful and peaceful. He has really put a lot of care and creativity into making it a magical space. The casita was cute and comfortable for us and our two dogs. Craig and his adorable dog are on site and both were welcoming and kind and gave us privacy. We would definitely book this space again.

We had such a fantastic time! It is such a peaceful and serene location that has been protected from all the noise of the modern world. Walking on the beach feels like you are the only person in the world. Craig was a great host, was proactive in his communication with me and even accommodated me when I accidentally booked the wrong location. He made the experience stress free by knowing what to expect. A couple notes we wish we had known: this is completely off grid - no cell service or WiFi at all so we recommend stopping in the town of Bandon to let your loved ones know you won’t be responding for a bit. We freaked out some family members by not doing this ahead of time. Second, bring all the bug spray. If we had had spray and some citronella candles, it would have been much more relaxing Third, the walk down to the beach is quite steep - it’s not far and is totally doable but the climb up and back was a bit of a surprise to us. Last, we stayed in the casita and loved it but there are no screens on the windows so you can’t really open them without letting in all the bugs. We wish we had thought to bring a little fan or something to move the air around in there because it gets a little stale with no AC or other ventilation. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would love to go again!
