Couples' Cabin - Lazy Bear

We had an amazing weekend at the Lazy Bear Cabin with our dog. The cabin and bathrooms were clean, the bed was so comfy, and the staff was very kind, especially Chris who made sure we always had enough firewood. Highly recommend this beautiful spot—we’ll be back soon!

Mirror Cabin - Looking Glass

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Valley Bear— from the cabin, to the customer service, and the amenities! The hosts and the site’s manager were all so helpful throughout our stay and even better we were one of the only ones on the site at the time due to their soft opening! There was a little bit of everything for the whole family— pet area for my pooch to run free, volleyball/corn hole/pickleball for the kiddo, swimming hole for the husband, and a beautiful garden for me. I definitely would recommend. Few things to mention unrelated to the site itself; it’s about a 25 minute drive up the mountain, so i suggest you grab what you need BEFORE you make your way up. There’s only one gas station close to the site that is cash only. The town itself is very conservative, the epitome of Deep South, so if you’re not used to this it could be alarming.
