Pull off the blacktop onto the grassy drive running through the field and forest. The sites are just off of the road, and minutes from lots of local culture and recreation. We do have two sites available, but we'll only take one booking at a time. So, you'll have the area to yourself and your choice of campsites. Groups that add up to at least 8 people to the booking can use both sites. The clearing is about an acre and is surrounded by forest. Our home is next door, but you have your own drive.Pull off the blacktop onto the grassy drive running through the field and forest. The site is private, but just minutes from lots of local culture and recreation. The clearing is right off of the road, is about half an acre, and is surrounded by forest on three sides. The campsite is approximately 30 ft long and 20 ft deep. We only book one group at a time. So, you'll have the area to yourself. Set up wherever fits you best! The fire pit is provided with one night of fire wood. The site has access to trash and water (May-Oct). All other amenities and services must be included in your camping system. Our property does have several free roaming cats and one very friendly dog that might come say hello. Please do not feed the dog. This site is ideal for travel trailers, van campers, and truck campers. Using tents as a primary shelter is not ideal because of the site's proximity to the road and the lack of a toilet. All human waste must be contained within your system and packed out. We are right next door if you need anything! SPRING '26 NOTE: in early April, the power company cleared the forest underneath the power lines at the front edge of our property. This means that Hidden Drive isn't quite as hidden as it was. This, we have changed the name to Side Drive. Please see photos for what you can expect to see when you arrive in late April and early May. Your campsite will be visible from the road, and you should plan accordingly. Our hope is that the new growth will cover this a little bit this summer and we can plant some indigenous trees along the edge at some point this year. Thank you for understanding.

The site was very lovely, and despite the recent power line clearing still felt private. I appreciate the water access and firewood. Very close to town, the beach, and local parks. I would definitely stay here again!

This is my third visit at hidden Drive. I just love it location and it really feels very private. Also, the firewood was awesome and quick burning. Love that. Host Aaron is always very responsive and friendly.

This is a little gem, minutes from Douglas, Saugatuck. Secluded Little Getaway, nestled in the woods. Our host couldn't be more accommodating. Two thumbs up on this place.

So nice to guarantee the place to ourselves as they don't double book. Wide open sky for stars and super close to town for easy breakfast next morning. Will stay there again for sure.

The spot is great, wooded and feels private even though right next to the road. But the stand out for me was the hospitality of the host, Aaron. I was able to make a very late reservation for that night, and when I told him I was eager for a fire, he had one started for me as I arrived! Also provided tips for kayaking and other activities in the area. Will definitely stay here again.

This was our second trip to Hidden drive and we enjoyed it just as much this time. It's quiet, secluded, well maintained and ideally located for short trips to Lake Michigan to swim, Douglas and Saugatuke. Thank you Arron for making this site available and we hope to return again shortly.

We have stayed multiple times at Aaron’s place with our camper van and have always loved a quiet and beautiful place to rest next to all the vibrant places to explore in the Saugatuck and Douglas areas. There is so much to see and do in this area, but hidden drive has always been a consistent place to relax, unwind, enjoy the silence, and plan our next day. We recently visited in peak season and loved the dunes, art and food in the area, but have also visited in the fall where the best of Michigan is really on display. This is also close to where my grandparents lived years ago (Fennville) and has become a great food and wine area. Thanks to Aaron and family for always making sure everything is okay each time we stay.

Lovely camp

Two great areas to set up Basecamp! The nearest one to the road (on the right as you enter) offers nice shade in the evening, I recommend parking your vehicle facing north, alongside the tall grass. Speaking of tall grass, our dogs enjoyed exploring and lounging in the tall grass. This was our second visit! Please see my first review.

Aaron is a great host. He came out and greeted us upon arrival. He checked in during our stay to make sure we were ok. This site is right off the road but was very private and quiet. The road was not busy at all. There was a hose which was very nice to have access to water. This was a great base camp for visiting Holland, Saugatuck and the local beaches. We really enjoyed this spot and will be back.

This space was so great for my dog and i and our 23 ft rig during our first few days of full time bus life! It was incredibly peaceful (so many birds!) and very private. It is right off of a road but it doesn't feel like it and is super tucked away and safe. The hosts were so great and gave great recs that I asked for. Plus the location is prime for Saugatuck and Douglas and so many beautiful trails.

Great site near Douglas and Saugatuck. Holland also just a short drive away. Site was private and safe. Easy to locate. Host was friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. We've already booked a second trip for the summer!

This campsite was perfect for what we were looking for. It’s private, right outside of Saugatuck and they even had firewood for us to use! Aaron was super responsive and was there to help if we needed anything. We will be back!

Hidden drive is a quaint, quiet, cute little location close to Douglas, Saugaturk MI so its well suited to enjoy Lake Michigan shoreline. It's close to beaches, interesting sites by bicycle or a short drive and the bigger town of Holland is only 20mins away. We really enjoyed the area and the site and plan on returning again next year. Thank you for having this little gem available Aaron !!!

Loved the location of this spot, we were so close to town. Aaron only rents the 2 sites out to 1 party at a time, which was such a pleasant change from the parking lot camping experience you get at most campgrounds. The water onsite was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again

I don't want to tell anyone about this place, it's too perfect. The sites are nicely secluded and it's as quiet and peaceful as you could ever ask for. We had a wonderful night camping here, would love to return the next time we visit the area.

Cheryl was the host and she was very nice and accommodating. She even fills up my water tank and let me use her hose. Nice grassy spot with electrical plug-in. No fire pit.

Aaron has a great, simple, private campground on his property! Water is provided, and nice firepits. He had freshly chopped would at the site and trash can as well. Blackberry bushes in abundance! The sites are slightly close to a road but doesn’t take away from the privacy too much.

The spot was clean and pleasant. I appreciate that both spots are not rented at the same time unless it's to the same party. There's always shade in one camp or the other which made it easy to stay comfortable. There is a little road noise but not much. Our host was easy to communicate with and offered helpful suggestions to our inquiry.

Aaron's spot is outstanding. He greeted me and was available if I had any questions. There is privacy, plenty of room for a camper, sun and shade. As long as your dog is good, they don't have to be leashed - Maizy was really psyched about that. He even put in a stone fire pit and supplied the wood for a good campfire. Having water readily available was very convenient. Great beaches nearby and cute towns. I will return again.
