Quiet place both for our campervan outside and the inside room. Was gracious to be able to use the common space inside too! Very comfortable and great coffee bar!

What a lovely place Danielle has. We thankfully were able to meet her in person this morning. The yard and woods were peaceful and filled with birds. She opened her lovely home to us and it was wonderful to sit in the living room in a morning sunbeam and do some work. Convenient location to friends and family in nearby towns. We hope to return if in the area again.

We weren't arriving early enough to pitch a tent but it was so convenient to stay at Danielle's. We weren't able to meet her as we arrived around 9 pm & she had already gone to bed. but she left lights on for us and gave us instructions for how to utilize the space. We were comfortable and slept well. Would definitely return in the future when passing through. She was easy to sign up with last minute as well (this was a last minute trip), so we appreciated that too.

Danielle's Hip Camp is a great option if you want to either stay inside a home with conveniences, or to camp in a private yard. Very quiet! Danielle is accommodating, and the house is comfortable.

The yard is private and the neighborhood very quiet. I loved the combination of camping and house amenities. I would definitely recommend it.

Danielle went above and beyond welcoming me into her home. As a first time HipCamp-er coming from upstate NY on a through-trip to Salem, Danielle was not only a wealth of knowledge and information about the city itself but was able to accommodate my late arrival time and departure as well. I will be staying here again. Danielle set the bar up high for my future HipCamp experiences!

Beautiful area with plenty of scenic walking trails nearby. Danielle is a wonderful host, very welcoming and friendly. Her home is clean, comfortable and quiet—a perfect retreat!

Danielle generously welcomed me into her home last minute with my dogs, so that I could make it to Massachusetts before a storm hit. Danielle is kind, generous and made sure I had everything I needed, even helping me unpack and pack my car back up before I left. Her home and property are beautiful, cozy, and she welcomes you into every area, showing you around and making sure you know where things are and how they work. I hope to return to camp out as the weather grows warmer. Highly recommend.♥️

Danielle was my life saver! I got stuck in a situation where I needed a last minute reservation and found Danielle’s listing. It was rainy and she had an extra bedroom open and invited me in so I wouldn’t have to set up my tent in the dark and in the rain. She was extremely responsive and accommodating and provided such a cozy stay. She welcomed me to tea and coffee in the kitchen, and overall it was a great experience. Not to mention her home is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING

Peaceful Retreat is a world-class Hipcamp spot, 10/10! Danielle was super friendly and helpful. I stayed for 11 nights while working in the area. There are two nice bathrooms, one with a shower, and the overall vibe is totally "make yourself at home". Nice wood thrushes rushes singing in the morning, even in late July! I'll definitely stay there again next time my travels take me that way!

The Peaceful Retreat was located in a beautiful neighborhood, was quiet and relaxing. Danielle was very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay there.

Danielle was a terrific host for us, especially as we are very new to the "little camper" thing! Her house was impeccably clean, her communication was excellent, and we could not have asked for a better home base for several days.

Easy to locate if driving. There was a great fire pit set up in a nice garden surrounded by trees at the back where we pitched the tent. Danielle made us feel very welcome and she was a brilliant host. She even gave us tips for our trip up to Acadia National Park. I would highly recommend this for families or female, solo travelers.

Danielle was super friendly, inviting, and hospitable! Her place had plenty of space for me to pitch a tent and really appreciated access to the house bathroom and porch. Only wish I could’ve stayed longer. Like many others, definitely recommend for solo female travelers for short or longer stays.

What a beautiful space and vibe! This camp is close to the adorable town of Hudson, to wineries/breweries, and lots of outdoor activities in the area. There are several options for where to setup - and the location is ideal for RVs, van campers, rooftop renters and SUV-rvers! Gorgeous fire pit out back with a lovely view of a wooded area and stream bed. Access to running water, a bathroom, coffee and tea all make this so glampy and a real treat. Danielle is an amazing host and human! She’s warm, thorough and responsive - and has some incredible add ons to consider. I can’t wait to come back!

I loved tent camping on Danielle's land. There was plenty of space and privacy. It was quiet and peaceful. It was a pleasant experience. The added perk of having access to the toilet/shower was fantastic. There also was coffee, tea and hot chocolate every morning. Danielle was very nice and I definitely enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful home. Felt comfortable the whole time: even extended 2 days! Great for solo female travelers. Safe area. Hostes was easy to communicate with, very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful New England spot for camping. Backyard was great for hanging out and making a campfire. Amenities in the house were great. Distance to Boston was fine. All in all exactly what we needed, would come back and can recommend!
