Beautiful Adults only peaceful site, open all year round.
We purchased this peaceful secluded 15 acre piece of land, consisting of a 3 acre lake, in early 2015.
Our beautiful Log Cabin (KINGFISHER) was completed in May 2017 and the static homes style lodges, (LAVENDER AND SUNFLOWER) in April 2021.
Kingfisher is a more rustic vibe with log burner and oil filled radiators for heating and Lavender and Sunflower are more modern vibe with gas central heating.
Lavender and Sunflower both have ramp access.
They all have their own personal jetty and veranda to fish from. You can also fish anywhere around the lake as we do not allow day tickets.
Kingfisher has 3 bedrooms, so sleeps 3 singles or 3 couples. The other two have 2 bedrooms, so sleeps just 2 singles or 2 couples.
It is such a peaceful haven. All your troubles just disappear when you arrive. The calming beauty of the lake is inspiring.
We want this to become our very own nature reserve, encouraging nesting of all kinds to mature to full potential. We want you to share on our journey and progress along the way. We don’t look on this as a business, but a ‘home from home’.
It is our secretive safe haven, nestled nicely in-between Boston and Skegness in a peaceful surrounding – there is no traffic apart from the occasional Spitfire or Lancaster flying by! Also, depending on what time of year, the occasional combine harvester or tractor working the surrounding fields.
Please note that our fishing village and cabin site are for adults only, no children or pets are allowed. We may welcome well behaved and experienced fishing people from the age of 15 years upwards. Please ask beforehand.

Kingfisher Rustic Log Cabin

Adults Only. Self-catering cabins. Self-check-in and check out. Very peaceful and isolated location. No interaction with any other guests. No shared areas. Each cabin overlaps the 3 acre lake. The site is situated in between Boston and Skegness and only 3 miles from the sea-'The Wash'. Ideal for Fishing, relaxing and Contractors are welcome. No pets allowed.
Kingfisher sleeps 3 couples, or 3 single guests. It boasts 3 lovely bedrooms containing 1 double bed and 2 kingsize beds dressed with beautiful, professionally laundered bedding.
Real wood cabin. Home from home, rustic vibe. Feels like visiting a peaceful safe haven. Every guest that has stayed, always returns. All of your troubles disappear are the comments we hear. Maybe because of the peaceful ambiance of the cabins integrating into the stunning calming beauty of the lake and the soothing nature sounds.
Kingfisher Lodge has a very comfortable sofa and 2 armchairs, a coffee table and dining table and chairs. There is one main bathroom with a large shower. In the open plan lounge is 52" TV with Freeview and free Netflix, not to mention free WIFI. Sit back and enjoy a glass of your favourite drink next to the clear-view log burner. Free wood included in Winter months.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook with, also included are tea towels, washing up liquid, bin bags, kitchen roll, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, etc.
Don’t forget to bring your slippers and a book or two, or your fishing equipment, or even your camera to get that perfect shot for your album. You can fish directly from your veranda or on your personalised jetty, or anywhere around the lake. We are not open for day tickets, the site is solely for cabin guests only. No visitors are allowed.
Other things to note: There is a huge round house at the other end of the lake that was featured on the TV Programme, 'Grand Designs' (Season 19 Episode 2 in 2019 - 'Lincolnshire roundhouse'). The Owners allow fishing up towards their house. Fishing is allowed day and night and the site is open all year round. Barbless hooks only NO keeo nets allowerd NO tigernut bait allowed Make sure you have a large landing mat or cradle and landing net as there are a few specimen fish in there (up to 36lbs plus!) Fish in the lake are, carp, tench, rudd, roach, bream, barbel, perch and Catfish.

Lavender Rustic Log Cabin

Adults Only. Self-catering cabins. Self-check-in and checkout. Very peaceful and isolated location. No interaction with any other guests. No shared areas. Each cabin overlaps the 3-acre lake.
Lavender Lodge is the lodge on the very end with Sunflower to the left spaced quite far apart. Boasting a very large veranda allowing you to fish from. There are glass balustrades around the decking to shade from the wind. You also have your very own personal Jetty.
2 bedrooms, sleeps 2 couples or 2 single guests. 2 bathrooms – 1 bath and 2 showers. Free WiFi, Free Netflix, Free Fishing and Free parking. Dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. We provide bed linen, towels, toilet roll, tea towels, kitchen rolls, kitchen foil, utensils, pots, pans, bin bags, tea, coffee, sugar, cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, and hand soap. Lots of wardrobe hanging space and drawers, even a fresh laundered use of a dressing gown during your stay! Don't forget to bring your slippers!
All Cabins overlap the beautiful 3-acre fishing lake. You have a very large veranda to fish from or simply sit back and chill soaking up the surrounding sounds of nature. This is a quiet retreat so no loud parties/music etc. This is a peaceful chill out site.
The fish in the lake are in pristine condition as we do not allow day ticket fishing, so no mouths ripped to shreds, etc. Only experienced Fishing people with a valid rod license to fish the lake, please.
Species of fish in the lake are:
Carp, Cats, Bream, Barbell, Tench, Roach, Rudd and perch. The biggest caught was a 36lb Grass Carp. The average catch is 12lb Carp. All fish are to be returned alive and unharmed back to the lake. You can also bring a bivvy to set up anywhere around the lake (only for allocated cabin guests). No visitors allowed.
The best feature, apart from the cabins, for me, is the views and the Sun Set – magical!

Sunflower Lodge is 2nd in from the right with Kingfisher lodge to the left and Lavender to the right spaced quite far apart. Boasting a very large veranda allowing you to fish from. There are glass balustrades around the decking to shade from the wind. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 2 couples or 2 single guests. 2 bathrooms – 1 bath and 2 showers. Free WiFi, Free Netflix, Free Fishing and Free parking. Dishwasher, large fridge and freezer, oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. We provide pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.
