We had a fantastic time camping at Ed’s land! The views were amazing, with Lake Elsinore right in front of our site and easy access to a private dock.
Even though the daytime temperatures reached around 95°F, staying shaded under the trees made it very comfortable, especially with the cool breeze blowing off the water throughout the day. The highlight of the trip was definitely the sunset—the beautiful afterglow over the lake was so relaxing and made us forget all our stress.
A quick tip for future campers: as some other reviews mention, there are small bugs attracted to lights in the evening. They aren’t mosquitoes and don't bite, but bringing a bug zapper or light controls definitely helps! Also, keep in mind that motorized boats and jet skis make it a bit lively/noisy during peak day hours, but it didn't take away from the overall experience.
We would definitely come back again with the family. We really had a great time!

Super nice retreat, and it’s right on the water. Gorgeous sunsets, lots of shade, and running water spigots. If I had to have one critique, it would be that’s it’s a bet too close to the road for my liking, you can hear cars, but it’s not a super busy highway. I would definitely book again.

We had a great time at this camp. The porta potty was spotless and the site offered an amazing view with a private pier. Ed is prompt and attentive with communications. We had a minor glitch and Ed made us feel welcomed even though it was not his fault. Would definitely highly recommend!

We had a great time in lake shore camping Ed’s land! It was my birthday I was glad that I booked this campsite. Direction was simple.. easy to find . Ed responded to me right away if I had a question. Town is nearby, even though you feel very private when you get to this campsite. porta Potty was clean. appreciate that there is a canopy with mist and two picnic table. Lake view was amazing especially sunset. We had a blast doing fishing. One of my daughter even caught catfish. It was a big one ! Only thing, there is a little small fly bug swamped our tent if you leave the lights inside at night. Luckily they don’t bite. After turn off a light, they are gone. I will bring flying insect outdoor trap next visit. Over all this camping and fishing experience was well worth it. We will be back hopefully longer stay next time. Highly recommend lakeshore camping to anyone:)

Ed's spot on Lake Elsinore was exactly what we hoped for. The location is super convenient — plenty to explore nearby and stores close by whenever we needed supplies.
The fishing was the highlight. We pulled in 10+ catfish over the course of our trip. The private dock is perfect for that, and it's just as nice to sit out there at night and look at the stars over the water.
Everything is well maintained and equipped. Water and a toilet are available, there's a nice sitting area down by the beach, and the whole site felt cared for.
We met Ed on our way out as he was coming in to do maintenance — genuinely great guy. Would happily come back.

Had a great time making this something im going to do every year with the family the only thing I noticed is this time the lake water seemed a lot greener from what I remember I wish they maintained the lake a bit better but other then that it was great

We had an incredible stay here! The campsite was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and spacious. It is clear the hosts take great pride in looking after the property, which made us feel comfortable right away.There are so many fun activities to do around Lake Elsinore,l. After a busy day of exploring, returning to such a peaceful and beautiful setup was perfect.If you are looking for a great outdoor getaway that balances adventure with comfort, this is the spot. We will definitely be back!

This was such a cool spot! It had everything a campsite could need, a fire pit, lots of parking space, big trees and shady areas, a dock, and picnic tables. One with a pergola and tarp cover that also had attached misters and solar powered lights! 😃 We took the paddleboard out, let the kids go fishing and then tried out the jet ski rentals up the street. We really felt like we scored on finding this spot. Thanks for having us!

Always love coming out here for a quick getaway. There’s everything you need nearby. The lake is beautiful during sunrise and sunset. Perfect shade for hot summer days, Running water, and the porta pottys are always well maintained and clean. Thank you Ed!

Perfect Weekend Escape

We had an amazing stay and everything went so smoothly from start to finish! The campsite felt very private, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the weekend. We spent time fishing and caught both crappie and bass, which was definitely a highlight of the trip.
I honestly don’t understand some of the complaints about street noise. The sound of the waves from Lake Elsinore was so peaceful and pretty much drowned out any traffic for us. It made for a relaxing atmosphere, especially in the evening.
The picnic table with the canopy was incredibly helpful and the solar string lights added such a nice touch after sunset. Having grocery stores and restaurants just a short drive away was also a huge plus if we needed anything.
Overall, this was a great experience and we’d absolutely stay here again. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a great time camping with our two young kids. The only thing which is mentioned by others, is that it’s right next to a main road so there’s almost constant cars all day and night. Not an issue in the daytime but it’s pretty loud in the evening so maybe pack a sound machine or something. The dock is great, the tree is also perfect for putting a tent under and getting some shade. Fire pit was nice as well for s’mores and keeping warm at night. Overall a nice spot.

Overall it was a good experience. I’m used to campsites that have flush toilets and hot showers. This one didn’t, but I knew that and looked forward to roughing it out a bit.
Pros: The view was fantastic. I really enjoyed the unobscured views. The pergola was also really handy because it got pretty sunny. There was a strong wind in the afternoon but calmed down at night so we were able to use the bonfire The water spigot was great! No mosquitos when we went! Probably because it was pretty windy.
Cons: Midges everywhere (June). The Porto potty also turned into a nightmare after the sun went down. It was SWARMING with spiders; we saw multiple black widows. We were all too scared to used it at night. Luckily we were still in civilization and just did a quick trip to a store to use their bathroom. There were also TONS of cockroaches at night which I wasn’t prepared for. I consider it a win that none of them got into our tent, but I was still disgusted.
I had a good experience and left with mostly positive memories. But I probably wouldn’t come back because of the roaches and spiders…

View is gorgeous! Was the perfect place to test our gear and introduce our puppy to camping and playing in the water. She loved birdwatching and having the freedom of a longleash without us worrying about other campers wandering through the site. The large fire pit, tables, spigot, and canopy with warm string lights were very useful and the porta potty was clean and stocked. Will definitely be back to fish off the dock and teach the dog to swim!

Great camping site right on the lake! There's potable water and the porta potty was really clean. The dock was perfect for fishing and for tying up our inflatable raft. The host left firewood for us (which we didn't end up needing since it was perfect weather every evening). Directions and codes to the gate and porta potty were very clear.
The view of the lake was amaaaaazing!
We had a great time and would come back again!

Great spot! Private Dock, Firepit, Wooden Pergola w/ lights, 2 Picnic Tables, Flushable Porta potty, & Water Spout, & plenty of room! Loved how private it was. Great water for chilling in a river-tube & fishing. LOTS of fish! Be aware that there is a LOT of flying bugs (June 2026, did NOT get bit!). Overall would book again!!

Great spot right next to the water. My granddaughter caught a good sized fish. We saw tons of turkey vultures and fish jumping in the lake. Only part that i wish could have been better was the wind and cold in the mid -late afternoon that just doesn't stop. Couldn't spend as much time outdoors.

Love the spot, amazing lakefront view and the deck was an additional touch. Gated area with our own porta potty, the picnic benches and the fire pit. Everything in one place.

We had 8 in our group and this site was enjoyed by each and every one of us. Waking up every morning in front of the lake was nice! We definitely will return.

Great amenities and view of the lake. The porta-potty was very clean, portable water, dishwashing area, pinic table with canopy and lights. However, lack of communication from the host. Host did not reply to our message and it was not communicated to us that the porta potty was going to be serviced during our stay. I was surprised to see how close we were to a major street. The campsite also had some broken glass and trash. Convenient store and restaurant are a few minutes away.
