Description
Wake up to sea breezes and the cacaw of bay birds at Curry Hammock State Park Campground. Each of the 28 campsites provides water, a grill, and electricity (although shade can be scarce). RVs and tents are welcome at any site, although if you’re pitching a tent, try to avoid sites 3, 10-19, 21, 26, and 28 -- they only have a hard gravel surface, whereas other sites have an adjacent soft, sandy area that will be much more comfortable for tent campers. Bonus: all sites come with at least a bit of an ocean view.

Beautiful. The water is great, the beach is white. Worth renting a kayak to check out dolphins, turtles, fish and even some small hammerhead sharks in the shallow water. Spots are decent sized. Hookups are great.

This campground is a lot better than some of the others in the keys! There's enough beach that you can comfortably walk and the sites are spaced well. You can't really swim in the water here unless you want to wade through a bunch of seagrass. The sunset here was gorgeous! Would definitely camp here again.
