Felin Uchaf Meadow Camping

12 units · Motorhomes, Tents10 acres · Pwllheli, Wales
Private camping fields based within the site of Menter Y Felin Uchaf. Felin Uchaf is host to several traditional and eco buildings, an observatory, a craft shop, farm shop, a regenerative farm and market garden, woodland walks, roundhouse and cabin accommodation, as well as being a hub for storytelling and music evenings, private and public events and gatherings, and weekly volunteering opportunities. We also hope to re-open our garden Cafe once more over the summer months. Guests are welcome to walk around the site. A small oasis nestled within woodland and hedgerows planted up to 20 years ago, providing seclusion and immersion in nature. We are surrounded by beautiful a coastline, quiet beaches (can be busy at the peak of summer - happy to suggest quieter spots!), and hill top hikes. A stay here offers the perfect location to explore all that the Llyn Peninsula has to offer and a chance for plenty of walking, swimming, surfing and exploring for those wanting to be in nature. We are happy to suggest some of the best spots for a day out, as well as local eateries and cafes, and the nearest amenities if needed!

Panpwnton Campsite

10 units · Motorhomes, Tents10 acres · Knighton, England
Located on the edge of Knighton (right on the England-Wales border) Panpwnton Campsite has been open to visitors since 1963. Providing travellers with a peaceful place to stop on some of England and Wales’ most famous walking and cycling routes. Now managed by Will, Roxy and family, we would love to welcome you to Panpwnton Campsite and show you why we are proud to call this beautiful place our home. The campsite is on our working farm, where we keep a flock of 300 texel cross breeding ewes. We are very passionate about farming. Our aim is to produce lamb in a green and environmentally friendly way, striving to reduce our carbon footprint whilst working alongside nature. A family run farm campsite situated on the Offa’s Dyke footpath. Located in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we are ideally located for those who like to walk, cycle or just take in the peaceful countryside. With magical nights under the stars listening to the owls hooting in the oak woods. It’s the perfect place for your rural camping holiday! A ten minute walk into the market town of Knighton, with its iconic clock tower, friendly pubs and cafes, and the Offa’s Dyke Centre. The River Teme runs through the farm where you can dip your feet after a long day exploring, or freshen up in our modern facilities. The heart of wales train line also runs through the farm with the Station only half a mile walk away.

Pengraig Campsite

1 unit · Motorhome, Tent1 acre · Wales
After a secluded stay on Anglesey? Take a peek at peaceful Pengraig Campsite. Up at the isle’s most north-western point near Church Bay, it’s about as far as you can get from the mainland without actually ditching into the sea. With that far-flung setting comes a stunning sea view – one that can be gazed at for many hours from the comfort of your pitch (a recommended activity around sunset, with drink in one hand and a barbecue stoking implement in the other). See the sea from a different angle on the nearby Anglesey Coast Path or while strolling on the sands of one of the local beaches. The waves aren’t the only gazing material around here – turn your back on the coast for scenic views of Mynydd Y Garn, or bring binoculars for a bit of birdwatching. Once darkness falls, direct your gaze upwards; the lack of light pollution means the stars can often put on a glittering show here. This isn’t a place for folks seeking heaps of facilities and entertainment; the emphasis is very much on peace and nature. Low-key amenities include a drinking water supply, a chemical disposal point and a toilet block (with basins and proper flushing loos). If you want to venture out in search of eats, pub meals and seafood suppers are five minutes’ drive away in Church Bay, and a little supermarket 15 minutes away in Cemaes.
