4 nights at White Peak Camping

The campsite is in such a beautiful area, there are loads of wonderful walks nearby. It is high up, the walk back from the Monsal trail is steep but worth the effort as the field is so very peaceful...perfect if you just want great views, a loo, sink and drinking water. There was always plenty of loo roll and hand-wash. Janice and Paul very welcoming and provided lots of info. Have booked again for next month!

Eden's Nook is such a peaceful campsite..full of birds during the day and star viewing at night. The facilities are great, including the barbeque hut and Jane and Neville couldn't have been more helpful. And Jane's breakfast is delicious! We'll be back!

What an amazing place and lovely people. The facilities are up there with the best, toilets showers and washing up area are lovely, also fridge and plug points. Stopped in the campervan for 2 nights, Snack bar on site if you wanted a sandwich,we had coffee, hot chocolate and icecreams yum yum. Short walk into the small town with quite a few shops to look around. Great place if you like walking. Stunning views.

Eden’s Nook is a beautiful retreat from day to day life, with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. I got a warm welcome on arrival and shown around the site, being the only one booked I was able to fully enjoy the indoor fire pit and bbq, the excellent showers and stunning scenery (the clear sky was something very special)! The site is well equipped with anything you might have forgotten and the hosts are lovely and helpful.

Incredible camping experience. The owners couldn't have been any more helpful and friendly. The toilets and showers are extremely clean and warm. Amazing views. Absolute pleasure staying here. Also the breakfast was perfect, I highly recommend you try it!

Had all you needed - showers, toilet, somewhere to wash up. Even had the possibility of a camp fire which kept us very warm during the early spring. Only a 10 minute drive from Buxton so very convenient. Also many Alltrails routes nearby for any keen hikers.

Beautiful location, quiet, well equipped site with lovely clean bathrooms. Hosts lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be going back.

We really enjoyed camping here. It was so peaceful and the views were stunning. We went on many days trips to various places and it's was lovely to come back to our pitch and settle in for the night. Having the farm shop was great too with fresh produce from the farm itself and fire wood for the fire pits. I had never used a composting toilet system before but I got used to it fairly quickly, there is a shower and flushing toilet down by the farm shop for those who would prefer it though. We would definitely return in the future. Thank you again for a wonderful visit.

We loved it everything about it ! Location is absolutely beautiful If you are looking for a place to disconnect and socialise with people around you, this is the place ! Pretty close to a lot of other beautiful places 20-30 minutes Andrew the fire was awesome he come to see us in the morning we had a great laugh ! There is plenty of space in the field, so even with other campervans there, it feels like you have privacy and room to enjoy the beautiful views. The shower and toilet block was spotless. Henbant is in a beautiful spot with spectacular sea views and the ethos of the site would inspire and suit many people. It’s not the place for a cosy camping experience with modern facilities, so depends on what you’re looking for.

You’ll have permission to start up a barbecue or firepit too (subject to the correct safety measures). When you’re ready to get going, the friendly owners will be willing to help out however they can and suggest possible days out, which may include fishing or walking at Pickmere Lake (10 minutes’ drive), visiting an ice cream farm (within 10 minutes’ drive of the site) or going to the local golf course (five minutes’ drive). For food, there’s a farm shop just two minutes’ walk away from the site where you’ll be able to get your hands on local produce. Pubs aren’t far away either – there is one pub five minutes' walk away, and another 15 minutes' walk away. Festival goers are very welcome, and the Creamfields Festival site is five minutes’ drive away. Please respect the quiet hours (no noise is permitted after 10pm) and environment, as the owners' home is on the grounds (and stick to the field's facilities only).

Located within walking distance of the historical market town of Machynlleth, we're a great base for exploring all that rural Mid West Wales has to offer. We're on the Glyndŵr National Walking Trail and the Wales Coast Path. There are many cycling trails of all levels nearby - from the Lon Las and Dyfi Bike Park to Ystwyth and Elan Trails. A short bus ride from us are the Snowdonia National Park, Cader Idris and beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay. Our guests love the outdoors but like a little relaxation at the end of a day's activities, so we offer a some home comforts in the communal camping facilities barn which has a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, microwave and washing up area as well as an indoor seating area on the mezzanine level. Hot showers and toilets are available in the wet rooms also situated in the barn. You can unwind under the stars in the communal campfire area next to the camping field. There's an outdoor sink on the camping field for cleaning muddy gear and a place to clean your bike if needed. The nearby town offers independent shops, an art gallery and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, grocery shops and a petrol station where you can top up on supplies. You'll get the best of both worlds at this secluded campsite which overlooks the Dyfi Valley's stunning scenery whilst being within stone's throw of local amenities.
