Our site is situated in a species rich meadow field with large mown Pitches surrounded by wild flowers and meandering pathways linking the site together. We are a Quiet family site, with a Reduced Noise policy from 9 pm, and Quiet Time from 10 pm to 8.30 am. Latest check in time is 8PM, unless prearranged with the campsite. Our site has close links to the A6 and m6 J33. We are only 13 miles from the Historic city of Lancaster, the Bright lights of Blackpool and the jubilee city of Preston. 4 miles from the first fair trade market town of Garstang and 45 mins into the Lake District. Nestled between the Western Lake District Fells and the Irish Sea coast this site is situated on a working dairy and sheep farm. Farm tours can be arranged on arrival. A play hut with outdoor games, drying room with communal fridge and freezer (some units have their own small fridge). Natural hedges surround the site. Four fruit trees near the shower block Half a mile to Gosforth village with Shop, Bakery, Cafe, 4 Pubs providing food and an Italian restaurant. Gosforth and Seascale villages have play parks. Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, Wasdale, Scafell Pike and Sandy Beaches with Cafes selling local ice cream are nearby with most Lake District attractions within an hours drive and Edinburgh a three hour drive away. There are 5 campervan/motorhome pitches, a pod, a modern take on a shepherds hut with underfloor heating, a heated pod and two gypsy caravans with electricity to book. All pitches are on gravel positioned to enjoy views over farmland to Scafell Pike and other fells, they are surrounded by grassy areas with seating and a picnic table. A wooden play hut has outdoor games and toys inside. Awnings can be added on the 3 larger pitches. Tents can be pitched next to units for an extra £10 per night. Barbeques are allowed on gravel with our Gypsy Caravans having a campfire area. There is a communal fridge and freezer, outdoor drying space. Farm tours can be arranged. Wildlife and farm animals can be seen in the surrounding fields. Fresh vegetables and barbeque packs can be ordered with 24 to 48 hours notice. Grocery deliveries accepted from supermarkets. There is also a holiday cottage on the farm sleeping 6 over two rooms. Situated midway between the Western Lake District Fells and the Irish Sea Coast makes this site ideal for lower or higher level walks. Sandy beaches at Seascale and St Bees have cafes selling locally made ice cream alongside play areas to keep children happy. Scafell England's highest mountain is close by as are a number of Wainwrights. Nearby is Muncaster Castle and Gardens with its Hawk and Owl Centre, also Ravenglass (a Roman port with remains of a bath house), you can ride up the Eskdale Valley on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway (Laal Ratty). Perhaps take a stroll to Stanley Ghyll waterfall. They have a cafe at both terminuses with a museum in Ravenglass where nearby you can sample Ravenglass Ice Cream. Wasdale and Ennerdale are close by both valleys having cafes and pubs.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. Weekend Trip to Celtic Woodland Holidays

This was our second time staying here, and it was even more special than the first time. Every second is something to cherish. Hosts are lovely, warm and very welcoming. Facilities are outstanding, with communal kitchen and games rooms with had a pool table, air hockey and the means to play table tennis. The pod was warm, comfortable and homely. We cannot wait to stay again. Perfect getaway.

We had a great stay in the Wye Pod at Great house farm. Communication was fab and super speedy! All info was sent over on email before our stay and made it very easy for checking in. The pod was cosy and clean, as well as the hot tub being the perfect temperature for arrival. The views are amazing and we all wished we could wake up and use a hot tub with that view everyday! the animals are all cheeky and fun to watch, my favourite was the donkeys! We had a really great dog friendly stay and would defo stay again! The only thing we wouldn't have minded more of was the tea, coffee & sugar. Otherwise a stunning stay!

Really nice and peaceful place that is clean and well maintained. Would definitely return! The hosts are lovely and incredibly accommodating. What a brilliant location! My only gripe is with another guest, but there’s nothing the hosts could do to stop this. Essentially another guest that was blatantly a male (nice enough as a person) was using the women’s toilets. Numerous times my partner went in with my 8 year old daughter to be met by him in the loos. I know it’s the way of this mad world at the moment, as people can identify as an orphaned penguin. But if my daughter had gone in alone, this could have been a potentially dangerous situation with someone that is obviously mentally ill. I have no idea how this can be managed and prevented though without unnecessary cost. Anyway, this doesn’t affect our opinion of the venue at all. Brilliant break and a much needed period of no devices allowed for myself on my family. Thanks again.

We had a lovely time in the Irfon pod, everything was exactly as described and our hosts were wonderful. The animals, who were very cunning and hatched their escape were so delightful and really made the trip special, I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a break from city life and some time around friendly farmstock (I wish I could have taken your goat home)

We stayed in the Cygnet pod, it was clean, warm and well stocked with cups and coffee/tea. We enjoyed the onsite sauna and complimentary alkaline water then had dinner from the cafe. The pizzas were delicious. Excellent customer service and a lovely bit of the north west to enjoy. 10/10

Gaining access to the pod was easy and even though not on site when I arrived, the owner left her number and answered my calls straight away. We stayed in the Frodo pod for 2 nights, it was really a wonderful experience! The bed is soft and comfortable, and the shower is strong and nice. We love the bird house just a few meters away from our pod, we were able to see a lot of birds and squirrels during the morning, we also saw a dear! We had a fire pit night in the forest which is really cool and chill. There is a lovely welcome card with our name on it in the pod as well. We highly recommend Trawden Forest Glamping, Mark and Angie are really friendly and supportive!

We stayed in Stag Lodge. Delighted with our accommodation. It was comfortable, stylish, and had every facility. A wonderful hot tub. Helen was a great host, e mailing a really useful handbook, about the Lodge, & area. I appreciated the fact that all the essential items like soap, dishwasher tablets, salt, pepper, teabags etc etc were supplied…! A great base to enjoy visiting an interesting area.

4 nights at Damson View Glamping

My 2nd time coming here and it didn't disappoint, I didn't want to leave. The pod are beautiful and cosy, exceptionally clean and well looked after. The pods are situation slightly upground which gives them a spectacular view Its so peaceful if you want time to unwind and I really enjoyed the company of the two chickens and the three ducks that visit. Also I love the log bundles that you can buy for the fire pit as it makes starting a fire so easy. Carole and Howard are so friendly and hospitable. Would definitely recommend.
