Group of 4: all early/mid 20s Pros: - Loads of space to pitch / feels private - Easy to get to - Mel (host) was really helpful and welcoming - Clean and relatively flat site - We had the fire pit/wood bundle and thought it was well worth the money - Access to sink & clean water - Plenty of walks nearby (we did the lacock circular hike on AllTrails which was a short drive away & £5 to park in the nation trust car park all day) Might bother some people: - The toilets are porta-loos (they were clean though) - No shower facilities for longer stays

Weekend Trip to Radcot Leisure on Thames

We had a wonderful time, excellent location by the river, pub and town. It was very quiet and we had enough space for our three families to run around and enjoy all the nature available! We hired the canoe and paddle boards which were fab. The beds were very comfortable and warm, toilets and showers were decent enough but did get messy quickly with all the usage. The wash up station was very basic and some of the outside benches were a bit tatty so because of that, probably an 8/10 BUT great for families.

The setting is peaceful and beautifully maintained, making it such a relaxing and grounding place to stay, even for just one night. We especially appreciated the Abbey Farm Café A special mention also goes to the stunning collection of Indian crafts and textiles. It was a wonderful surprise to discover such vibrant and thoughtfully curated pieces – thank you for preserving and sharing this rich cultural heritage. Overall, a truly memorable visit. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and nourishing countryside escape.

Really a gem of a campsite! Simple but lovely location. Love the compost toilets and did I say location! The small woodland near by you walk through to get to the farm shop is lovely - hidden suspenses here and there, and another family member offers e-bike hire! Great place for families and young and old. Just be aware that it is beautiful and basic!

Very nice campsite in rural surroundings (although the pitches themselves are in a well organised square field with hedges surrounding) and still very close to Cheltenham and other places of interest. Hosts are very friendly and site is well organised. Was lovely to be able to pre-order breakfast. Facilities block is well maintained and well appointed, the Bayliss & Harding hand soap was a nice touch too.
