Weekend Trip to Abberton Shepherds Hut
Lovely little weekend stay in this beautiful hut kitted with everything you would need. So peaceful, we loved waking up to the farm views and having a warm coffee in the cosy bed with the fire on ❤️☺️
There's lots of warm pubs with great food an easy walk away, a shop just 4 mins drink and loads to do nearby if you'd like to venture further.

We booked super last minute with a tentbox - had a great peaceful night - surprise snow in the morning too! Didn’t get to explore the site much due to it being a quick stop over but it looked nice, lots of people cycling and running - the only thing that would of made it better would of been a toilet - but if you’re in a camper this is a great spot!

Amazing experience pitch was perfect, leveled and had a fire pit. Toilets and showers were clean and fully functioning. Everything needed was available in their shop . Logs kindling and bbq setup was available at a minimal cost

We were lucky as the kids went back to school, so had the place nearly to ourselves. Lots of wildlife around, and a museum within walking distance.

Weekend Trip to Wolford Wood Camping & Cabins
This is a beautiful campsite in a stunning area of England and the hosts are so delightful. its all simple and safe and we had a really good time.
A few points of clarity for us would have been, the purchases for site ( logs ) need to be a bit more structured on how much you can have per purchase, but we paid up for what we used in the end.
Truly cannot compliment the hosts and site enough though, thank you for a wonderful stay.

It was our first time camping with our new teardrop camper and we definitely chose the right place! David was so lovely and helped me to reverse it onto the pitch. Due to bad reviews I expected the facilities to be dirty but they were far from it! Very clean and plenty of toilet roll!
As for the location, it’s amazing for people who love walking, we had a few hours walk down the canal and I definitely recommend walking across the road to the Riverside cafe for some lunch. Other than that there’s not much to do unless you want to drive into Stafford Centre but perfect for a quiet chilled couple of nights!

We had the best time in the Shepherd's Huts - it's such a magical place to stay, with beautiful views over the fields and even it's own little woodland walk. We spent two nights just us and our son, then my cousins pitched a tent on the third night. It was so peaceful to be surrounded by nature and have the place to ourselves. The huts were beautiful and cosy and the beds were comfy too. There was everything we needed to have a camping experience that felt both wild yet easy and with all that we needed. A fantastic week as close to perfect as possible. Buddy my dog and I stayed in our own tent on the Don Don pitch. Falling to sleep with the guddling of the stream outside. Watched a meteor storm with fellow guests and got to sample Jane's cooking. Jane can cook. They make pizza in a pizza oven outdoors that is as good as any Italian pie. Easy to find. Lots of parking and super tidy with spotless bathrooms. Without a doubt I'm coming back. Thank You.
