At Wildwoods you'll find 330 acres of natural bushland and a small amount of cleared farmland/paddocks with incredible views in every direction. Endless gullies, mountains, forests, cliffs, and caves to explore on the property or on the crown land adjoining. An amazing amount of wildlife - Birds, wombats, kangaroos of all kinds (wallaby, wallaroo, eastern greys etc), goannas, echidnas, turtles, ducks just to name a few. There are also plenty of roads to ride and explore via mountain bike or foot. The road in is a little rough, and there is only a small amount of levelled land. But it is still an amazing spot, where nature does all the hard work, and I would love to share it with people. This is the perfect place for those who want to be in total peace and quiet, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Each campsite is private, where by you're the only camper able to book the site. Some are more private than others - Read each description for details. *Please note* access to the property is via Megalong Road - a narrow windy road, the only road in and out of Megalong Valley. Google maps can sometimes show options through Kanimbla Valley - This is not possible. Ensure you come in via Megalong Road.

Welcome to this remote piece of paradise! Rhapsody is located in Gingkin,, which is not far from Oberon NSW, about 3 hours west of Sydney. Campsites are hidden in a remote valley direct frontage to the pristine Hollanders River, adjoining the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. There are two private campsites on grassy river flats surrounded by eucalyptus forest. The sites are very secluded so you will see lots of wildlife and you're guaranteed not to see any other people! Only one group can stay at each campsite and campsites are on different parts of the river so privacy is guaranteed. In dry conditions 2WD is fine for Wallaby flat but in wet weather, 4WD is required. Platypus flat is 4wd only. You can always park at the top of the hill and walk down first if you're not sure. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather your own wood from fallen timber on the way in or BYO wood. Not much firewood available on site. Both campsites can get quite cool as they are low in the valley. This is a wild and remote area. Guided remote bushwalks also available for those who are fit and adventurous. Both campsites have a pit toilets, cold shower, spring water on tap, picnic tables.. Water is sourced from a distant spring in the mountain and is gravity fed to the site by above ground pipe which heats the water during the day. There is a small area where you can get Telstra mobile reception at the cattle grid on the way into the property, but very limited mobile reception in this area. If you are on Optus or other networks you won't get any reception. There is no mobile reception at camp - perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature!

Our property is located in the Blue Mountains, nestled right in the middle of the national park and all that the Blue Mountains bush has to offer. Gums, ferns, fresh air and swimming holes. I only allow one group to camp at any one time per site. Other groups will be well away from you. However the dam is available for everyone to use. I adjust each booking with each group depending on size of the group and time of year. I also hold large events so will book out the entire site for large groups. Just a short drive from Sydney but a world away with its ancient forests and meandering pathways. All photos are from the site or within a 2km walk of the camping site in National Park or reserve. Please note that the canyon photos are from a spot that is very difficult to get to. I welcome self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. However there are facilities on site for smaller groups at an extra cost. The property offers a number of sites that can accommodate various group numbers. Please message me if you're interested in booking one or more listings for your special get together. Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, but no cats please. Also please be aware that we are surrounded by nature and part of nature are snakes and ticks. - we need to keep this environment for the wildlife. Elouera Vale is a working farm located just outside Mittagong NSW. We breed and train camels for sale, especially into the Southern Highlands. Camels are excellent for weed control and co-grazing with cattle. 'Elouera Vale' also breeds Belted Galloway cattle, Dorper and Wiltipol sheep and donkeys. Our property covers over 140 acres, 80 acres cleared and pasture improved and the rest consisting of forest. The Chain O Ponds creek runs through the property and makes for a lovely walk. You will probably get to see kangaroo, wallaby, wombats, echidnas, koalas and lots of bird life. The lush green hills abound with walking and cycling trails. Camels are excellent for weed control and co-grazing with cattle. 'Elouera Vale' also breeds Belted Galloway cattle, Dorper and Wiltipol sheep and donkeys. Our property covers over 140 acres, 80 acres cleared and pasture improved and the rest consisting of forest. The Chain O Ponds creek runs through the property and makes for a lovely walk. You will probably get to see kangaroo, wallaby, wombats, echidnas, koalas and lots of bird life. The lush green hills abound with walking and cycling trails. You can head to the spectacular Nattai Gorge via the Box Vale Mine walking track, an easy 4.4km circular walk that follows an old railway line through a tunnel to breath-taking views. Enjoy a picnic in the magnificent Lake Alexandra Reserve or hike up extinct volcanic peak Mount Gibraltar. The closest shops are approximately a 15 minute drive to the Mittagong Town Centre where you will find all the shops, cafes and restaurants for your needs. It is well worth a visit to ‘The Shaggy Cow’ cafe, one of our favourite foodie spots (don’t forget to mention Elouera Vale). While you're here please try the Cool Climate wines. The region’s rich soil and high altitude are ideal for cool-climate wine growing. Visit cellar doors in the hills and valleys around Mittagong, including Centennial Vineyards. Enjoy a pleasant wine tasting experience at Centennial (don’t forget to mention us). The Camel Cottage offers a luxe off-the-grid escape for couples just one hour from Sydney but feels like "miles from anywhere". The Gums Cottage is a fully contained, off-grid modern getaway, surrounded by the magnificent white gum trees that are its namesake. The serene setting and stylish interior of The Gums provides all the essentials for a picturesque and peaceful country escape. The White Gum Forest Retreat offers campsites nestled in a white gum forest, not far from a beautiful trickling creek. There is access to toilets and a small dam near campsites for water supply for showers where required. Our property is located in the Blue Mountains, nestled right in the middle of the national park and all that the Blue Mountains bush has to offer. Gums, ferns, fresh air and swimming holes. I only allow one group to camp at any one time per site. Other groups will be well away from you. However the dam is available for everyone to use. I adjust each booking with each group depending on size of the group and time of year. I also hold large events so will book out the entire site for large groups. Just a short drive from Sydney but a world away with its ancient forests and meandering pathways. All photos are from the site or within a 2km walk of the camping site in National Park or reserve. Please note that the canyon photos are from a spot that is very difficult to get to. I welcome self-contained campers with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. However there are facilities on site for smaller groups at an extra cost. The property offers a number of sites that can accommodate various group numbers. Please message me if you're interested in booking one or more listings for your special get together. Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly, but no cats please. Also please be aware that we are surrounded by nature and part of nature are snakes and ticks. - we need to keep this environment for the wildlife. Please take all your belongings and rubbish with you when you leave. Leave it better than as you found it. Please be aware that due to our proximity to the road and rail that at times you will hear some traffic noise. But most times it is very quiet except for the frogs.

Our stay with Robert was honestly amazing! The space itself was big, spotless, and really well set up. The shower?l and toilet really good. And the firepit area was such a vibe. The pool was chef’s kiss — perfect for cooling off and floating around. And the absolute stars of the place? His three adorable dogs who decided we were part of their squad and played with us the whole time. We were obsessed. We enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of rice patch camp. The cleared area provided large space for the car, tent and star gazing. And well protected from the westerly wind We sat in the bush for shade during the day. The track to camp was rough in a few spots which slowed us down, allowing us time to appreciate the beautiful trees. It’s a great bush camp for campers who are able to be totally self reliant. Our host provided us with useful information and local tips. We are grateful for our host sharing their property.
