Set on a contractor farm is Porte Meadows. Just on the edge of Exmoor National Park, 10 miles from Woolacombe beach and 12 miles to the busy town of Barnstaple. We are back to basics off grid but with proper toilets and showers, filtered drinking water and waste points. Caravans, campers and tents welcome and there is a pub within walking distance ( just across the road).

With footpaths from the farm in all directions you can join the South West Coast Path or just ramble down to the village where there are shops, cafes and pubs a plenty.
With full flushing toilets and hot showers, as well as a washing up area, there is even an old railway carriage with electric plugs to charge your phone or dry your hair, with a fridge and freezer to look after your supper too.
We are a small site focusing on that quiet get-away. There is no road noise, just the farmer going about his day job, who’s more than happy to chat about the wildlife, birds and weather!

Great site, wild camping but with hot shower, toilet and washing up facilities.
The site is super quiet and the skies are really dark at night.
You can have a firepit and there's a food van on site if you can't be bothered making breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful spot, even better than the photos make out. Lesley showed us a more sheltered pitch and it was perfect. The walking straight from the site was amazing and the views from littlehangman down into the town were stunning. Paul provided us with a big bucket of logs and we kept the fire going for ages. Would 100% recommend :)

Wonderful stay. The view is stunning from the whole campsite. Lots of space, children loved running around and having space to play. Lesley and Paul were really welcoming. Facilities were great.

My family and I stayed at this picturesque site for 2 weeks and we had an amazing time. Lesley and her husband Paul were wonderful hosts, always happy to chat and a fountain of knowledge about the area. They kept the facilities clean even over a busy bank holiday weekend.
There were two flushing toilets and one portaloo (to save those at the top of the site from walking too far), two warm showers, washing up facilities and a lovely converted railway carriage that had electrical points and a fridge freezer. On the few days we had rain this carriage was a great space to eat or play board games.
The site has outstanding views overlooking the valley with combe martin bay. Alongside it is a public footpath taking you to great hangman and further Exmoor trails. You can walk to combe martin from here but it is a steep hill back up so bear that in mind if you take a lot of stuff to the beach. Also being up so high you get the spectacular views but it can be windy on occasions so bear the weather in mind when choosing your spot (you are not assigned a specific position so you can move if the weather changes).
What i really liked was that the site was not overcrowded even when fully booked as the hosts keep numbers low. This meant it was not noisy and you did not feel like you were on top of anyone. We would definitely come back here.

This is a beautiful cliff top campsite with stunning sea views and starry skies. We stayed for 2 nights in August and we had a great time. You can walk down to the pretty village of Cadgwith and on further to other beaches and coves. The host Catherine was lovely and delivered a fire pit to our pitch. There is also a food van with great food and loos are clean and showers hot

One of my favourite hip camps! Absolutely stunning view, lovely clean facilities and lots of space even on the bank holiday weekend. Walking straight out onto the coastal path was such a treat! Would come back in a heart beat.

Absolutely stunning!! The view was outstanding! The facilities were really lovely, a proper toilet seat! Couple of showers, sinks to wash hands and an outside washing up sink. It was cleaned regularly and well maintained! They had a hut next to the toilet facilities with a fridge and freezer, and a table if you wish to use. The owners are very friendly and came round regularly to check if needed anything! Definitely recommend! The road coming into the field was ok, it is quite even, and with a low car like my own, we was able to get through without a scratch!😅
Small village 10 minute drive and we also climbed the Great hangman which was a 40 minute hike!

We found the owners to be really friendly, and this spot has such an amazing view we’re sure to be back at some point. The communal area and washing up space is also nicely presented. We did spot what looked like a port-a-loo at the top area, and we had two loo’s in the bottom area. It would be great if there were more than two loo’s here as it can get rather busy. But the camp site is in such a beautiful location with amazing views, it’s well worth your time! We had a great stay, thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cadgwith Camping! The views from our pitch were nothing short of spectacular waking up each morning to such stunning scenery really made the trip special. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel at home right away. We had actually mixed up our booking dates, but they were so understanding and accommodating, allowing us to switch things around without any hassle at all, such a relief when you’re travelling!
Another lovely touch was the little food stand on site, offering different meals each day. It was really convenient and added something extra to the camping experience, especially after a long day exploring.
This was our very first trip to Cornwall, and staying at Cadgwith Camping truly made it memorable. The combination of the beautiful setting, kind staff, and great facilities made it such a positive experience and we were even lucky enough to have perfect weather! We’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming campsite in Cornwall.

Such a lovely site! Sea views were gorgeous with stunning sunrises and easy flat parking for a campervan. Facilities like the food truck, good warm water & clean stocked toilets. Beyond that the family running the site were so friendly and made the experience. Just somewhere where you could feel the good energy.

A brilliant campsite! Honestly, nothing was too much trouble for the team here, they really do everything to make your stay easy and enjoyable. The toilets were always clean, the showers were hot every time, and that alone makes such a difference when camping.
The food van was a total winner too. Super tasty food and great portions, so we didn’t even have to think about cooking. It made the whole trip feel so relaxed.
If you’re looking for a campsite where everything’s taken care of and you can just enjoy yourself, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough!
We will absolutely be back next year.

This camping spot is incredible, I’ve been here on two separate occasions now and it’s not disappointed on either of them - the people who run it are really lovely and super helpful with anything you’d need. The facilities are nice and a good standard for a camping site. The view and location of this place is unreal, Combe Martin is also a lovely town to explore not far from the site.
