This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

Our only note would be to make sure if your van is bigger than a short wheel base is make sure you are a relatively confident driver as the roads to get to the site are narrow single track and quite tight. We had such a wonderful two-night stay at Elm Farm with two friends and our two dogs. The location was absolutely perfect, just a short drive to lots of beautiful beaches, with Porthtowan being a real highlight for us as it brought back childhood memories of visiting. The facilities at Elm Farm were excellent and made our stay really comfortable. The hosts were so welcoming and attentive, and they went out of their way to give us loads of great recommendations for places to explore nearby. One of the best surprises was discovering their café on the bike hire side, the food was absolutely amazing and not to be missed! We couldn’t have asked for a better base for our trip. We’d definitely recommend Elm Farm to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a fantastic location, and we’ll certainly be returning.

I stayed for a single night in my campervan and was really impressed with the site. Its quiet, had all the basic facilities I needed and is well maintained. The fishing lake is lovely and the 2 anglers I watched seemed to be catching some nice fish. Mel & Tom are friendly, welcoming hosts and were kind enough to share some tips on good local beaches for surfing & bodyboarding (reason for my being in Cornwall). I would certainly come back again.

We stayed at Tragella Place Camping for two nights with two friends and our two dogs, and had a fantastic time. The location is perfect – close to plenty of beautiful beaches and just a short trip into Padstow. Our dogs especially loved exploring the local beaches! Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we still made the most of our stay. The facilities on site were great, with clean showers and bathrooms, plus a bar and food available. The hosts were attentive and welcoming, and gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we’d definitely recommend Tragella Place Camping – we’ll be returning!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cadgwith Camping! The views from our pitch were nothing short of spectacular waking up each morning to such stunning scenery really made the trip special. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which made us feel at home right away. We had actually mixed up our booking dates, but they were so understanding and accommodating, allowing us to switch things around without any hassle at all, such a relief when you’re travelling! Another lovely touch was the little food stand on site, offering different meals each day. It was really convenient and added something extra to the camping experience, especially after a long day exploring. This was our very first trip to Cornwall, and staying at Cadgwith Camping truly made it memorable. The combination of the beautiful setting, kind staff, and great facilities made it such a positive experience and we were even lucky enough to have perfect weather! We’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming campsite in Cornwall.

Far from the crowd but close to everywhere, being just 1/2 a mile to the village shops, bakery and restaurants and only 1.5 to the town. A small number of pitches over 3 meadows where you choose where you want to pitch when you arrive, being assured of a great space for your stay, bring whatever size tent or your campervan and enjoy the great facilities include flushing toilets, hot showers and a wash up area with hot water, together with a communal fridge, microwave and phone charging sockets. Horse riding is just a 5 minute drive and if you fancy a spot of windsurfing/ canoeing, then Stithians lake is just 2 miles away. For the surfers amongst you there are several great beaches within a short distance and there's a handy wetsuit wash area when you get back. Dogs are welcome - all we ask is that you clean up and use the waste bin on site. This quiet site is perfect for children 8 years and over with plenty of space for a ball game or two.
