We had a really lovely stay in the Bustard Hut. It was peaceful, quaint, and beautifully designed. The interior was unique and thoughtfully put together, and the hut had great facilities considering its limited kitchen space.
The little touches like the marshmallows, bread, and condiments were very much appreciated.
The only downsides were that the hut wasn’t quite as private as it appeared in the pictures, as we could see and be seen by the neighbouring hut from the hot tub, which wasn’t quite what we imagined. Also, there weren’t any trolleys available on arrival, so there was a lot of back and forth with bags since you can’t park next to the hut.
A few things that would be useful to have are some barbecue tools and maybe a fire mitt, as we had to use kitchen utensils to manage the fire. Overall, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the thoughtful touches throughout.

We had a wonderfully peaceful few days at Swallow farm. Brilliant off grid facilities. Lovely shaded spot so no early mornings due to tent getting too hot. The table and sink area bring a little bit of luxury and we loved hunting for campfire sticks in the woods.
Not hot water but if you leave a metal bucket of water in the sun it gets to a nice temperature for a cool bucket shower.

Brilliant place to camp for a big group. Nice and out of the way in the forest and woke up to birdsong every morning! Compost toilets were clean and pleasant. Really helpful to have a covering with a big table and sink too! Hosts were great, greeted us as we arrived and also had some extra info on local area. Would definitely recommend!

We came for a family birthday getaway at the end of Feb. The hut is private but there is a two person hut reasonably nearby. The Shephards hut has everything you need outside and in, regardless of weather. We had moments eating out in the sun, then a brief hail shower and rainbow in the hot tub. One night was so clear we spent the evening star gazing from the hot tub. There is a farm and wild bird sanctuary nearby so an abundance of wild life throughout the day. Kites, peacocks, buzzards, peasants, deer etc. We did several local walks but the best for the kids was the farm > wood walk, which had a hidden wood swing too. The hosts were quick to help when we needed it and the location was very picturesque. It was a perfect birthday escape. We'd love to come back and see it in the summer!

Weekend Trip to Romantic Country Glamping
Fantastic shepherd's hut. The location was reachable by public transport and walking (train to Trowbridge, X34 bus to Southwick Post Office, 15 min walk) so car isn't essential. The indoor heater made a huge difference, and the provided cake, bread, eggs, jam etc. were amazing and very generous. In reach of some good walks too. Would definitely plan to come here again, really loved it.

Weekend Trip to Cholderton Estate, near Stonehenge
We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Lapwing Hut. The hut was cosy, clean and well heated so we were very comfy for our whole stay. All the facilities worked well, including the hot tub. We had a lovely stay on Susannah's land, a relaxing city break, we saw muntjac deer, birds of prey, wild rabbits! We loved bubbling away in the hot tub overlooking wintery scenes.
