Here, a small flock of sheep graze as part of an ongoing project to restore a wildflower meadow. Only two pitches are available at any time (up to 8 people per pitch). Each pitch has:
Private fire pit overlooking wide countryside views
Camping area (with views) on the lower slope near the shower and main compost toilet
Retreat into the woodland strip at the top of the field—perfect for hammocks, hammock tents, shade in summer, quiet chats and listening to the wind through the trees.

Add the large group tent, ideal for gatherings, sleeping or simply escaping the heat.
It includes a yoga deck / flat outdoor space, perfect for truly unwinding.
Looking for a secure field kitchen? We can open the horsebox on the top field (small extra cost). It’s ideal for food storage, camp stoves and gear while you explore beaches and trails.

Me and my partner stayed at Chalky downs for 2 nights for a little get away ✨. Sharen’s land is beautiful, everyone is so friendly and we even got to order a sausage bacon and egg bap with tea and coffee in the morning! ☀️. We went into Brighton town for a bit of shopping and to see the sea, only a 14 minute drive and we parked in the station car park 👏🏼. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be going back! Thank you so much. 🫶🏼

We felt very lucky to be able to stay on Anna’s farm. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place with wonderful views. There’s an orchard and some very pretty sheep! We enjoyed the hammocks in the woods and the firepit. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved camping at The Old Airfield. Very friendly staff and helpful. Loads of space to park up and tent so you'll never feel 'on top' of other campers. Lovely vibe, clean showers and toilets.
Had a nice bar and pizza trailer on site too to order from every night.
Very relaxing and loads of free roaming animals near by! Definitely will be coming back!

All you could wish for in a campsite. Every detail carefully considered from the horse box showers, ingenious and plenty of space, roomy pitches with butterflies and wild flower boarders, a gem, look forward to visiting again. We loved our time at Teddy’s Farm. It has big, spacious fields and good facilities. There was a coffee/ cocktail bar, a pizza place that cooked fresh, good priced pizza on the spot and a breakfast van. Teddy was very friendly and helpful. He was accommodating even though we pitched up in the wrong place accidentally. The kids loved it. On the first field it can get a bit dusty when cars drive by, but the big field at the back of the farm isn't affected by this. There are lots of great trails and forest walks nearby, short drive away is the Tall Trees Trail which is beautiful. You can also walk to the forest from the farm if you don’t want to drive. Thank you, Teddy!

Prachtige camping met ruime, uitgemaaide plaatsen. ‘S avonds hoorden we de bosuilen. Heel zacht op de achtergrond is de snelweg te horen. Door de week rustig, Engelsen kamperen voornamelijk in het weekend. De pizza en koffie corner is dan ook gesloten door de week. Hout is te koop bij de camping eigenaar. Philip is vriendelijk en positief.
Wc en douche is basic zoals meestal op de Britse campings, maar prima.

We loved the cosy Yurt and the laid back atmosphere a lot! Animals running around the campsite is also a lot of fun, but close the yurt when you are gone or get a visit from the goats that eat what they can find!

Beautiful campsite. Well spaced out pitches with loads of room for big tents and plenty of room for the children to run around without worrying about them bothering other guests. Would recommend the pizzas on Saturday night, too! We’ve stayed at lots of great campsites this summer and this was easily our favourite.

Firstly, the location - yes it’s a cool old WWII airbase! Loads of room to pitch your tent without feeling like you are encroaching on your neighbours. It’s well kept and very clean. The toilets were clean and so were the showers. There’s food (fresh pizza, pastries, etc) and drinks (a coffee / cocktail bar) on site and I thought the prices were reasonable. The staff are friendly and the place had a nice vibe. We took our dog and although she had to be kept on a lead on site, there is plenty of space close by to let her off. if you like camping and are looking to get back to basics, with a few luxuries close by, you can’t go wrong. Beautiful Mudeford is a short drive so there’s plenty to do if you want to venture out. Overall we really liked it. It was just me and my partner this time but we’ve just decided to go back in a few days, this time with the children.
