We loved our stay in the yurt. The hot tub was great and we loved being able to watch the cows while sitting in the sun. Really peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

With kids
We loved our time here. The yurt has everything you need and is ideally situated for Peak District walks. Our children loved learning about the farm animals and watching feeding time and the family hosts are lovely. We would love to come again.

Me and my fiancee had the loveliest time at Spire View! The weather was perfect, nice and quiet area, and the scenery was amazing. Our host was very accomodating and on top of that we had the whole place to ourselves!

The yurt and all the facilities were fantastic - everything was thought of. Sarah was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble! Would definitely recommend revisit ! I visited with 4 friends for a girls weekend.

We had a fantastic weekend at Sarah's camping yurt accommodation, Sarah was an absolutely fantastic hosts, allowing us to check in an hour later and let us take our time on departure. The yurt had everything you could want and had the biggest bed I have ever seen and so comfortable. The love Sarah has put in to the yurts shone through and I can't wait to return for more fun and making happy memories.

We had such a great stay at Fordhall Farm. All of the staff were so friendly and put in so much effort to accommodate our request for a prosecco afternoon tea to celebrate one of the group getting married in a couple of months time. The weather was glorious and the chef kindly told us about a place on the farm to see the sunset from, which was spectacular. The yurt was really well equipped, camp chairs had been left out for us. Despite the scorching hot weather in the day, it was lovely to put the fire on in the late evening to get cosy.
The farm was really interesting, a big focus on being environmentally conscious which we loved.
We would definitely come back - thank you so much to the team at Fordhall Farm

Beautiful place. Very friendly people throughout the farm. Willow yurt was our little home for October half term.
The Yurt itself was basic (which is what we needed with two young kids). Double and single futons were comfy for the kids and the double bed was really comfy too! We kept it super cosy with the log burner. Plenty of logs and kindling provided. We loved the fire pit outside too.
Our car was too low to make it up the slope to the yurt so we left it at the bottom and ferried our stuff up. Which didn’t bother us at all.
We were given a tour of the farm (on request) and also put in touch with the owner of the two beautiful Icelandic horses. She was so kind and allowed us to meet them and even have a ride! We also met the goats, geese, sheep, cows, chickens and cockerels (be warned these guys make themselves known from about 4.30am!).
We had a brilliant time and would definitely think about coming back.
