Brilliant campsite. I was camping there alone but felt very comfortable. Lovely field to camp in, beautiful views around the farm in the morning, great building to chill out in, useful facilities to store and heat food. Also loved the honesty shop with delicious pastries. Ian was very helpful with recommending local walks, and checked in throughout stay. Would love to visit again next year!

Weekend Trip to Over-the-Moon Luxury Shepherds Hut

Despite storm Amy, we had a decent stay. Although not needed, the Facilities were very good. Toilet blocks, shower block & chemical toilet waste disposal too. Paul was helpful when called upon for directions and a mini rescue due to downpour.

2 nights at Peak Pods
The pod was nice, clean, and well-maintained, and although four pods were located in a row, it felt very private, largely due to large open field in front. Excellent location to visit Haddon Hall, less than 5 min drive.

Brilliant kept site, lovely surroundings and owners couldn’t do enough for you.
Shower and toilet block was immaculately kept, lovely hot water shower.
Defo book the flyer fire pits and magic fire dust my grandson loved it!

Really well laid out site. Quite steep in places with rough ground but fine if you are mobile. Toilet and shower facilities are excellent, as is the wash up area with phone charging facilities and shared fridges.
Fantastic base to explore the area, right next to the Thurscross reservoir.

Definitely as described, and would have been absolutely gorgeous if the weather was amazing: beautiful view, fire pit and barbecue, just imagine! The weather was a bit wet and windy for us, but we still had a lovely two night stay and basically had the place to ourselves. Toilets and showers great, the little pub so nice and the farm shop an added extra. We really valued the commitment to recycling and zero waste and everyone we spoke to was super friendly. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely tranquil and family friendly site, second only to the amazing family run operation, which was so welcoming. Both John and Joe were interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible without being overbearing. They care for their site and their customers. Our second time here. Absolutely wonderful hosts, John would’ve put our tent up for us just to stop us arguing!! They’re always around, cleaning, helping and chatting. Never known hosts like that before, it’s so nice. Loved all the baby birds!! Will definitely be back, thanks for a wonderful stay. Love Emma, Matt, Chloe and Alyssa xxx

Such a great place to go camping, the owners are amazing people and are always more then happy to help with anything, they have good facilities with hot water, showers, pot washing station, cold drinking water. They also have a small nature walk on site and long meadow grass and wild flower between plots. The plots are nicely spread out with lots of room between other campers and the pots are a good size. 10/10 would highly recommend

Just returning from our first visit to Cardewlees and we could not of asked for a better stay. Cardewlees is an absolute little gem of a campsite and Johnny could not have been a better host if he tried. Toilet and showering facilities were more than adequate and the water was always nice and warm. Thank you for a perfect stay and we look forward to coming back soon. Ally and Lee x
