Dog-friendly glamping near Rhodes

Staying in 'Oxo'. Amazing cozy little hut full of amazing personal touches and a lovely warm welcome from the owner and some lovely little luxurys on a welcome tray. The site has a little dog run, a little shop for beers, wine and eggs, washing facilities and fire.pits. Brilliant stay.

So much thought and effort has gone into making the stay a unique experience. The pod decor is quirky and fun, the hot tub area private and tranquil, and the snack caravan is so cute! Such a lovely place to stay whether in a pod of camping, would highly recommend.

This is an amazing wagon set in the most beautiful countryside with breathtaking views . We had our own composting toilet . Bruce left us lots of treats for our arrival . We sat outside until late with the fire pit campfire until we could see the stars . It was very warm night . Thanks so much to Bruce for a lovely stay .

Weekend Trip to Bickley Rigg Farm Glamping Wagons

We loved our night at Bickley Rigg wagons. We stayed in Oxo wagon, which has a beautiful bunk bed with cupboard bed beneath, and it’s full of vintage curios, china and oil lanterns. We enjoyed the views across the valley, a campfire, delicious local produce in our welcome pack (especially the bacon), learning how to use the storm lamps and watching rabbits on the hill from our beds in the morning. Feel refreshed and inspired. Be aware toilets and facilities are very much off grid composting ones. Bruce was welcoming and helpful despite his kids being ill- and hard to believe he’s built all the wagons himself- this is obviously a labour of love.

What a gorgeous, quirky and comfortable caravan, with such a fantastic view! Bruce was really welcoming and passionate about the site, the landscape and the wildlife. My boys and i cooked hot dogs and smores on the fire pit outside while we watched birds, rabbits and deer, gathered round the stove inside and played games, then watched the stars before snuggling up in 2 big lovely beds. We enjoyed the delicious extras, especially the bread, bacon, eggs and cheese which made for a tasty breakfast. Really enjoyed ourselves and planning on staying again to enjoy Dalby firest and villages, and some of the Scarborough events.

Weekend Trip to Ravensdale Glamping Retreats

What a gorgeous stay here! Stayed in the glencroft for two nights. I was able to ask Rich lots of questions before booking. The setting is beautiful and the pod even more so. Lovely welcome basket and all you need is provided. You just need your food, a costume for the hot tub and you’re in for a perfect stay. I slept like a log for 2 nights and the weather made it even more perfect. There is plenty to do within 1 hour of the pods and we opted for 2 days of hiking so the hot tub was a welcome relief! The under floor heating is also fantastic. The shower was a little temperamental you couldn’t get a balance between hot and cold but if that’s a stretch to find anything to improve on. I hope I’ll be back one day

We loved the log cabin. Took the dogs for a couple of days, the place is lovely. The weather wasn't the best, so after a couple of wet an rainy walks (which the dogs LOVED) we just hunkered down in there. Played games, drank wine, listened to music. Its perfect to hide away for a couple of nights.

Weekend Trip to Ravensdale Glamping Retreats

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights and we loved it. It’s set in a private area with lovely glamorous pods. I booked this for my girlfriend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Access to a private hot tub, bbq and indoor speakers in the ceiling really allowed us to relax while there. On a night we chilled in our room and had a movie night which had access to Netflix, Disney and all other platforms. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a chilled weekend, while also only being about 25 minutes from the city of York. Thank you to the hosts for being nice and available to us if we needed and also recommending some walks to go on.
