Calling all walkers and wildlife spotters… fancy pitching up within strolling distance of not one, but two nature reserves? That’s the deal at Garth Farm Caravan and Camping in Hollym, less than 10 minutes’ drive from Withernsea’s coast and 40 minutes from Hull.
It's all trees and open fields in the surrounds of this family-run East Yorkshire site, and the pleasing rural views continue at Toffling Hill Reserve (a few minutes’ walk), a place of grassy areas, boundary trees and a shallow pond to explore.
Continue your amble for a further 15 minutes to hit the woodland, meadow and open water of Hollym Carrs Reserve, where you should certainly keep an eye out for a variety of birds, mammals and insects while you wander.
We are located 2 miles from Withernsea, the nearest beach and seaside town. Surrounded by trees and open fields the site is off the beaten track with two nature reserves within walking distance. Within a 10 minute walk there is a village pub and garden centre and cafe.

Just spent three nights in our campervan at Wold Farm. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were invited to choose a pitch anywhere we fancied. It’s a nice, open site and the pitches are spacious. Toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. We knew there were no showers on site but would really have liked some!

I found the campsite easy to find, Margaret is lovely. I camped in the orchard with my tent. I enjoyed my stay and I was made to feel welcome. There is one toilet there near to reception and portable water. I would stay again and recommend it to,

This was our 2nd time at Butt Farm, and it definitely won’t be our last. We love it. The pitches are a great size. When we first arrived our allocated pitch had a tent on it but was quickly resolved, we were given 2 pitches to choose from. There are a few bbq’s which you can borrow free and fire pits for £12 per night including wood, which I think is very reasonable. Plenty of instant hot water for washing up. Fridge and freezers free to use. Nice toilets/showers, again with plenty of instant hot water (and music playing while you shower 😍). Oh and very free range eggs (chickens are loose on the site) for £2 for 6!! Brilliant. It’s only about 40 mins walk into Beverley. There’s really nothing to not like about this site. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return.

It was a lovely setting with Little Egrets nesting in the local woodland. We had nothing but nature in front of our tent with minimal other campers for a bank holiday weekend.

We’ve just had a lovely, long weekend camping, at Butt Farm.
It was so simple getting into site and set up, we recieved a text in the morning with instructions where to find our pitch.
As a family of 4, the kids were over the moon to have two goats, on the edge of the field, a free roaming chicken and site cat, which made staying on a working farm that bit more special for them.
The toilets/showers and sinks were always clean, which was lovely! The showers were big enough to have a spot to get dry in, with plenty of hooks for your clothes and toiletries, especially handy with the kids.
Jen was so helpful, with anything we needed.
Overall it was such a laid back, relaxing place to be! We even woke up to an Easter Sunday treat by our tent. Just looking around the site you can tell how much hard work Jen and Oly put In, to make sure it’s a lovely place to be!
