So much thought and effort has gone into making the stay a unique experience. The pod decor is quirky and fun, the hot tub area private and tranquil, and the snack caravan is so cute!
Such a lovely place to stay whether in a pod of camping, would highly recommend.

Great spot with great walks next to the river! We had a great time and would definitely go back! The pub was also great and allowed us to meet more of the other campers! They also rent out paddle boards and kayaks for trips up the river. However some improvements could be done to the facilities on the camp site. The sink for washing dishes is very low and only has cold water, the sink could also do with a clean. The showers also are quite tight, only have one temperature and make it impossible to not get your hair wet.

Had an amazing stay with Graham and Allison! They were such gracious hosts and have created a little slice of heven on their land. The lodge is so cute and well furnished, we wished for nothing. A perfect romantic destination. We will definitely be back to stay again!

I loved our time camping here. It's really relaxed and because of the tracks are really nice campers who make wonderful neighbours. It's right next to a pub as well which made easy to get food and bevs. We'll definitely be back, this is one of my favourite campsites.

Very chilled campsite with basic but functional facilities. Location is beautiful set in the Oxfordshire countryside with plenty of walks to enjoy. I would have like to have been able to hire a paddle board nearby but either way I enjoyed a circular walk and a pint at the pub.

We had a great stay - overall a very relaxed and easygoing atmosphere. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and the site was pleasantly quiet throughout our visit.
The on-site reception/shop was well stocked with essentials, including fire pits for hire, marshmallows and sticks for toasting, cold drinks, and ice cream - nice little touches that added to the experience.
Just across the road is a charming pub with outdoor seating. While the menu was a bit limited and on the pricier side, it was a lovely spot for a casual drink or light meal.
There’s a town about a 7-minute drive away (not walkable) with several supermarkets and other amenities if you need to stock up on anything. Water activities like paddleboarding and kayaking are also available to rent on the nearby river, which is a great bonus for those looking for some outdoor fun.
Facilities were a bit of a mixed bag - while the toilets and bins were kept clean, the showers could use some improvement. The water didn’t drain well, so you often ended up standing in leftover water, which wasn’t ideal.
One downside was the number of wasps around the site, which became a bit of a nuisance at times.
All in all, a peaceful spot with a few quirks - great for a short getaway if you’re after simplicity and nature with a few convenient extras.

For my first Experience with hipcampers. Very pleased. Arrived late so checked in at the pub. Very relaxed. Only a quick stay as I was going to Fairford airshow.
The Ye Olde Swan pub just across the river look nice did not eat there bus had a great array of beers.
I would stay agin if I was in the area.

Beautiful location great to have the pub next door. Toilet could do with a clean not the owners fault some people are just lazy and filthy. Could do with modernising though, but were ok. Very lovely location check in was helpful and easy, Would book here again 😀

Lovely site for a group of friends with walks and water activities to enjoy.
Facilities are basic and not the cleanest but still fine for a small site.
People were so friendly on site, very happy and welcoming place.
Will definitely be back!

Lovely site on the river right next a very pleasant pub - what more could you ask for. This was my second stay and the site was more or less at capacity this time, but despite that I was still comfortable. There were a few groups up late but no one was being obnoxiously loud. Only complaint is that the showers are way too hot!! 'Warning Hot Water' stickers seem like an admission of guilt. Otherwise can't fault the place, looking forward to staying again another time.

Lovely quiet little campsite, not very busy even in kids holidays. Gorgeous setting on the river. Car parking plentiful. Just the one pub and little shop, and no supermarkets within walking distance, so bring all your supplies with you. Toilets are very clean, showers are clean but very erratic haha

Weekend Trip to Radcot Leisure on Thames
Beautiful location. You are on a tiny little island, with boats on the river. The pub is beautiful. I didn't actually go there other than to check in but it was lovely. Lots of outdoor seating, there was a pizza oven too, which wasn't on but would be great if it had been.

We had a great weekend camping with our 2 children - the setting was really lovely and a great addition being so close to a pub! The campsite is a nice size and there was a lovely chilled atmosphere when we stay. The facilities could do with an update as they are very basic and compact but other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip!

We have stayed in the Pheasant Lodge in this beautiful location and it was exactly what we need it. The Lodge was home to home, super clean and well equipped with everything we need it. Graham and Alison are great hosts, nothing too much trouble. The jacuzzi was amazing, perfect place to relax while watching the beautiful sunset over the canal. Yelvertoft was not too far and we loved the delicious homemade sausages from Alex's deli for our grill. We wish we could stayed a bit longer, truly enjoyed our stay.

To all the savvy readers out there, do yourselves a favor and reserve a spot at this gem of a place. Graham & Allison are the ultimate hosts, and I can't stress enough how delightful our stay was. We're definitely planning a return trip and can't wait to reunite with Allison. The hot tub was a dream, I even managed to reel in some decent-sized fish! The lodge was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Top-notch comfort all around.
