Really nice camping site not far from the beach at all, has everything u need, food trucks, bbqs and fire pits to loan for small few, had a very nice pizza one night, fish and chip van comes round, cows and goats on the farm, nice lights and flowers, nice toilets and shower blocks, I could go on. Definitely will be going back.

What a gorgeous stay here! Stayed in the glencroft for two nights. I was able to ask Rich lots of questions before booking. The setting is beautiful and the pod even more so. Lovely welcome basket and all you need is provided. You just need your food, a costume for the hot tub and you’re in for a perfect stay. I slept like a log for 2 nights and the weather made it even more perfect. There is plenty to do within 1 hour of the pods and we opted for 2 days of hiking so the hot tub was a welcome relief! The under floor heating is also fantastic. The shower was a little temperamental you couldn’t get a balance between hot and cold but if that’s a stretch to find anything to improve on. I hope I’ll be back one day

We loved the log cabin. Took the dogs for a couple of days, the place is lovely. The weather wasn't the best, so after a couple of wet an rainy walks (which the dogs LOVED) we just hunkered down in there. Played games, drank wine, listened to music. Its perfect to hide away for a couple of nights.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for two nights and we loved it. It’s set in a private area with lovely glamorous pods. I booked this for my girlfriend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Access to a private hot tub, bbq and indoor speakers in the ceiling really allowed us to relax while there. On a night we chilled in our room and had a movie night which had access to Netflix, Disney and all other platforms. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a chilled weekend, while also only being about 25 minutes from the city of York. Thank you to the hosts for being nice and available to us if we needed and also recommending some walks to go on.

There’s also a farm shop 15 minutes’ walk away where you can get a decent coffee and homemade food. There’s plenty of room so you’re free to pitch up where you wish. The camping area is exposed and can get windy at times, so take care when erecting tents and ensure everything is well secured. Facilities are simple: chemical toilets and a water supply. The water supply is from the mains but we recommend bottled water for drinking to be safe. There are no showers on site. Solar showers can be bought on-line for about £10. The access road is alongside a grass field, so please ensure that your vehicle is suitable for the terrain.
