We offer Pre-Booked options of early arrival from 11am on your first day and extended stay on your last day to 6pm.
A small "Eco Friendly Site" with a low carbon target. Camping with modern touches. Power is generated from Solar-PV and all pitches have access to Hookup should you need it. The camp has open plan pitches to enhance the views (Pls book hardstanding in wet weather) All Weather 365 Hardstanding pitches. Great for winter or bad weather. If the weather turns bad you can upgrade after arrival (subject to availability)

Approved Fire-Pits, available for hire may be used at the pitch.
Check-in is between 3pm and 7.30pm unless early arrival is pre-booked. If you are late please telephone reception. For your security, a time locked access gate operates after 7.30pm. Pass code provided after check-in for 24/7 access.

4 nights at The Peacock Shepherds Hut
The Peacock Shepherds Hut was amazing. The views are incredible and the hut was really comfortable and well thought out from the lovely Peacock details to underfloor heating. The facilities provided everything I needed to enjoy a peaceful break. Fantastic place to relax and reset listening to birds and enjoying the roaming peacocks and wandering down to see the Alpacas. Carol makes you feel so welcome. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends.

Lovely place, very peaceful and you can tell a lot of love has gone into the place. Camping feels private due to well spaced out pitches and coverage of short trees and bushes between them. Nice people.

1 night at The Peacock Shepherds Hut
We really enjoyed our stay here, the Shepard’s hut is great and in the perfect & private location. Hosts are very friendly and the animals on sight are a fab addition too! We would definitely stay again for a little getaway.
The only things I would point out for anyone who doesn’t know the area- it is around 15 minutes each way to the local towns/shops, but this place is in the perfect location if you want to “switch off” and be surrounded by nature.
The hut has all of the essential items, such as shower gel, hand soap, fire wood, tea & coffee and salt & pepper. However, my only suggestion is that I personally think that some local produce such as some fresh milk & eggs would go a long way and would elevate the experience massively. In saying this, everything was perfect with our stay😊

What a stunning setting—waking up to glorious fields, with alpacas and peacocks roaming freely!
The shepherd’s hut was beautiful: warm, tastefully decorated, and full of home-from-home comforts. It had all the essentials we needed to make our stay comfortable and complete.
We had an amazing few days—some precious time out for my little boy, and me. A peaceful, breathtaking location… just what we needed to rest the soul.

Weekend Trip to The Peacock Shepherds Hut
The land and views were absolutely beautiful. It was food for our souls to wake up in the mornings to a Welsh sunrise and be met with some alpacas with our morning coffee. The peacock Shepard's hut was perfect for a glamp getaway and the facilities were more than enough for a warm comfortable stay. The goats were great fun as they just wanted to play and get some fuss. We loved it so much we want to move to the area now.

2 nights at The Peacock Shepherds Hut
We had 2 amazing nights in the peacock shepherd hut and had lot of fun with all the animals in the farm. The weather was also pretty good so we could walk around and explore the whole farm, we also got a beautiful sunset. Carol and her husband were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking to get off grid for a while.

We had a fabulous stay at The Peacock Shepherd’s Hut! The hut is so cosy and perfectly clean. The views are incredible and it was really fun to be surrounded by so many animals. Would love to come back one day and would absolutely recommend!
