It is a land of plains and hillsides rich in agriculture, viticulture with windmills to be seen in many areas, in one of the sunniest regions of south west France. Bellevues Glamping is a stunning site of an acre, with breathtaking views across the valley, typically surrounded by grapevines and sunflower crops. There is a 10 metre x 5 metre in-ground swimming pool for the whole family to enjoy a swim, ideal to cool off on those hot days. Plenty of grass for the children to run around and enjoy games. Beautiful views from pitches of grapevines and rolling countryside. After dark, gaze at the starry skies and catch a glimpse of shooting stars.It is a magical spot that Richard and Linda fell in love with in 2021, having relocated to France in 2020. The campsite re-opened in May 2023, welcoming guests who have all expressed how wonderful the site is and that they will return. It is such an idyllic place, book your visit with us, we look forward to welcoming you soon.

These are the key terms of our holiday park "Glamping Aquitaine", in the heart of the Department of La Dordogne, France.
Glamping is a form of camping, but at « home Sweet Lodge » it is GL – Grand Luxe: luxuriously enjoying your holiday.
We offers a lot of privacy for our guests. A lot of privacy because on a recreation area of approx. 1 hectare only 5 luxury safari tents have been placed. The view from every tent is breathtaking.
Of course there is a swimming pool and you will find all kinds of sports and game possibilities.
We, Audrey and Sébastien, are always nearby or available for information, help or just for a chat. On occasion we open our small bar; our guests can then meet each other and exchange information while enjoying a drink and a snack.
We bought the Glamping in may 2025.
THE SAFARI TENTS
Our tents have a high level of comfort:

Glamping Aquitaine has been realized on former vineyards; Our tents therefore have the name of a grape variety: Chardonnay, Grenache, Merlot, Sancerre and Sauvignon.
Tent Sauvignon is suitable for the disabled due to its location, accessibility and furnishings.
THE SWIMMING POOL
We have opted for a saltwater pool; this is more natural and comfortable than a pool with chlorine. Skin and eyes are not burdened with all kinds of chemicals. The salinity is significantly lower than in the sea.
The pool is heated to be able to enjoy it in early and late season. At the pool there are plenty of sunbeds with parasols. The pool is fenced, so that small children cannot enter unaccompanied.
THE SPORTS AND GAMES FACILITIES
There is always something to do at our park, for young and old.
A small list: Jeu-de-boule-court, football field, basketball, table tennis table, swings, playhouse, trampoline, crocket, badminton sets, and so on.

All your catering needs are sorted, what with the on-site restaurant offering tip-top homemade food and weekly pizza nights. Going down the self-catering route? You’re covered there too, with all the basics available from the on-site shop. In case you need a bigger stock up, the nearest supermarkets are found in Confolens (15 minutes’ drive).

Here at the Moulin du Pommier a warm welcome awaits. We are an Adults Only campsite set in more than eight hectares of gorgeous, out-of-the-way Charente countryside five minutes’ drive from the sleepy village of Saulgond. In fact it’s so peaceful here that you’ll probably never want to leave. The rippling waterfall and lush green land offers the peace and rest that we crave. Walk around the lake and follow all the woodland trails about the place. Biking trails are for exploring (walking maps are available ), as well as legions of historic towns waiting to be explored, or you can simply relax and chill around the pool area.
All your catering needs are sorted, what with the on-site restaurant offering tip-top homemade food and weekly pizza nights. Going down the self-catering route? You’re covered there too, with all the basics available from the on-site shop. In case you need a bigger stock up, the nearest supermarkets are found in Confolens (15 minutes’ drive).

Great, relaxed campsite and made very welcome by the owners. Plenty of shaded pitches or others with bigger views. The safari tents were also great for us. Food at the bar and live music once a week. Clean facilities and 5 minutes from Brantome.

Beautiful site with wonderful hosts. Hummingbird moths, cows and we heard a tawny owl. We only stayed 1 night but you could relax here for days.

This is such a wonderful site. The view is absolutely incredible. We loved having the entire field to ourselves, and the facilities are very good too. There are beautiful walks and bike rides straight from the site, and amazing places to visit nearby. I would definitely recommend this site if you are looking for somewhere quiet with amazing views.

The campsite owners Chris and Jen are amazing, they go out of their way to help people and make sure they have a great stay. They are a hardworking couple and made the campsite and gites beautiful with excellent and very clean facilities. The swimming pool is great with shaded options,the atmosphere is very relaxed.Jen and Chris are always at hand if anything is needed from quiche to coffee to croissants or ice cream, which is amazing,just ring the bell! Everything you could wish for is thought of, ie cards on a table if you want to play cards under cover with a view if it rains ( it never long does if it does), fishing rods if you wish to fish in their lake, matches if you wish to make a cuppa in their barn kitchen even washing up liquid and clean brushes are there and a washing machine. We’ve had a very comfortable stay and our car broke down whilst here so Chris drove us all the way to the airport in Limoges to pick up our daughter and stopped at a supermarket on the way back so we could get some food as there’s little to no public transport here, and taxis are extortionately priced. You do hear the road from time to time but that’s nothing, compared to the sheer hospitality on offer, there’s a beautiful and peaceful forest and lake and the tipi and lotus bell tent are beautiful, there’s even a little glamping kitchen in the woods! Thanks J&C, for looking after us so well we had a super comfortable stay and for helping us out big time, during a tricky time for us!

What an absolute gem of a campsite! After being packed in like sardines at a previous site on this trip, this site was such a welcome change. Linda and Richard are fabulous hosts, and made us feel welcome from the start. Their lovely little pup Margot is also very friendly and super cute! The site is rural, surrounded by beautiful countryside. There was only one other van staying when we were there, but even if they had been full, it is spacious enough for everyone to have more than enough room and privacy. There's a washing machine that is 5 euros a load, a sink for dishwashing, a toilet and a shower - all really well kept and clean. There's also a lovely swimming pool , which was very welcome to cool off in on a very hot day. Richard also went the extra mile & went out to rescue my partner in his car, when he got lost on a "quick" cycle to the local boulangerie. 100% recommend & would love to visit again.,

Welcoming hosts. A lovely setting with all the amenities you need. Tranquil natural setting. The pool was fab. Clean and well maintained facilities. Surrounding area very pretty and super quiet rides great for cycling. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

The site is lovely. Some pitches under trees. Some in the open on grass with wildflowers in with a fine view across the rolling countryside. Clean facilities and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning.
